You make an interesting point, but I still think it should be optional for those that feel its appropriate?

I doubt it, he seems too much of a "Bioware-Basher". He is too critical to be David Gaider That's why its the perfect disguise - who'd ever suspect? Its better than "Clark Kent Glasses"! Good one

No Im not, but that's because I don't feel anyone's sexuality should be forced on another group and Im pretty sure someone somewhere is already drafting up a lawsuit against <insert church that wont marry you>. Regarding homosexuality? I don't care who sticks which sexual organ into which orifice, as long as everyone is consenting. Okay lets say hypothetically the Federal government doesn't pass any legislation to force any churches to marry gay people. Of course there will be certain churches that will perform the ceremony but that's optional. Would you be happy then?
-
I think you're wrong about this. They will force it on the churches by revoking their tax exemption status if they say no. Are you pleased with the Supreme Court decision Gfted? Its probably a stupid question as how can anyone not be pleased with the legal progression of equality in the greatest country of Western Democracy and ideology? I'm not even American and I'm ecstatic
-
Its funny you mention that but on my old forum I was told the exact same thing , people use to joke about it But I have a rule, only say something on the Internet that you are prepared to say to that persons face. Also I try to be respectful and polite but I don't always achieve that goal
-
I think NKKK is being sarcastic

Damn you beat me to posting this progressive and long overdue development All I can say is " well done USA Supreme Court" Gay couples will now get the important benefits around tax and healthcare that straight couples get and cleared the way for gay couples to marry in California. This is great news and every American should be proud of this decision. The next move needs to be pass legislation so that gay marriage is legally allowed in every state. But lets take one step at a time

I have an issue with any game that strays too much from the original plot in a movie or plot. What you mentioned is like playing some game around Lord of the Rings and having Sauron come down from Mordor to arrange a picnic with the Hobbits, or rather that's more likely to happen than Little Finger bringing peace to the Seven Kingdoms It's as not as Black and White as that. Really? I've read the books and I stand by my opinion of Little Finger. Send me a PM if you know something about his character I don't know. I would be interested to hear?

I have to be honest I admire your open mindedness but even for a big supporter of Romance like me I think that is an unreasonable expectation to make on Bioware? Also why would anyone want to Romance a Broodmother, they are hideous
-
I hope so, but I am still hoping for an Isabela type character to Romance

That was with respect to WoD's link, not Allan's- which I (probably unsurprisingly) near entirely agree with. My bad, I apologize. I was thinking "how could you have got the link so wrong, it doesn't sound like you "

I hear you but for me there is no right way about revealing national secrets like the Prism program, there is only wrong. I don't think anyone who works for important institutions like NSA should ever make public what they know unless it is clearly and highly illegal and unethical, something like a covert program of genocide. Especially since we now know that Prism helped prevent Terrorist attacks and now Prisms effectiveness has been compromised?

Interesting, I can't say I like all those outfits but some I think look elegant
-
How would you guys feel if your wife or g-friend dressed like this and you went to the local mall together? Would you be embarrassed and if you don't like it what is the reason? Obviously you need to be open-minded as such an outfit is quite revealing I think its looks nice, its sexy

funny

Wow, I think you have missed the whole point of the article. But I want to discuss this later when I have more time
-
Wow that's one of the best articles I have read in ages. Really insightful and relevant. I have forwarded it to all the people that I know would appreciate the content I read many interesting points, but the ones that for me are most interesting are The facts, despite what I normally believe, won't always convince people Our subconscious defense mechanism around contrary ideas is to rationalize and not reason To convince someone we can't just use facts but we have to integrate this with there values I find the last point the most thought provoking, I want to discuss this later when I have a break from work as this will lead to more debates

Well, it had- up to the point the papers stopped cooperating, and as much as Snowden's stuff has been. It went to WL first, but as I said, that assured anonymity, something Snowden was not worried about. Handing it to WL is no more a public release than handing it to a politician is, it only becomes public when, er, it becomes public whether it's a politician reading it in parliament (or someone in their office leaking like a sieve) or someone putting it in their paper. ... That is quite the most charmingly naive thing I've seen in a long long time. It's good to see that some people still trust politicians. But those would be the same senators and congressmen who are slavering about treason and espionage*, running to the top of the pole beating their chests and shouting about how the release damages national security and the like? Going to a congressman would be a good way to cut out the middleman, but not in the successful release sense. He might as well just have gone the whole hog and bought a one way ticket to the Gitmo part of Cuba. After all "congressman catches dangerous subversive spy" is marvellous PR and does not run the risk of you being labelled a traitor yourself. Sheesh, Manning confided in a hacker (in this case code for "foetid gob of yak sputum") and got dobbed in by him. Mmmmm, maybe. You may be right. A congressmen may have just turned him in and basked in the media glory but I doubt it. On further reflection I think the more likely outcome is that no Congressman would have gone to the media or made this information public. It would have been a death sentence for there career and jail time. The reality is that Prism has helped prevent terrorist attacks and is a useful tool to gain pertinent information about suspected terrorists. Why would any Congressmen want to be become a traitor by exposing this?

.. okay that must be funniest post of the week

Well... this situation has the potential to be... icky, We were together for about a year. It was right after I was in that car accident. My life was in total ruins, I had just lost my job, then the accident, my whole savings was just about wiped out, and I has having some real issues with depression following the accident and I was self medicating with booze. Anyway she was one of the physical therapy nurses I was working with and after I was back on my feet I asked her out and it just went from there. We were both divorced and really into each other but she was looking to get married again and after my first go around I really wasn't. So that brought that relationship to an end. That was like four years ago. I have not seen her since. It's a little dd to hear from her out of the blue but curiosity compels me to see her. I wrote her a nice reply and asked he if she would like to go to dinner this weekend. I was thinking here: http://memphis.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=memphis&cdn=citiestowns&tm=20&f=10&su=p554.23.342.ip_&tt=3&bt=8&bts=8&zu=http%3A//acrememphis.com/ GB what happened to you when mention an accident if you don't mind talking about it, I have read others talk about it but I obviously joined these forums after the whole incident occurred.

Use the backdoor and GTFO? I could never be that rude, no that wouldn't be acceptable

I don't get the restrictive laws in Oz, the place is like a police state. They have the most poisonous creatures in the earth, cataclysmic storms and wildfires that ravage the land, man-eating sheep and other very dangerous wildlife yet they feel the need to protect there general population from the "horrors of gaming"....
