If I was allergic to something, I'd it eat to spite it. Oh wait, I already do!

My former boss called and asked me if I'd be interested in a part-time job. Considering to accept her offer.

Looks like crap, and I am saying that with a positive mindset. I can't write how I actually feel. Let me just say my jaw dropped.

I hope Obsidian can have him on one of their games to do a few tracks. Doesn't look much different from an Elder Scrolls game in my opinion, other than good animations.

Thanks. If it is something, I must hasten my plans to take over the world.

Good old tacos. Add some vegetable and Lebanese bread, and have at it.

Going to visit a doctor once more. My headache isn't going away and I never got a real answer the last time I was there. Come back next week if things aren't better, she said. Well, this time, I won't leave until she puts some goddamn effort into figuring out what the hell is going on.

WE'll agree to disagree, then. To me, the game is nothing like a Final Fantasy game. To you, it is. We won't be getting anywhere because we will keep going in circles.
-
Pre-made characters means it's like Final Fantasy? Then I guess most jrpgs are like Final Fantasy. There will be some choices in the game, but as I have only played it once, I don't know how big their effect are if you do another playthrough. I'm guessing they don't change much.

Divinity: Original Sin. I also bought Demonicon for €6 from Bundle Stars or whatever the site is called.

Buy a PS4. Hopk up your PS2. Boot up Suikoden V ??? Profit?

I can understand being wary, but I think this is the kind of Kickstarter project that deserves support the most. That is, a very small, unknown developer who just needs enough money to pay for music and help with basic living expenses so they can work on the game full time. If anything, I see the fact that they are brothers as a strength; less chance that one of them would suddenly abandon the project than if one of them was a hireling. Of course I'm looking forward to PoE, Wasteland 2, etc. but it would be a crying shame if it ever got to the point where only projects from larger, established developers got funded and all of the small indie games fail because they don't have famous people on their team. I'm willing to give them 10 bucks to Kickstart their project. I know what you mean about the name-dropping, but unfortunately it seems everyone does it. I do see some Suikoden influence, but not really anything of FF or Chrono Trigger; battle system more closely resembles Radiant Historia than anything I think. But hey, at least they actually have gameplay footage. A lot of KS projects are just concept art / mockups (granted these days, those types of KS usually only succeed if they are done by well known developers). They have certainly showed off more than a lot of games have. I'm not wary because of these individuals. It's just what's been going on on Kickstarter in general. I have played some real gems like Expeditions: Conquistador and The Banner Saga thanks to this crowd funding model. I just don't feel compelled enough to put my money on the line for some projects even if they look good. I just go on my gut feeling.

Beating down fools in Divinity: OS. I have one ranger with fire spells. Jahan, does what Jahan does. A one handed Paladin type character and Madora brings the pain with her two handed weapons. It's working out pretty good for now.

I might check this out if it ever gets released, but I am wary of backing it. They are two brothers that are doing their first KS project. I didn't read much of the KS page, but I'm not a fan of namedropping classic jrpgs and then show footage that in no way resemble those games. I wish them the best of luck.

I'm playing the PSP version of TO in the PSP which is a first. I have also finished FFT on PSP and the translation actually makes sense in this version.
-
My bad. I meant traditional jrpg rather than a Japanese srpg. There are no classes. You move through the world. The cities and dungeons aren't some menu you click on. You explore them like a traditional rpg. It's not really anything like Final Fantasy Tactics. (FFT is one of my favorite games.)

I'm not telling people to buy or not to buy this game, I am only responding to Volourn. I don't know if he has played the game or not, but it is no Final Fantasy clone. Neither a clone of the numbered games or the Final Fantasy Tactics games. How combat works: -It is turn based. -You fight on square grids. -A maximum of 4 characters can be used in combat. -You get into combat by touching enemies on the map. -You cannot move where you want and attack in the same turn. You have to choose. Do I want to move out of the way of an AoE spell, or do I stay put and try to unleash my own attack. -I played it a while ago, but I think you can interrupt enemy spells when they are charging. -There's a turn order bar. You can see who's about to attack and it is possible for both you and your enemies to use this to your/their advantage. -You have your regular options like Attack, Move, Art (spells), Craft (special attacks you can use when you gain SP), Item, Run. -Buffs and debuffs can be very useful. -No grinding is needed. You might have to grind for one level at times. There is a diminishing exp gain from the same area once you gain levels. -You use orbments to customize your characters and their skills/spells. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD4SE4BF2q8 Go to 5:15 and they show the orbment system. I think this video is a decent showing of how the combat is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8BZLQE91JU On the story part: I think it's a bit overrated by people who are big fans of the game. The game is slow paced and it only gets really interesting in the final third of the game, imo. On the other hand, the events that were interesting means I really want to play Second chapter.
-
Sorry, it isn't. I have played and beat the game. I have also played every numbered FF except FF11. It is nothing like a Final Fantasy game and it doesn't try to. It's its own thing.
-
More Tactics Ogre. Going the Law route because I have alwasy done Chaos on previous runs. I'm almost at the halfway point. The story is better than Final Fantasy Tactics, but the gameplay is slightly below in my opinion.
-
Not really. the combat isn't remotely similar and the tone of the game is nowhere near a Final Fantasy game.
-
It plays nothing like FFT. It's an rpg with turn-based combat on grids, that's the only thing they have in common. It's not even a trpg, it's a good old rpg.

I have one of my pyramids in the market and carry the other one with me. Saves time. Teleporting like is great.

It's a seagull. That's no fun. I was thinking maybe that some kind of insect stung me and I am developing superpowers. I'm now thinking if I want to be a hero or a villain.
