  1. What about Israel, do they have Nazis in there security forces
  2. In Kingdom Come:D the way they designed alchemy, reading, pickpocketing and lockpicking is overall the best way I have ever seen these mechanics done in any RPG. To go into more detail lockpicking: it really is challenging and fun every time, I have broken lots of lockpicks reading: it makes sense how you progress and learn skills. I find myself taking 2-3 days on most books alchemy: by far the best and most interesting skill to use. I love how each recipe requires different steps to create the necessary potion. Lots of fun pickpocketing: a unique system, I have never seen anything quite like it and its creates a real challenge every time you commit this crime I hope other gaming companies take some tips from how Warhorse creates these activities because they worthwhile
  3. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/only-putin-can-break-russia-ukraine-stalemate-germanys-chancellor-says/ar-AA18ffP3 Scholz reasonable views on negotiations and finding peace, to quote "There will be no decisions without the Ukrainians," Scholz said, saying Putin had clearly misjudged "the strength of Ukraine" as well as the "unity" of "all the friends of Ukraine" in challenging the Russian invasion, which began in February 2022. He added: "It is very difficult to judge what will be the next things to happen in Ukraine, but there is something which is absolutely clear: We will continue to support Ukraine with financial, humanitarian aid but also with weapons." Also for those that didnt see it in the link is the video of Lavrov who was in India and he got laughed at when he suggested " the war was launched at us "
  4. What a story if its true....attacking a bunker with shovels
  5. Yes, Im asking a separate question. Not all posts are related, Im asking Malc if he thinks Putin worries about the Neo-Nazi in Russia like he is concerned about the neo-nazi in Ukraine enough to " justify " an invasion
  6. What is Putin doing about all the Neo-Nazis in Russia, do you think he sees that as a problem?
  7. I think the broader issue is any government, left or right, that undermines its Constitutional values and weakens its Democratic systems. Look at Cuba and Venezuela, left-wing governments and countries are a Democratic mess
  8. https://news.yahoo.com/israelis-protest-judicial-reform-ninth-191345712.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall Ninth week of anti-government protests around the imprudent judicial reforms A couple of observations Israel is the only real Democracy in the region and this legislation undermines this and makes Israel more like its neighbours who dont respect or care about the independence of the judiciary the conspiracy theory that sometimes gets peddled that Jews all think the same and have the same agenda is something I have never believed or experienced and these protests are just another example of ths this proposed legislation is egregious and divisive and will continue to create huge social and political issues in Israel if its implemented
  9. Well done @Sarex This is a good decision from your President, you dont want Serbs joining Wagner and being associated with there long list of war crimes
  10. https://www.tocabe.com/ @ShadySands They had this authentic Native American restaurant on Diners, Drive-in and Dives. Its in Denver. You should try it, they dont have a huge menu but they do have delicious Bison Ribs
  11. Oh no, Solovyov admitting Russia did start this war. Vatnik propagandists are going to be shattered, guess its not the West\NATO fault. But refreshing to see some honestly, " oh what a tangled web we weave when we seek to deceive "
  12. Yes I agree, the way my UK family complain about " food shortages " is classic first world privilege outrage. My one cousin literally said on WhatsApp " we couldnt get imported German sausages for 3 days at the local deli, the country is collapsing " @Gorth I appreciate the concern but no need to worry, UK citizens wont freeze and starve to death. The British become very resolute in time of hardship. Remember the Blitz
  13. https://meduza.io/en/feature/2023/02/25/russia-ends-nowhere-they-say @xzar_monty Monty I know you like your psychological articles about people's mindset. Here is another one about Putin and how he sees the invasion and Russia's future linked inextricably to the invasion and war
  14. You were probably thinking of a pool and not a pond? And a swimming pool is normally man made
  15. I'm 25 hours into KC:D and Im loving it, some general comments the open world design reminds me of an Elder Scrolls game. If you see a building or mountain you can go and explore. I like how the quests are designed, some have a timer on acceptance but most you can do when you ready The skills advancement system works nicely, I regularly go hunting to increase my agility or train with Captain Bernard to learn combat and increase my combat skills I love the numerous activities like hunting, archery competitions and the opportunity to steal items The economy is realistic and balanced, you really appreciate finding items on bandits and selling them to increase your wealth I have never been so grateful to get a horse during the Ginger quest. I really enjoy the entire realistic implementation of a Medieval world, I love fantasy but its nice to see something different I am enjoying the Romance arcs, I am courting Theresa and taking things slow. Its not my normal hot Viconia with fishnet stockings and knee-high boots Romance but its worthwhile I am getting more proficient in combat and thats always a good thing Its as realistic as it can be without being having annoying mechanics, the weight system works when you can use your horse for storage And I can carry on with whats great about this game but I have covered the main points I dont have any notable criticisms , one minor thing is how animals dont run away from you constantly even when you shooting arrows at them, they tend to stop so you can kill them. This makes hunting easy and unrealistic but I dont mind this
  16. Holy smoke, only 10k people attended and they had 1.4k police deployed. No wonder the protest was peaceful
  17. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1326470/Sons_Of_The_Forest/ I have some exciting news, the Forest 2 has been released and its receiving some excellent feedback like the first one. Forest 1 was the best horror survival game I have ever played, so I will definitely be getting this one Here is a classic gameplay video and the type of thing I would accidently do
  18. Yes I agree, its not unreasonable but it requires Russia to first end its invasion and then you can achieve meaningful negotiations and sanction relief
  19. https://www.mfa.gov.cn/zyxw/202302/t20230224_11030707.shtml Here is the Chinese peace plan, somethings make sense and somethings are not going to happen until Russia ends the invasion. I like the first part and how they recognize the UN and the importance of sovereignty But I wonder how that applies to them and there geopolitical ambitions?
  20. Latest UN resolution on Russia's invasion, in a year not much has changed. 80% of the countries who voted support Ukraine with 7 countries supporting Russia SA again disappoints with abstaining but good to see most African countries supporting the resolution
  21. That wasnt my logical conclusion from the article? Covid created a period of isolation for Putin but he received terrible advice around how the invasion would be received and he overestimated the efficiency of the Russian military . And thats been more or less confirmed by numerous sources, dont you remember the infamous and cringe " Kiev will fall in 3 weeks " and " Most Ukrainians will welcome the Russian invasion " For me the article just confirms what we have already seen and know. It didnt even mention the word China?
  22. Fair enough, its the innuendo that concerns me because sometimes governments get accused of lying but its not lying they doing. They not sharing everything which is not the same as lying
  23. But Monty I hope you realize that no government in the world can be completely honest with its citizens all the time, especially when it comes to security of the country. Thats why you have confidential and secretive labelling of documents and why Diplomatic cables are confidential This sometimes creates unnecessary levels of concern and activism from citizens because they have an unreasonable expectation that they have a right to know everything but we dont. And this is more prevalent in times of war
  24. Im 8 hours into Kingdom Come: Deliverance and so far Im loving the overall Medieval experience the game provides, some highlights its a beautiful game. I am running it on maximum graphic settings I know nothing about this historical time period so I am enjoying the lore around Bohemia I like the different survival mechanics like nourishment and rest. Its realistic I haven't really touched on serious combat but I finally worked out how lockpicking works which was very rewarding when I got the ring the miller asked for from the executioner I like the open world design, I enjoy exploring and interacting with people I installed some good mods and everything I was advised to use, like save anywhere , seems relevant and appropriate for the game. I will do another update once I am further in the game but Im very impressed
  25. Geez...thats a Siberian sentence nowadays isnt it
