  1. Umm, I seem to recall those stupid default Unreal Engine metal crates everywhere.
  2. Going by what I've seen of the leaked preview build not only can you build a fort out of garbage cans, you are required to to so in order to reach certain areas more stealthily. Generally it did seem somewhat less interactable, though.
  3. Does not compute. simple answer to that, your foriegn. you dont understand the bare concept of english yet. Yes, my English is not the best. Perhaps you could explain the principle idea behind your last post in simple words so that I might understand it? ok since you asked nicely; i would of preferred this game had not been created as i believe is a travesty on the dungeon siege name. I can respect that. Thanks for explaining it to me.

  5. Does not compute.
  6. It was using a somewhat outdated engine with quite a bit of default assets, the gunplay and the AI were also bad by the standards of the time. These days it hurts the eyes to look at some of those models and animations, not to mention that voice acting. That said, it's still pretty playable if you've played it before. Probably not a very good time to play it for the first time.
  7. DX hadn't aged well when it was released. I don't know why anyone would want to change your opinion, there's quite a difference in liking a game and understanding its importance and legacy. Oh and I'm amazed at how not-consolified HR is.
  8. Game reviews have worked on the 7-9 point scale from times immemorial. The other numbers are there just for show.
  9. Spelljammer or bust!
  10. not at all it just looks like DX is loved in spite of its shortcomings, which is somewhat amuzing Why is it amusing? This is pretty much the place for people who love stuff in spite of its shortcomings, just look through Obsidian's catalog...
  11. o/ Still awesome, except for the lack of higher resolutions.
  12. Suspiciously like the elderly...
  13. I think people need to stop taking arbitrary labels seriously. I could call it a flight simulator, and we'd still have played the exact same game in the end.
  14. I think it's pretty much the fans liking it despite some minor problems and antiquated design choices, everyone else is pretty much ignoring it. That said American McGee doesn't deserve to have his name on a coaster, everything he has touched has either been total crap or survived his influence through sheer miracle.
  15. Good job stirring up all the grognards, Morg.
  16. I'd rather skip the demo and see the game. I don't dig the 5 year trickle of teases.
  17. Yeah, it's been happening for a while. Consoles started getting really popular because of their ease of use, established user base and fixed hardware. Downloadable games are pretty big on consoles as well. And I personally love the hardcopyless PC gaming.
  18. It's not exactly high praise either, especially working on the 7-9 scale.
  19. Wow, mad animations. Any chance the actual game part is coming out between now and the heat death of the universe?
  20. Oh? I mean seriously, the reason most people buy the boxed, physical copies of these games is so they don't have to download so much, they expect to install most or all of it from the disc I always thought it was because some people liked to own something physical. I guess it sucks for NZ.
  21. With all the hate Alice is getting, the quick look looks pretty good in my opinion.
  22. I never asked for this!
  23. Welcome to two years ago.
  24. For what it's worth, the Cruncheons also took a giant dump on the game(and Obsidian).
  25. Stapelton gave high scores to Red Alert 3, he's opinion has been long invalidated.
