  1. I went with my Cpt family to an amazing restaurant last night at a prestigious hotel called Cellars-Honenort https://www.thecellars-hohenorthotel.com/restaurants-bars/the-conservatory/ The restaurant we ate at is built over a forest in the hotel grounds, I tried to capture how scenic it was in the photos.I had Starter : AGED BOLAND CHEESE SOUFFLÉ – gin cheese sauce, parmesan Main meal : SEARED OUTENIQUA SPRINGBOK LOIN , Honey glazed parsnip, XO chutney, charred onions, rocket pesto, red wine jus The cheese souffle was the best I have ever had
  2. No its not that, when you immigrate to any Western country you have to accept the value system of that country but you can still have your own culture and religion, thats why you see so many " little chinas\russia\korea\india\mexico\jamaica " in basically all Western courtiers that are immigration destinations
  3. I absolutely believe this, Putin is a warmonger and believes in the indomitable view of " might makes right "
  4. Im glad you raising these immigration realities because when I mention it you get some members, @majestic, who handwave it because Im a " facist\racist " and there is no immigration problem in the EU But you right, Sweden faces some real and obvious immigration challengers and the worse thing about it is if you ignore it you will see the rise of right wing political parties who get support from citizens who are not right wing but they not happy with current liberal immigration policies and this directly impacts things like crime
  5. So if i understand you correctly citizens of Sweden, and other countries, must just accept the reality of gang violence and increased crime because immigration is inevitable? And lets be honest these problems have definitely increased due to your liberal immigration policies so we cannot ignore the connection You dont think maybe most people would prefer a response like " lets immediately review our immigration policies " because we can understand many people have valid concerns?
  6. Comrade is just pushing his usual radical left hyperbole so I wouldnt take him seriously But the success of " right wing " parties in Sweden and throughout the EU is something everyone needs to consider and liberal immigration policies are a factor here as many of us have raised On Al-Jazeera they highlighted how the reason you seeing this success and support in Sweden for " right wing " parties is for reasons like gang violence and crime which is exacerbated by your liberal immigration policies. On Codex numerous Scandinavian members raised the same thing. And most of these Codex members are not white supremacist, like Rostere who use to a mod on Obsidian. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/9/12/swedish-opposition-inches-ahead-in-cliffhanger-election So my question to you and @Pidescois you do accept and recognize how immigration is a huge part of this political change and what do you think should be done about it so it doesnt feed and strengthen the real right wing in the EU?
  7. Gorthfuscious !!! Stop being naughty and pushing unnecessary anti-Western rhetoric Once Putin is gone it wont be the West who decides his replacement, it will be the Duma and the Federation Council who will decide his replacement Of course if they replace him with " another Putin " type that could be problematic. Lets try to be positive and believe the Ruskies would have learnt from Putins autocracy but these political developments would be up to the Russians The West wont decide this for Russia
  8. Great news for our EU friends if its proven to be true, the sooner the EU gets over any Russian dependency on energy the better
  9. Yes, destroying any FDI in your country because you stole the assets of foreign investors would be considered bad leadership by most
  10. Maduro is slightly better than Chavez because he hasnt nationalized any foreign oil companies....not that any are left And his anti-Western rhetoric is not as bad as Chavez but he is a terrible leader I agree
  11. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/sep/11/putin-loyalist-kadyrov-criticises-russian-armys-performance-over-ukraine-retreat When Putin loyalists like the criminal autocrat Ramzan Kadyrov criticize you know you have a problem
  12. The end to Putins War will be accelerated by this type of real dire economic news about the Russian economy and the military successes we all witnessed around the Kherson\Kharvic offensives. https://www.businesslend.com/news/russias-budget-surplus-evaporates-as-energy-revenues-shrink/
  13. True but they had leaders who were well meaning but didnt address the core problems and didnt understand what Russia needed to become a proper and sustainable Democracy, like Yeltsin But that doesnt mean the next leader or government wont make immediate changes, like ending the invasion of Ukraine But I do think we a long way off from seeing Putin removed or stepping down but the discontent is growing
  14. What an interesting read, amazing how effective the m777 is. Clever weaponry and a godsend in the war in Ukraine
  15. Why do you think that? We first have to identify what the issues are and replacing the " strongman leader" will he a very good first step. Putin is a huge part of the political policies and direction Russia has been going in, a new leader could immediately allow people to protest without being arrested and stop shutting down private sector media houses? Those are just quick wins but some of the change that could be implemented to improve things
  16. I dont know, its hard to think of someone much worse than Putin. Normally when autocratic leaders who endup weakening there country get replaced the person who comes after them is better, not much necessarily much better but definitely better because he has to change things and " fix " the issues that caused his predecessor to be replaced Look at Zimbabwe and Venezuela? The new leaders are better than the previous autocrats
  17. I imagine its for Crimea and ending the Russian occupation and the US\West gets what they always wanted to achieve. An end to Putins hegemony and militancy?
  18. Brave men indeed, you never would seen this before Putins War started? Its an example of the rising discontent from within Russia
  19. Thats all I wanted to hear, thanks for responding I believed you would say it but I wasnt sure. Im glad you responded in this way
  20. Firstly Im not defending what happened to the journalist by the Saudis. It wrong and I condemn it I have always made the same point which you guys dont want to understand. I am saying its not worth cutting ties with Saudi Arabia and impacting the global oil supply. Its just not worth it and Im not going to change my view on that economic reality and impact to all our economies But do me favor, can you state in your own words something like " you unequivocally condemn the various wars crimes and human right abuses committed by the Russian military in Ukraine" Just that, I want you to say it? Humor me ...its not hard? Because it will confirm you are consistent in what you say you believe
  21. As mentioned the Russian retreat has provided the Ukrainians with a wealth of military resources and this link confirms it again, great news
  22. Geez Gorthfuscius, you have completely missed the point of this thread. Its about the Robots trying to replace humans ...and we MUST reject it and fight against it
  23. We have seen what the Russians are most effective at in there military efforts. Targeting civilians building, rape and killing of civilians So of course there mass retreat will be followed by attacks on electricity stations and the attempts to destroy infrastructure and of course @Zoraptor will defend and justify it and we will hear about Kosovo\Bosnia as usual .." yawn" And whataboutism is a distraction to a point raised, here is the definition "the technique or practice of responding to an accusation or difficult question by making a counteraccusation or raising a different issue " So when we say " Russia are using the normal cowardly response and targeting civilian infrastructure" and someone says " yes but look at what happened in Bosnia\Kosovo " that is whataboutism We not talking about Bosnia\Kosovo, we talking about Putins War and one of the charges of war crimes is targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure and this is a war crime because its " unnecessarily destroying civilian property " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_crime
  24. Thats interesting, AI art winning awards Guess I was wrong
  25. I dont have any understanding of art except for simple things but I definitely wouldnt buy this It just doesnt look like anything to me, sorry to be negative. Also I dont believe AI can recreate certain things that are intrinsically human or require a human to be significant Famous and beloved art needs the creativity and imagination of a human brain and psyche and I dont see how AI will ever do that?
