That would be nice, I would like to make a little mod. Something that deals with drow I believe, being a fan of them. A shame you can't make joinable npcs like you could with Baldur's Gate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What do you mean you couldn't make joinable NPC's. There are several mods that had custom made joinable NPC's.

I wonder if I can hijack that AT-AT with Han/Chewie... " EDIT: W00T! It works! I can take over the AT-AT!

So far from what I've been able to play in the demo it's a lot of fun. It runs like crap on my system at anything above the lowest settings though. I really need to get a new computer. <_<

I'm installing as we speak. Too bad I can't play for another 4 fours or so as I have a PnP game to play...

Amazing, I'm now getting more than a KB/s! " EDIT: Screw that. I made it through the line at file planet. 250kb/s should be done in 50 minutes.

Someone is hogging all my bancwidth right now so it's telling me that I have 18 hours left. :'(

It's about damn time! Downloading now.

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted everything else, but it didn't click that I had to go back and edit. I think maybe I'll do that later. I wish I could get some sleep. <_< I've got less than 5 hours during which to finish project/presentation that is worth 15% of my final grade and I'm only about half done. I need more caffeine... It's going to be a long day today.

I wasn't trying to say that the dragon will always do 120 damage. I was referring to how 120 is the maximum damage that a dragon can do and not always what it will do. Most of the time it will do less. About a third of the time it will do 40HP or less. EDIT: It makes sense to my sleep deprived brain. Yay exam time. <_<

A red dragon is not weak. It would seem that the game is flawed ithen if a familiar can survive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well he didn't say what age group the dragon belonged to... " But let's take a look shall we? Max damage for a red dragon would be at great wyrm stage. A Great Wyrm Red Dragon has a 24d10 breath weapon. Maximum damage with that breath weapon is 240, however it allows a reflex save for half damage. Since Familiars have Improved Evasion they only take half damage even if they fail their save for a maximum total damage from the breath weapon of 120 points. Now if we also take maximum HP for the mage at level 20 (to give the familiar the best possible chance to survive the hit) we have 80HP for the master and half that, or 40HP, for the familiar. Discounting any con bonuses that the wizard has the familiar has a 1 in 3 chance of surviving the hit from the dragon (120 damage/40HP=3) providing that it fails the saving throw to negate all damage. Of course any con bonuses from the wizard will only increase the chance that the familiar survives. +1 Con bonus: 120 damage/50HP = 41.67% +2 Con bonus: 120 damage/60HP = 50.00% +3 Con bonus: 120 damage/70HP = 58.82% +4 Con bonus: 120 damage/80HP = 66.67% and so on and so forth... I really don't want to go into it's overall chance by factoring in the chance that the familiar will make the reflex save, because I've just spent the last 5 hours working on a math data management project dealing with statistics and frankly I'm sick of them now. <_<

Yeah, I don't have the 3.0 stuff. I didn't buy the books but I got the 3.5 3 core book set as a gift awhile back.

Don't you need a license to sell stuff on the street? Do you know anyone who hires 14 year-olds? I'm just wondering, maybe I could be a bagboy but I think you have to be 16 to work at Albertsons. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You could always get a paper route. " Ugh, never again...

On a critical hit the enemy rolls a fort save against DC10+1/2 character level+strength modifier. I had a DM once who used something similar for regular critical hits. Enemy had to make a fort save at DC10 + Damage Dealt or something. I had a longsword weilding fighter with improved critical that killed 4 dragons (Two reds, a green and a white) single handedly at 8th level. 3 of them were in one encounter. The rest of the party got in a couple shots but most of them missed and did less than 20 damage to just one of the dragons. I think I quit after that adventure. <_< I think the dice must have been loaded.

Does he have still spell? " -
You'd be lucky to find anything smaller than 80GB now that isn't a laptop or mini-external hard drive. EDIT: My computer has a 40GB that's completely full about 95% of the time.

I still hate you Sargy. My computer hasn't been upgraded since the last time I posted in one of these threads. Screw you money! <_<

Pfft. I can see through your pathetic disguise. You're not an HK-50, you're DarthVala.

All you people and your humans and drow and halflings. They all suck! Kobolds are where it's at! -
Thorton hit Gill into the boards from behind. Didn't look that bad to me but Gill left the game because of a pinched nerve. TSN Article about the game. Also has a little bit about the hit.
-
That sounds a little better.
-
That seems a little overpowered. They have all of the bonuses of elves and twice the skill bonus that humans get. Humans only have +1 skill point per level...

Not sure who does the song but.. Turtle Power from the TMNT Soundtrack. "
