Just curiouse on who backs 10K
BruceVC replied to Byeohazard's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Generally people will keep quiet if they were one of the large backers as it may be seen as ostentatious to say "hey everybody I'm one of the 10k backers, look at me " -
.... My cats don't break things, but they sure are havoc on cloth furniture. That's very cute Keyrock, good one I'll give that game a try as well

100%, what do I always say? I play games for entertainment and not inspiration. I think sometimes people take games waaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously and they get emotional about something that they really shouldn't. Get deeply upset with the war in Afghanistan if you feel strongly enough about it but not the fact that you only have 12 spells as opposed to 18

Yaaaaaaaaaay, good news

Dude, step away from the mirror Okay that was quite clever

You know, I hadn't thought of that, wells are kind of scarce up here and especially the stock farmers value water sources highly. But that does not give anybody the right to mess with my property, I maintain the cistern, I paid for it, its my property. When I see someone messing with my water he better be a faster sprinter than me if he doesn't like wheelchairs. I have seen it numerous times, people feel annoyed by what they feel is someone's unnecessary attempts to secure something that they feel doesn't need to be secure so they break the security. They don't want to steal anything its more the principle. Its wrong but it happens

Okay that does sound serious but you don't know if it was poisoned unless you test the water properly. Maybe someone was just making a point that you shouldn't keep it locked?

I watched Cold Mountain again last night, I forgot what a brilliant, sad and evocative movie it is. For those who don't know about the movie its about Jude Law who is a Confederate soldier who makes his way at the end of the American Civil War back to his true love, Nicole Kidman, through the dangerous and war ravaged countryside of Virginia to North Carolina Highly recommended

Yeah that would happen to a certain degree to Obama if its found out that Assad didn't use the Chemical weapons but an attack on Syria wouldn't be on the same scale as the invasion of Iraq. Both from a timeline or logistics perspective

Might & Magic X Teased by Ubisoft, To Be Revealed at PAX East
BruceVC replied to Infinitron's topic in Computer and Console
Hurlshot do you not think this game is a little violent...it seems its just about killing things? Sounds like a Might and Magic game. Yeah I suppose you are right, good call I'm not really sure what you mean. It isn't overly gory or anything. I'm not really against violence in games, I just want it to have a decent motivation behind it and some strategy involved as well. Heck, I love the Saint's Row series, those are quite a bit more violent. Good points, please ignore my previous comment -
I also love my meat. Have you ever eaten an Eisbein?

Holy Smoke !!! You little hog But you have lost all that weight and are back into running so you should treat yourself

I hear you but I think you are underestimating the credibility of the various global powers who are saying Assad is behind this and the type of intelligence they do have but they can't share with the public yet. The White House has said they have proof but they need to make a decision if they can make it available as it will reveal there sources. I can understand there reluctance?

Because if there is one thing I know it is that a number of nations have already decided how they want this to turn out and are more than willing to distort the facts, or ignore them to achieve that outcome. That is not to say they are wrong, only that I don't believe a word they say. For all that matters. I would nor believe the US government right now if it told me rain was wet. GD, if you have time switch to CNN they are about to have a live briefing at the White House on Syria

Don't know about over there, but here asking if you're a Female D-subminiature or Male D-subminiature is a big no-no. You funny

I see the entire Arab League is also convinced that Assad is behind the Chemical attack and have suggested an international response. The USA, UK and France also now are saying they confidant that Assad is responsible It amazes me that there are still people on these forums that dispute the opinions of countries that not only are involved in Syria but clearly have more intelligence in these matters than we do . And please don't say " but look at the pretense to the invasion of Iraq, intelligence reports also said Saddam had WMD" This is not the same argument as we know that Chemical weapons were used last week and there is no need to search for them

Have to love BS questions like those. The overtime one though, that'd be a bit of a flag if I was asked that. For fun, ask them about turnover. When candidates ask our interviewers here, boy do they squirm and try to spin it. I don't think those questions are BS, nowadays many large companies also want to understand the psychology of person they may hire. Its not enough that the person is suitably qualified but will they fit into the culture and work ethos of the company

Prepare yourself for questions that may not be worked related for example What is your biggest weakness What do you do when you are really stressed out What would you say are your biggest assets when working in a team What would you consider to be unacceptable work developments or conditions (I answered this recently I said " I'm a liberal and don't accept bigotry") What's your view on working overtime? Be honest about what hobbies you enjoy but try to show some variation Good Luck
