  1. Yeah, but due to the "lack" of feeling now why would he really care?
  2. Wow, this is just sad.
  3. Can I pretend he is? Otherwise ToB has no redeeming value
  4. I gotta agree with kirottu. I mean would Darth Vader seem as cool as he is with only a paragraph to describe him?
  5. Indeed. It's down now, but it showed the Jack guy (I don't watch the show, but if you're part of any forum on the internet there's a little enclave of Lost-watchers) on a table, knocked out, with a little girl sitting next to him. Pink shirt (I think) and blonde hair. It apparently wasn't on the show, but was on their official site. Could be red herring. *edit - Here we are, found it. The official line seems to be that it was part of a hallucination sequence that got cut, and "accidentally" got loaded onto the site. but do you believe it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Curiouser and curiouser.
  6. A good villian can carry a weak story, a weak villian can wreck a good story.
  7. Agreed. Way too obvious.
  8. Actually, my favorite "villian" in TOB was Gromnir :D
  9. I agree with this completely. Bohdi definately had potential, and I expected more from her.
  10. I think my biggest problem with Irenicus was the lack of feeling I was able to muster toward the character. I hated Sarevok most of the game, but felt pity toward him at the end. With Irenicus I was pretty pissed at what he did to my BG1 party... but when I found out why... I kinda laughed (not a humor laugh, mind you)... and then killed him anyway. Bohdi was a midboss as far as I was concerned. And I barely remember the villian in ToB. As for the three presented today... Can't say I'm looking forward to the first two, but I can't wait to come across the Gith.
  11. That might be part of it for me as well. Plus I did play BG about 5 times more than I did BG2.... so maybe that colors my perceptions a bit.
  12. I found an old archived thread that has them all in order by date. Pretty creepy to see how it all went down.
  13. HE did play "tiddlywinks"... except in his case it was clones and experiments and other fun Hellraiser-ish stuff. Oh, wait, that was just the tutorial for the player. Maybe I just empathize with Sarevok more because he wasn't really a villain. He was pushed into that role thanks to his "father" and "mentor".
  14. Yet, supposedly he didn't feel anything. So why would he care? Oh, that's right, revenge... which he shouldn't even feel... cause without a soul he doesn't feel anything. Sarevok might have been a single minded terminator, but at least he had a real goal and reasons for it.
  15. Irenicus just seemed like a whiney punk to me. Boo hoo, I was bad, they took my soul from me, I don't feel anything anymore, so I'll steal the soul from someone who I feel doesn't deserve it. Boohoo, I've got issues.
  16. Hey, wow, that looks awesome. :D
  17. Meh... none of the villians in BG2 were as good as Sarevok.
  18. I'm almost tempted to play this again now that I've finished SS2.
  19. I just realized something... Juliet said they were in the Hydra facilty. I wonder if that's on that map?
  20. Hey, does anyone know of a site that has all the email logs on it? I think it'd be cool to read them by person, and in order.
  21. Just finished System Shock 2 again. I love that ending. Naah
  22. Purge is fantastic crowd control. Especially in chinatown :D
  23. Well, yeah, of course. I can never get enough of turning people into wallpaper. I just thought we were talking about weapons. :D
  24. I'll take an assault rifle over either. "
