That's a very uneven and uneeded comment.

A survival horror game with semi-rpg elements such as stets and skills that you can raise as you complete certain objectives. The game would be open ended and with multiple endings based on the path you took as well as "good" and "evil" endings. Plus the "let's get the hell out of here" endings no survival horror game (except Haunting Ground) has done. There would be the ability to choose from multiple characters and starting points, and you'd be able to play through with each and not miss anything. (i.e. no exclusive events) Also the game would be on an event based timer, so as you progress through the game time would be moving forward so it would be possible to miss events as you trigger others (woo woo more playability) I'll add more later as I think of it

Lucufers Call was the first one released in the UK. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm glad I don't live in the UK If you're not against emulation, you can always get the first two snes game... fans have translated both to 100%. And I think there's a couple for the GBA as well. (that were released in NA so they'd be in english)

Pokemon is much the same, you swap new ones for old ones (and evolve them) as you get further into the story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've played Pokemon, so I can say that no it isn't if anything, Pokemon is SMT for kids (if you want to keep at this) SMT came out on the SNES long before Pokemon was invented

Yes <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope. In Pokemon, the goal is the creature gaining "THAT" is the point of hte game. In the SMT games it's just a way to recruit characters as you move through the storyline.

Unpopular? No I'm just saying that looking for "platinum or greatest hits" games and assuming they're the best isn't wise. Take Disgaea. Fantastic game on a lot of levels... but you won't see a greatest hits version of it. And the game did very well, so well in fact that the game alone caused Altus to open a NA branch. Or Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne An excellent, and very mature game. But you won't see it either, unless you blow a lot of money on ebay. Greatest Hits does not equal best.
