  1. There are a few games that balance the customization and a defined protagonist pretty well, on the more defined side you have The Nameless One and JC Denton, on the less defined side you have Shepard. What I don't like is the completely blank slate like NWN or KOTOR II. It might help some players connect better with their character, but it does the exact opposite for me. I feel more like a floating camera than an actual character.
  2. Bah, January Jones is much more awesome. I'm still trying to finish Dragon Age.
  3. Why would you need the sender's address?
  4. Well, you could buy it the next time you come to EU.
  5. Adapting to the British biology will take centuries, if it is possible at all.
  6. At least they are all funny to say. So, did any of our ideas help, Boo?
  7. Sorry, I know Estonian and Hungarian are related, but it just looks so... unpronounceable
  8. That site has enough accent marks to drive any man crazy. It's all "j
  9. Last time I suggested to try Amazon or Ebay, we're trying new things now. Don't you have any ideas? Hungary is closer to Serbia than Estonia.
  10. Buy it second hand in Serbia? I'm sure you have your own version of Ebay there. Or you could call various game shops, some might still have a few copies collecting dust.
  11. The main reason why Sony should be happy about Heavy Rain is that it's a PS3-only game with critical acclaim that might finally move some hardware. The software sales are icing on the cake. Pre-order bonuses are stupid and need to die.
  12. I heard the Obsidian hit squad was having some problems with delays so it might actually take a bit longer...
  13. Good point, but this isn't about minor features, this would be like making Morrigan a dude.
  14. I guess they changed them to grayish brown and redish brown for this one. So is Vegas destroyed or not? This looks kind of contradictory to the CG trailer.
  15. Actually, most people seem to want ridiculous sequels or licensed games and they're not being very specific about them. Also, developers are deathly afraid of taking ideas from anywhere because you could sue them for using your idea.
  16. I, for one, wholeheartedly support more defined protagonists, including VO. I'm tired of main characters who end up referred to as "the wanderer" or "the exile" and are depicted as a blurry humanoid shape. Having an actual fleshed out character will make for a more consistent overall experience and also help with immersion. And screw localized voice overs.
  17. Why would you condemn anyone to such a terrible fate? The internet is pretty weird, though, just look at you and the phrase "lol".
  18. Sounds a bit like Pathologic. Anyway, no one is going to make a specific game based on your idea. The only way it's going to happen is if you make it yourself.
  19. Well, there is the PS3 thread Also the PS3 has no game.
  20. I dare anyone here to find a single person who thought that POR2 was "good".
  21. We need more good games and less Arcanum. Our ideas are not mutually exclusive. Success!
  22. You could also, you know, write stuff down or have a tape recorder. Idea am fail.
  23. You can also market the game when you actually have something to show. I just generally dislike CG trailers, it's like making a movie teaser with different actors.
  24. Just another CG trailer, they might just as well save the money and make the game better.
  25. Sounds eerily similar to Memento.
