Coronavirus : Country readiness
South Africa goes into " full lock-down" on Thursday, I am preparing myself for doing my own housework and seeing what customer work I can do remotely, obviously I will be following the rules of self-isolation. Only essential services will be open like other countries, lets just keep everyone updated as we see things unfold in our respective regions

Coronavirus : Country readiness
Okay so far South Africa we have started getting the ball rolling in doing as much as is reasonably possible around our correct country response Weekly updates from government based on proven, global information on the Virus from the likes of WHO and CDC Daily discussions across the media on correct virus prevention and general understandings of how the virus works We have established a quarantine center for anyone who comes back from countries like China We have passed legislation that will allow us to prosecute anyone who is openly dismissive of the virus and refuses to adhere to best practice

Hi Guys Do our American members know who you going to vote for? Can you guys share so we can discuss any considerations I remember one of the times I asked this and most people said there vote was confidential but I am hoping after the tumultuous last few years we have all had I am sure this wont be a problem....I feel closer to you guys now and something like a possible vote should be a easy discussion

This is a very controversial but relevant point, should any public service work be allowed and or staff be exposed to the virus without the correct protective gear? The Chinese didnt care and sent thousands of there public sector employees into provinces that had the virus....Im divided and ambiguous about this one. I do think certain public sector staff must still do there job even without protective gear, this virus has a low mortality rate and certain processes and work still needs to be done . So the general work that security forces and health professionals do must continue 🤔

Coronavirus : Country readiness
This is a realistic but concerning post because I think most states are going to go the same way if we look at Italy and South Korea

Coronavirus : Country readiness
They will definitely have a vaccine for this going forward but we didnt create it , its an evolution of an animal virus which is now in human form

I am really enjoying your honesty and views, you can be sometimes difficult to understand which is why I generally ask you directly or use links so you can see what I am saying is based on real facts and or a " real " story ( sometimes the link can be wrong which is rare but it can happen ) ...but you make me laugh

Dont be a hater, in life I learnt that we shouldnt use the lowest possible common denominator of the implementation of something to judge future iterations and models ...lets be positive

Baldur's Gate 3 - the 2nd thread
Nah, not really. You see you are correct that we have had this debate many times but its the same debate around what we define as " important RPG components " that come up all the time like " number of races\classes, spells usage, crafting, instra-travel restrictions " ....the list goes on and on in many debates. Romance will never go away as an optional extra because for Romancers it adds to an important and realistic component to interaction with your party members. I like interacting and getting to know my party members, its part of my RP experience and I want to be able to Romance them if I want to ....nothing unusual about that ? So when we all finally agree that Romance should be a optional player choice but mandatory component in all RPG,that have party based interaction , only then will the debate end 💕

Baldur's Gate 3 - the 2nd thread
I am very excited about BG3, BG2 ToB is my favorite RPG of all time so this game is going to be a definite purchase for me Do we know if there will be Romance, there should be if Larian Studios wants to be true to original general themes of previous games. My concern is Larian Studios is not known for Romance so I am not sure how immersive and worthwhile any Romance arcs would be ?

I am sure you are joking about the USA creating this virus, we already know where its genesis is and what created it It exists and spread to humans from an animal form of the virus and was created due to the exotic and wild animals that some Chinese eat and comes from there wildlife markets which the Chinese government has now outlawed and made trading in exotic animals as illegal.....finally, well done Chine https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/2020/01/china-bans-wildlife-trade-after-coronavirus-outbreak/ I hope Ktchong is okay, I assume he eats exotic animals in sympathy and support of China

Politics XXXIV (Politics never changes)
We all make predictions or have views based on real, historical and anecdotal evidence so it would be normal to assume " a Trump presidency wont be so bad ", also it hasnt been all bad especially around the economic output But I do think a Biden presidency will be fine and an overall improvement for the status of the USA if you compare Biden to Trump

Lets not blame the banks for people not taking responsibility for unnecessary credit and not understanding how a loan works, its insulting to the intelligence to the millions of people who do understand these things and use sometimes but pay them off correctly It would be like not accepting austerity years ago in the EU zone when you nowadays see how well a country like...oh I dont know, lets say Spain is doing....oh wait

The TV and Streaming thread renewed
I have just finished the latest season of American Gods and it was excellent, 8/10 I'm confused about some of the aspects of the plot but I will look that up and do some research
