  1. Unibrow elf and her stuffed dog companion. Don't look too long at its eyes.
  2. Better known as the obsessive-compulsive disorder.
  3. What do you people think about the 5 classes. They seem very run of the mill from where I'm standing.
  4. And maybe not even then. As it is now its just a gimmick, in most cases put there to distract you from really thinking about how bad the movie you're watching is.
  5. Well since EA sticks to its stupid policies come hell or high water I'm not likely to anyway. I think they did a decent job on the graphics but I can't speak for anything else.
  6. Yeah the figurine looks much better on the pics than in real life. Its sold separately in some stores here.
  7. I agree that Riddick is an excellent game, particularly in the way it changes its gameplay every once. Very cinematic and exciting.
  8. I posted that in the Witcher 2 topic. CD Projekt rules.
  9. Depends on how much you like the game I suppose. Usually I like these sort of editions in theory but most of the time the actual contents aren't that exciting/interesting. The only edition of the sort I have is the Witcher Enhanced Editon, and the actual extras are either boring or unnecesary - and compared to this stuff the enhanced edition is positively modest. I think steel dvd cases are great because they look good and are durable but unfortunately they aren't all that common. I only have the Jade Empire one and I'm still refusing to buy the Red Alert 3 one until they introduce a patch that does away with the limited activations and securom.
  10. You're not going to forget the money spent with that ugly plastic figure staring you in the face every day.
  11. Update on the Steelseries 6Gv2. The keys are indeed rubbing off much faster than is acceptable, the WASD combination is already 50% duller in little under a month of use. So that's one major flaw of this board. Another is putting the backslash key \ next to the right shift, which made the said shift key much shorter than usual. This results in not being able to easily extend your right pinkie when writing a capital letter on the left side of the keyboard. Its very hard for me to do and as I have very long fingers its probably impossible for people that have smaller ones. Since the right hand must now leave its home row to press the right shift this results in a delay and possible typos. Otherwise I'm not noticing any other flaws so far.
  12. Five years ago I was all for goodies in special editions as the old boxes were dying out but this is becoming obscene.
  13. Lol they really dropped the ball on this one didn't they.
  14. The redhead had around 40 % of the total vote when I looked. So I guess goths are Bioware's new target demographic. It makes sense with all the angsty facial expressions their recent protagonists have.
  15. We could have done with someone other than Natalie Portman there.
  16. There you have it. Brave kids, a pity it didn't work
  17. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.gog.com/en/news/celebrating_gam...esome_discounts And I just dumped all my money on Starcraft II
  18. Bioware makes character driven games and the ME2 crowd was for me dull in its stereotypical portrayal, whether they be out of a blockbuster movie or out of Bioware's stock dialog and drama that they've collected over the years. That and I disliked the gung ho protagonist from the voice to the responses. That said over the years I've developed a strong antipathy towards the sci-fi blockbuster partly because I liked them too much when I was a kid and partly because my taste in movies has refined. The game is essentially a homage to something I can barely watch now which makes me more biased then most. FNV felt novel, like most sandbox games the first time around. Lots of stuff to explore, some of it clever and interesting. The weapon sound/visual effects of the wild west arsenal was a lot of fun for as long as it was viable. When we got to the Fallout gear, I started to lose interest. In fact my interest was directly proportional to the ratio of wild west elements to stock fallout themes, with the latter turning me off in general. The story and characters were no more than a backdrop for the exploration so far as I am concerned. I'm not going to replay it, because the novelty is gone but I was quite immersed for a while. The most fun I've had since the Witcher, even though I'd rate FNV below it. ME2 below that, DA below that and ME 1 on the bottom.
  19. I agree, New Vegas was a fun shooter most of the time. ME2 was dull, too much on the rails and too low on actual player involvement. Every encounter played out more or less the same. ME3 will be like that as well which is why I'll skip it altogether.
  20. Say what you will but CDProjekt caters to their fans, go CDProjekt! The Witcher was the last game I bought at full price and I don't regret it at all especially when I see stuff like this.
