  1. For me, I've gone back and forth over Watch Dogs, for the PS4, mainly because it's not really pushing my curiosity with how they'll actually be able to make the gameplay fun throughout the entire playtime. Maybe I'll be wrong, but I'll be waiting till after it's been released to follow Ubisoft's ongoing discounting of price of their newest games within months of release. Besides that, Divinity: Original Sin would be my next game up. I've spent some time in the beta and have really enjoyed it, however never delving into too deep due to non-compatible saves with each new patch and also not wanting to spoil the game before release since it's so close. I'm really excited to try out the co-op for sure. After reading this thread however, I think I'll also be looking at the Lords of Xulima game that has been mentioned, because I had not heard of its pending release and it looks like a good, fun rpg.
  2. I've played a few hours of it on the PS4, because there aren't any other RPGs on the PS4 at this time and am enjoying it decently. While the graphics aren't cutting edge, they're solid enough. The voice-overs have been a little long in the teeth, but the music has been great. The combat has weight to it, not reactionary weight to your enemies which kind of sucks, but it has weight. I liked Kingdoms of Amaluar, but the combat was a little too arcadey. So far, it's been good, not great, not horrible as some reviewers have claimed it to be, but just good and solid for what it's trying to do. I wish reviewers, would stop comparing game A to game B all the time, especially those with a smaller budget compared to a multi-million dollar budget. Of course game A is going to be more polished and should, in theory, be a better game if it cost $50 million to make as compared to this game. Broken argument in my opinion.
  3. Sacred 3 is comming out later this year. Hope it's good. Actually, due to that game being developed by a different developer and being more of an action game, I'm looking forward to, I believe it's called Unbending which has only started development.
  4. I can't seem to find the post now but someone had asked about the state of Sacred 2. If you get the gold edition which includes the expansion and then get the latest community patch, then you'll be fine. I really haven't run across any bugs and no crash to desktops so far. I'm even able to run physics in the game options which wasn't even remotely a possibility at launch. For some reason this game always holds a special place in my gaming library because I am always hoping that these developers will one day make another game like this without the bugs and without the need of a community patch.
  5. I have it downloaded on the PS4 waiting to go. Very excited for it, however work has become a problem (at least in the being busy and no free time factor), so like Keyrock, it'll have to wait.....
  6. Alright. It appears that the most recent Thief game is available for $17. I understand it's not the best game but for the fan if the series, is it worth it for those that have played?
  7. I really enjoyed the latest Tomb Raider. I thought it was a good blend of combat with some easy, minor puzzles and problem solving, but I thought it had a decent story from beginning to end and it looked great doing it. After reading through these pages, I noticed that someone mentioned Sacred 2. So, because of that, and inbetween my time with Diablo 3 scouring for loot, I've decided to start a High Elf on Silver Difficulty, and after getting 8 levels to my character, I feel like I can finally deal some damage. Thank goodness for the expansion and the community patch, because I remember beta testing this game back in the day and sending pages of reports to the devs of problems, and now, with a newer graphic card (thanks to those on the board for help and advice), the game runs silky smooth with physics enabled and looks pretty good. I understand Diablo 3, being a loot driven game has a good amount of loot, but damn, does Sacred 2 impress me all the time with the amount of loot and mechanics in the game that go into your character, spells/abilities, weapons, armor, etc. Too bad this game released in such a horridly buggy state, because I wonder about the following it would have garnered without all the bugs and crashes. Other than that, waiting for Dark Souls 2 on the pc and when I get a chance, playing through Lego: The Hobbit to unwind. Something about the lego games just seems to click when sitting on the couch and wasting time at the end of the day, plus, I enjoyed the Hobbit novel and movies so far.
  8. I completely agree with this game. Excited to play the expanded edition on the PS4 hopefully soon enough.
  9. Thanks guys for your help! Appreciate it. Got it in the mail today, waiting on a HDMI to VGA cord tomorrow for the second monitor to hook everything up. Pretty excited about it.
  10. Is there an easy way to check on what my motherboard can handle as far as PCI 1 or 2? My motherboard is the ASUS M4A77TD Pro, which I believe is PCI 2.0 capable. And this card does not need power, which will be nice.
  11. That's good to hear. I'm not expecting miracles out of this, especially with the cost of the card but I think it'll serve it's purpose for a good decent enough time. I'll be glad to have a computer that doesn't sound like an airplane that raises my electric bill. Lol. It'll be hear Wednesday so I'll see how it works out and let you guys know. Although I found benchmarks for the 265, I didn't find many player reviews probably due to being so new so I'm happy with my choice, especially when coming from the 275 gtx. Thanks again for your thoughts
  12. With this card, do you think maxing out Skyrim with some graphic mods would be possible though? Would like to try for sure.
  13. I have a AMD quad at 3.2 and 8 GB of Ram, so I think it'll be fine for my comp. I have noticed the R265 while looking for cards. While PSU is definitely not an issue due to currently having a 275 GTX which uses 219 W, I think I side more towards the 750 ti for a couple reasons being running cooler, hopefully quieter, and giving the chance to also add in another hard drive for more storage with more PSU space. Looking through benchmark tests, I see that the 265 does perform better on most games, however it doesn't appear to be too much better and honestly, after playing with the 275 which sounds like an airplane lately, I'd be happy with the numbers I've seen by the 750 ti at the very least. Plus, from what I understand, you can overclock the 750 ti more easily and with more stability. And as well, I've been a fan of Nvidia for a long time and as I know that's not the best thing to always be loyal to, I've had good luck. Also, thanks for your opinions. I really enjoy this board and appreciate the knowledge you guys have and the conversations and suggestions provided. Looking forward to some semi-older games and newer games on a newer card like this for sure. Like Divinity: Original Sin for sure
  14. I currently have a Nvidia 275 GTX that is approximately 5+ years old and I'm looking to upgrade it. I'm not in the mind of spending a ton of money and have been checking out different possibilities. One of the major contenders would be Nvidia 750 Ti Superclocked. Runs about $160 which is kind of the price point I'm looking at. I'm aware it's not the latest and greatest, but do you guys believe it would be a decent upgrade. I know sometimes with newer cards in mid-range, they're not typically "upgrades" compared to prior versions, but thinking that Nvidia has had numerous series between, including the 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, and soon to be 800's, I'm thinking it would be a decent card. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  15. May be a silly question that's been asked numerous times, so sorry about that, but what's the easiest way to post pictures in this forum? I know Steam pics don't seem to work.
  16. I certainly commend you on the level 70 hardcore. The idea behind it is intriguing to me, however if I were to die and lost everything, with the low amount of time I do have to game, it would be hard to pick the game up again, but that's awesome. After the expansion came out, I just started a Crusader up from start and am nearing the end of Act II. I'm excited to get to Act V and complete it to be able to do some adventure mode and bounties, but as of right now, just enjoying the class and the drops I get from time to time.
  17. What would you say your time with Second Son amounted to? I only started and was having so fun after an hour but was wondering how long it would last but it may seem longer to me as my playtime has been dramatically minimized due to a beautiful newborn but still looking forward to more time with it.
  18. What about Guild wars 2?
  19. Don't worry, you're only missing COD with some crappy mechs. Not to discount anyone else's opinion on this game, but this is kind of how I felt after playing the beta a bit. But to each their own.
  20. Blood knights I think. How is it? Would appreciate the screen poster's impressions.
  21. How long did it take you to make your way through the game. There's been a lot of conflicting numbers.
  22. I almost preordered this game but after seeing some early reviews and impressions, I decided to hold off till a good sale and start over on my play through of Dishonored which I have been quite enjoying due to the freedom allowed.
  23. I wish I could buy this title since I've heard so many good things about it but the 20GB install is a massive barrier since I have an 80 GB version that seems full all the time.
  24. I'm assuming it would be greatly helpful to the whole story, but do I need to start from the first game in order to enjoy this third release? Just wondering since your character seems to be starting from level 1.
  25. Part of the atmosphere I think they were going for. Well. It's certainly good to hear LoS2 is like the original. I have no idea why the reviewers have been cutting it down so much when all I hear is praise from none-reviewers. I myself have restarted a fresh game after stalling out the first time. I sort of agree on all accounts about the city from what's been said but I will say I'm really enjoying the actual gameplay quite a bit and wonder what pulled me away from it the first time.
