well, the trailer should be out anytime now, so we'll see but how the hell is Halle Berry still in this movie.
  5. I like it, but unless you have windows, don't forget the cost of the operating system. Also, you have to figure in the cost of the case, unless your using an old one. Make sure the mother board fits the case. Also, you need a power supply, 40-50 bucks. Is that mother board 1 or 2 PCI-E slots. 1 if fine imo, but two is nice. Kinda like having extra USB slots, can't hurt. Just curious, mainly. Also, buy me a computer too.
  6. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A Chicago man who bought Microsoft Corp.'s new Xbox 360 has sued the world's largest software maker, saying the new video game console has a design flaw that causes it to overheat and freeze up. The proposed class action claims that in Microsoft's bid to gain share in the $25 billion global video game market, the company was so intent on releasing the Xbox 360 before competing next-generation machines from Sony Corp and the "super awesome revolution*" from Nintendo Co Ltd. that it sold a "defectively designed" product. Robert Byers, who brought the suit, said the power supply and central processing unit in the Xbox 360 overheat, affecting heat-sensitive chips and causing the console to lock up. Microsoft spokeswoman Molly O'Donnell on Monday said the company does not comment on pending litigation. Complaints about the problem surfaced quickly on gaming enthusiast Web sites after the Xbox 360 debuted on November 22. Console owners reported that some systems had crashed during regular use as well as during online game play using the Xbox Live service. Problems included screens going black and the appearance of a variety of error messages. At the time O'Donnell told Reuters: "We have received a few isolated reports of consoles not working as expected." She declined to say how many reports Microsoft had received and said that calls reporting the issue to the company represented a "very, very small fraction" of units sold. The lawsuit, filed on Friday in federal court in Illinois, seeks unspecified damages and litigation-related expenses, as well as the replacement or recall of Xbox 360 game consoles. * Words added, but I believe the intended context remains. 7. Some persitant kid on the codex got the papers to work, I guess you just have to get a high roll or something. It's INT based. and I think blasting the place is still frowned apon, I mean, I still think it hurts your "good game path" status. I hope not tho
  8. THeir best is the "Amd 64bit X2" line. I believe the best one available, at least widely, is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103544 Or if you step back .2 ghz you can get this one for $300 less: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103546 The X2 is basically their processors made for high end 3D graphics.
  9. Yes, we're everywhere! Just one I'd like to see a potato scream when you cut into it. Then what would you do.
  10. but without dead guards guns on the ground for them to grab they get slaughtered....and I do mean slaughtered
  11. I found it! I found it! About a year ago IGN did a series on building your own PC, it's obviously dated in terms of tech, but it's GOLD for actual assembling advice, IMO http://gear.ign.com/articles/579/579077p1.html
  12. I guess, it should be said, if you can afford it, get whatever the **** you want. I'm thinking from a penny pinching perspective (say that ten times fast), but if you can afford it comfortably, F it, get top of the line stuff.
  13. If you go top of the line you pay a HEAVY premium for it. For example, if you take a step or two back from the best processor out there, you can get a chip for half the cost and 95% of the performance (note: all number pulled from my ass and are subject to change, but their ballpark)
  14. Well, you have to wait for the slowest computer anyways in MP, unless I'm missing something. EDIT: and I don't want to be "that" guy
  15. I forget your not in the US. I mean, your American is very good. I wish I was bilingual. New review, more positive, tho I don't get the "have to kill everone on the map" to end combat stuff. I ended combat several times in the demo with plenty of people left on the map. http://www.gamesfirst.com/?id=1054
  16. Release date got bumped till tomarrow
  17. I would, but the game is out today anyways, so redownloading the demo seems fruitless. Got find a store tha thas it, I think that might be hard.
