I thought you would be more defensive but I should have realized you would respond in a reasonable and accurate way Let me ask you the question a different way, does it bother you that people assume you are SJW. But lets be realistic about the word SJW. That only exists on the Internet as an insult really, its not seen as a positive. I don't tell people I'm a SJW I say " I'm committed to SJ causes in RL and I take this seriously " So do you consider yourself someone who supports SJ in RL and how would you feel if most people on these forums based on your general posting etiquette assumed that about you? I live in JHB which is considered the economic hub of the whole continent....its like the NY of Africa Anyway its an amazing, fast paced, vibrant, cosmopolitan melting pot. You can achieve real economic success in JHB but like all big cities it can be a terrible place if you don't have money or you exist in the periphery. JHB has been very good to me even though it obviously doesn't have the quality of life of living by the coast like most of my family When I moved to JHB 15 years there was this club called Truth, its still open and offers the best nightlife experience on the continent. It used the location of an old Snake Park so apart from the fact it has 4 dance floors it has all these pools and windy stone pathways.....anyway we going tonight, its going to be epic

As TrueNeutral said, how organic the discussion actually is plays into whether or not it's O.K...and when somebody pointedly ignores what people are already nicely and respectfully discussing and instead opts to bring up something completely unrelated for seemingly little rhyme or reason, well I can understand the annoyance. So why would I ever feel the need to call a Mod to reprimand someone. In this section we all speak our minds to each other and its seems to work? Actually, there isn't anything in the forum rules that says anything about having to stay on topic. There is this one, though: "Harassment: We ask that the users of this board treat one another with respect, even when opinions differ. Personal attacks that are intended to cause unwanted attention, embarrassment, or harm will not be tolerated." ...but who am I kidding? The "stay on topic" rule, which doesn't even exist in the actual rules, is enforced more often here than the one I just quoted. Barti you funny, you quite cheeky. But what people don't seem to be aware of is over the last 10 years certain Western countries have devised very effective information gathering techniques around the activities of many of these Islamic groups So when the UK and USA initially mentioned they believed the plane was destroyed by ISIS it wasn't because they wanted to undermine Russia by exaggerating there body count because of there new role in Syria..no it was said because they had information I feel sorry for Putin because he also would have assumed he could rely on the Egyptian security measures at the airport because obviously the current Egyptian government is involved in its own war with ISIS. But sadly this Russian tragedy is really just a reminder that there is little chance that fighting ISIS won't result in real civilian loss. Thats what the West has had to deal with 14 years Of course what makes this more sad is the victims, basically Russian holiday makers and 25 children....I was watching a documentary on them and you see this little Russian child standing at the airport. They would have been told by Russian authorities " its fine to go on holiday to Egypt " because Putin wouldn't have wanted the average Russian citizen to think that there involvement in Syria would mean significant changes to there lifestyles .... Well that's now over and the Russians have had there baptism of fire in the ME......

Orog what you going through is not uncommon and can happen to anyone at anytime ...sometimes something sets it off, like the failure of a particular task but end of the day the result is same. We start questioning or accepting certain limitations that are part of our lives and this can be a little depressing as we see this as a failure instead of a lesson So look at some realistic objectives and also spend time around people less fortunate than yourself, thats always a good way to realize things could be worse
