I'm not playing anything at the moment. I've again reached the critical point with Fire Emblem where I want to play the game and continue on, but everytime I start up the game, I just can't seem to bring myself to actually do anything with it. I've got the same thing happening with several different games. I need something new. Why couldn't they have started NWN2 two weeks earlier. Then it would be out by now.

I try not to use the XP sink characters because I really hate going through the tower/ruins again and again just to level up a couple characters. It may be more frustrating in the short term when the non tanks die but if I can get 70 or 80 XP from a grunt by killing him with two weaker characters I usually try doing that instead of using a tank who may only get 10 XP. Usually when I use the tanks I don't give them any weapons or a really weak one that won't kill the enemy. Use them as bait to bring the enemy troops over where the rest of my force can get that first attack in on them instead of the other way around.

It's really easy to tell which banters were added by modders. Step One: If they banter, then it was added by a modder. " I don't recall anything in the way of inter-party banter. I think I recall a couple occasions where they might have said some things as part of a conversation between the PC and an out of party NPC.

It's not the same game for one thing. Music is missing and the game is different, I would not say it is better or not but it is different. I could be wrong but I view mods as something to improve replay value, after you have played the original first. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually I believe that there are ways to get Tutu to use the original music and such. I suppose whether or not you use it depends on what you are playing the game for. It is a slightly different game with Tutu, I agree with you on that, however I would have to say that I am of the opinion that the improvements made to the game for BG2 that you get with Tutu far outweigh the limited experience (not ingame XP mind...) benefits that you get playing un-modded. Just the walk speed alone is worth the mod in my mind! "

While Tutu is nice, if I were you I would play the original version first. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why play the original version first? What beyond making you appreciate the improvements all the more, would it give you?

I finally managed to get past that level on Hard in Fire Emblem! I hadn't been using Seth, because I didn't want him sucking up XP that other characters could use a lot more. I'm on "It's a Trap!" now. Just lost Forde so I had restarted the mission.

I just got hit by that missle tank in the bottom corner. The next couple shots it fires takes out the two injured troops right beside the explosion and two of the group of five above them. Another one get's shot in the back as he attempts to retreat. One soldier and the medic managed to get away. The rewind to last move only allows you to watch what happened. It doesn't allow you to go back and issue different orders.

Oh yeah, that one was hard even on normal mode. . But whether that works on hard mode or not...NO CLUE! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't have nearly as much trouble on normal as I am having on hard. Anyway, I'm currently playing Laser Squad Nemesis where I did a very stupid thing.

That game is seriously starting to piss me off. I'm trying to go through on hard mode without losing anyone, but I swear it's impossible to get through the 6th mission (1st fog of war I think) because The tanks just aren't enough of a tank yet at that point to just soak damage.

Yes I did see everyone score in the shootout, however it hadn't arrived yet when I last posted. And Vancouver has still only given up one even strength goal.

I just finished playing Grim Fandango today. Now I don't know what to play and NWN2 is still another 3 weeks away.

Just watching this overtime period between Vancouver and Minnesota and I'm left wondering if Minnesota knows how to do anything other than just attempt a home run pass to Gaborik. They haven't seemed to do much beyond attempt the long pass despite Gaborik being covered everytime. <_<
