  1. What's the deal with Brayko? I just chain shot him in the face 2-3 times and that's it.

Would you like a specific color or should I just choose at random? Having CD-keys for downloadable games is redundant.

Not as far as I know. They have never "run out" of Valve games, however...
  4. I believe the mechanics will be Hack and Slash in an innovative dual configuration. Hack and Slash are are registered trademarks of Obsidian Entertainment.

Sure they can, this is a problem with the DRM. Most of EA's games have unlimited stock because they don't require to be activated, especially since Steam already does that anyway.
  6. Purkake replied to Calax's topic in Computer and Console
I meant the limited number of activations was EA's fault.
  7. I liked San Andreas the most, multiple cities, planes, craziness.
  8. Did anyone actually read the article that I linked? GTA4 had bugs up its ass when it was released and not just in the performance department.
  9. I like it. Yahtzee's Duke Nukem Forever review offers some good ideas as well.
  10. Every game that wants to sell goes for the maximum playerbase, it's simple economics. I don't think that adding politically sensitive issues to a bland and cliche story would make it any less bland and cliche. You can have a good story and still appeal to the mainstream, I don't know why most developers don't realize that. Maybe it's one part the current development culture and one part not having any good writers?
  11. You'd be angry too if you had that bad teeth
  12. I agree. Also, you don't need politically sensitive issues to have a good story.
  13. Choo choo, all aboard the off-topic train!
  14. How it really works:
  15. It's multiplatform, so chances are that it won't. The days of games being "fixed" by mods are pretty much over. You either get games specifically made to be modded or games that are not worth the trouble. I think the story problem is mostly caused by the wide target audience and the publisher, also possible the development culture these days.
  16. I didn't say anything about sales. When I say ported over with a good deal of success, I mean they played well, looked great, and were warmly received. I remember GTA3 and Vice City actually won quite a few awards on the PC back in the day because they looked superior to the console versions. The previous GTAs might have, but GTA4 was riddled with bugs, performance issues and GFWL issues that may or may not have been fixed by now. Look, someone even wrote a story about that
  17. I'm perfectly happy in my wait and see seat.
  18. Not exactly what i was getting at, a billion games have had a terrorist/evil government storyline before and after Deus Ex 1.
  19. Selling well and being a crappy port are not mutually exclusive.
  20. Purkake replied to Calax's topic in Computer and Console
The stupid part is that they run out of something that should be endlessly and perfectly reproducible. That part is EA's fault, though.
  21. Sure, my point is that they can screw it up by having both and make it work by only having one. I'd rather wait and see than worry about that. I'm still super skeptical about the game, but mostly because of the story/writing parts, it's AAA enough to have decent gameplay one way or another.
  22. ...what? Whether they have a separate skill system or just have augs doesn't make the gameplay any better or worse by itself, it's just a design choice. You can expand either system to account for both.
  23. Does it really matter in the end? The skill/aug system is not going to make or break the game.
  24. It's not like they forced you to use it and cheat.
