  1. OH GOD, Wii!? I live for these posts.
  2. The characters' dilemmas are better and deeper, Pacino is better in The Insider than in Heat, Russel Crowe gives the best performance of his life, it doesn't have Val Kilmer in it, and it's smarter. Edit: I think Heat is pretty good, by the way.
  3. Actually... Yes. This line of argument could go far.
  4. I still think the more personal story of the prequels could've worked well, if done properly. For me the (bad) quality of the prequels is not a question of personal story vs. good/evil story, it's a question of crap writing vs. good writing. I don't know what happened to GL. American Graffitti had a good script.
  5. "I've got the key to the gates of paradise, but I've got too many legs!"
  6. Are criticizing Hithc0ck, Kirottu? Blasphemer!!!
  7. If the prequels are really about Anakin's fall GL couldn't very well have left out the love scenes, because without them the fall could never work. In fact, that's the whole problem with the prequels, they depend completely on something that was horribly done, and as such are failed movies. You can never believe in Anakin's fall if you don't believe in Anakin's love for Padme. So the problem wasn't that GL inserted a love story in the movies but that he couldn't write it properly. I'm betting Lucas is aware of this and feels quite ashamed about it.
  8. The only good thing about it was Tifa's fight scene.
  9. Why don't you make a "Life At Obsidian" section here in the forums? Or perhaps in the main site.
  10. I've only played the beginning of Rune, but I thought it was pretty awful. I got tired of it when I got to those skeletons that you had to behead if you wanted to kill them.
  11. Yes, but everything else about the new movies sucked. Except Ewan MacGregor and Samuel L. Jackson
  12. I thought House of Flying Daggers was pretty awful, and a lot worse than Hero.
  13. I'm sorry Mus?, I should've said Thief fanboy. :D
  14. One of the best sequels of all time.
  15. I just saw three Dark Messiah Of Might And Magic videos, each showcasing a different PC, namely, the warrior, the mage and the assassin. I have to admit I was impressed by the fact that each class appears to function very differently. What seems to make the difference is the implementation of physics into the gameplay. Examples: - You can, as mage, paralyze a foe and then kick him off a cliff, or you can use ice on the floor to make your opponents slip and fall. - As usual, an assassin uses stealth to catch an enemy unaware and then, either off him from afar with a bow or backstab him with your knifes, which you dual yield. Also, you can throw one of your knifes for a pretty awesome kill. -A fighter seems to be just your regular "charge forward and maim" character. It may, however be the first time melee combat is done well in a game with a first person view. The warrior video just seemed fun. One thing that the videos don't really show is enemy AI. If your foes can do the same things you do, the game could be seriously awesome, but if not then meh. Finally, I really liked the animations, especially the backstab animation. Here's hoping the game turns out to be good. Check them out for yourself: http://www.3dgamers.com/games/darkmessiahmm/downloads/ Edit: I forgot to say that another thing the game's success depends on is the interface. It has to be very well done for the game to work.
  16. I'm thinking about how my post count is the Neighbour of the Beast.
  17. Episode 3 was the best of the prequels, but only because those self righteous jedis start getting killed. The plot still stunk and the dialogues were atrocious.
  18. I don't know what you are talking about.
  19. You just want to destroy my dreams, don't you? Jerk.
