  1. Okay but where did you get the number of 1400 from...Muslim rape gangs in the UK? I have never heard of such a term...do you have links ? But I do agree sometimes in its attempts to be inclusive the EU can make mistakes . http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-28939089 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3437252/Twelve-men-repeatedly-gang-raped-abused-vulnerable-teenage-schoolgirl-saw-utterly-worthless-jailed-total-140-YEARS.html Well played by the way, I remember the whole Rotherham disgrace....its those types of reprehensible events that really annoy me Oerwinde are you worried about the future as far as extremism is concerned ? If I might interject; I'm finding extremist as the only viable solution as I often see moderates and reasonable people not taking a stand or not being driven enough to actually make a difference. As I wish change and for these kinds of events to stop I believe extremism to be a good option at least until the pendulum swings the other way entirely and we are back to a repressive state. But I try not to think too much of the cyclical nature of humanity as i'm not patient or kind enough to tolerate it, so I just feel contempt for all of it and I don't like that. You are always welcome to interject Do you mind going into more detail, what change do you want and do you want a repressive state? I don't want a repressive state but I just see as an inevitable outcome since people can't seem (at least on the first world) to know when to draw the line and stop their politicking. So lest I fall into the trap of cynicism and begin to think of ways to ruin humanity I choose to wash my hand from the whole affair and leave it to pompous internet warriors who believe that their ramblings are going to change the world. Well you have insights that many others may not have due to your connection to Cuba so your opinion is always interesting
  2. http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/racistrant-woman-caught-on-video-2035782 Guys here is ANOTHER display of appalling racism from a white South African...and you wonder why I want to see real punitive legal measures against this small percentage of racist and ignorant white South Africans Here is the video http://www.enca.com/south-africa/womans-racist-rant-caught-on-film
  3. As usual Putin is completely wrong with his assessment of what motivates Western countries You see his view also highlights how different Russia and the West are, Putin thinks this is what Cameron wants ...he cant understand a political reality where its the actual UK citizens who want this vote He thinks this is driven all from Cameron which is what any authoritarian would assume

  5. The elected Republicans do favor it because it's a lot of money to business interests but it's unemployment to the rank and file GOP voter. There is an old saying about riding a tiger. It's a lesson the GOP has never learned. Guys what is the issue with this trade deal from your perspectives?
  6. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/06/17/sport/russia-doping-iaaf/index.html The entire Russian athletics team has been banned from the Rio Olympics due to the egregious and state sponsored doping....I feel bad for the athletes who dont dope but sometimes these things have to happen

  8. Wow, thats a new low..someone finding this funny I dont buy the whole " coping mechanism " because the attack happened in the USA and not the UK
  9. How long must one dunk their own head in a toilet and keep it there to be this unaware of how the world works...? Dont be hard on yourself LK....most people never take introspective looks at themselves and identify ways they can improve

  11. Somehow I doubt the veracity of this claim. I dont only doubt I reject it with complete contempt , the suggestion that the FBI is either ineffective or indifferent is just right wing hubris ....no substance to it Its happened in Europe, why can't it happen in the US? In Europe? What do you mean...what organisation is like the FBI in Europe He's saying there are law enforcement agencies in Europe that ignored something because muh religion of peace. Granted in this case it seems this guy bought ammunition fairly regularly(IIRC) and buying more wouldn't have set of any more red flags than normal. If you want the FBI to investigate every instance of persons of interest buying ammo, that would require a huge amount of man power and I don't want a visit from the party van every time I buy guns or ammunition. Okay, I see what he means But its a bit unfair to compare Europe to the USA, there is no equivalent to the FBI in Europe and the EU has to balance security with the reality of its borders So who would you blame in the EU for the various failures in security? Each country has its own way of ensuring there are no terrorist attacks

  13. You never heard me say such a thing. Thats true but you do agree there is a degree of distrust towards certain US government programs from many people Whats the happy medium GD, so for example how would we convince people the real threat to the US can be prevented by the likes of Prism so how do you accept it and at the same time not think the government has questionable motives for these types of initiatives ?
  14. WOD do you think if Trump was president institutions like the FBI would become more effective ? I find myself sometimes surprised by what you guys want from your governments. For example the NSA gets vilified for developing a system like Prism but yet people feel the government doesn't do enough to prevent terrorism ?
  15. I appreciate your concern but dont believe the fear mongering, I dont want the UK to leave but its not as serious as it may seem Lets say the UK does leave, we will see 12-18 months of economic instability but then things will stabilize. The UK will still be part of NATO and it will negotiate new trade deals. The EU will persevere but it will obviously miss the UK substantial financial contribution but it will survive Which foreign powers concern you ?

  17. I heard on Sky from certain commentators that the UK fishing industry has been decimated or rather severely impacted by the EU and there rules but reading this article now I'm not sure if you see what Greenpeace and Geldof have to say the issue seems to lie in the UK?
  18. I presume he means that any indictment would be politically blocked. Get the federal prosecutor to decline to prosecute? Say that the emails are inadmissable since they were obtained illegally? Claim any incriminating emails were planted by hackers? I'm sure they could come up with something. You'd kind of hope that even a recommendation to indict would kill off a presidential candidates chances, so maybe something prior to recommending an indictment... There are certainly plenty of people who'd happily spike the investigation for political reasons. In any case, not like Wikileaks has actually released anything yet. Except chemtrails, I hear reliably they're up to their necks in that little attempt to mass medicate the world clandestinely. Why else would Assange spend all his time inside, hmm? Unless he was trying to avoid the chemtrails! Quod erat demonstrandum. Who knows? Sometimes we all fall into the trap of thinking that all parties involved are acting upon the objectively most optimal, sound or most rational model and make such decisions thereafter....which in fact doesn't happen so often. Guys please dont think Assange and his Wikileaks actually offer credible evidence that governments act on The USA really doesn't base foreign and domestic policy decisions on what Assange thinks or says, in fact waiting for Assange to " drop " the next Wikileaks bombshell is inconsequential to most people except for people on forums who love conspiracy theories
  19. She has died, terrible incident
  20. ...and there we have it. The solution is not for banning guns or more survaillence. Rather, it's about Islam accepting the gay. They are clearly not inclusive enough and we as society need to focus on the toxic masculinity which is spread in their mosques. Homosexuality is rejected by the Muslim world, they must be the most intolerant religion as far as homosexuality is concerned In the ME many countries have the death penalty for anyone found to be gay If this guy was indeed gay he would have been in this permanent state of confusion and he would have been conflicted. Sadly when certain people refuse to accept who they are as far as sexual orientation is concerned they sometimes resort to violence as a way to somehow deal with the frustration of not being able to be themselves I have seen this before, sometimes the worst bigots end up being gay themselves
  21. Wow ...that dad sounds like a positive influence
  22. Barti you funny Barti when new information comes our way we tend to rethink ideas or maybe change our views
  23. Volo thats an unfair and unreasonable characterization of my motives Why would you think I dislike my own gender? I just dont believe men are victims in society So when you're robbed at gun point, the law shouldn't prosecute because as a man you can't be a victim? You cheeky, I have a good mind to put you over my knee and give you a good spanking
  24. ^Ladies and gents, Poe's law in action. You think? His answer seems reasonable and rationale ? As long as you imagine programmers to be omnicompetent and faultless, sure. But any computer system's only ever going to be as good as the guy who made it, and false positives (not to mention false negatives) are pretty much inevitable even if you imagine that it works only with the tiniest rates of error because of how unimaginably huge is the amount of information it has to chew through. Sure, those are all valid issues with computer systems But Prism is much more than that, of course its architecture is classified but Snowden released some details I have asked people I know who work in the US what they know about it and I got some mixed feedback So apparently Prism is a rack of super-computers and it really has the capacity to analyze all required domestic data in the USA but it has modular targeting of data so you would select email, social media etc. The analysis would take time and you would need to find a data signature but it can be used more effectively internally if the US citizens stopped vilifying it
