Elerond !!! Stop spreading gossip and misinformation....remember we dont do that in the interests of robust debate Provide links to support your understanding so we can review your point

It would be considered unethical behavior but what you can do is wait for Witcher to be on Netflix and then join for the free month to stream it and any other series But as Hurlshot mentioned its well worth just paying the $10
-
But surly its not unreasonable to adhere to the general themes and tropes of fantasy in a universe like the Witcher in the interests of " fantasy realism" ? Dryads and sirens should be hot fairy like creatures who can seduce men....surly ? I would also approve it if I was the creator and was offered a fat paycheck by HBO to develop the series ....Im sure you can understand reasonable criticism about how certain things in the Witcher universe need to be portrayed by fans Im still very excited about the series...Im just saying

I have seen that movie and its very funny for the time it was made, I didnt realize it was from there

Thats a good video, very interesting, The man in that film belongs to a specific ethnic group in Southern Africa called the Khoisan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khoisan The Khoisan are often referred to as the " First people " because they were the original inhabitants of certain parts of Southern Africa before the black\Bantu tribes migrated south from central Africa. They are not technically black, they are there own race with there own culture, language and history .This becomes an interesting historical debate because some Khoisan argue that they should be recognized as the original inhabitants of South Africa and they should have land given to them or rather land reform to include them as its was stolen by both white Colonists and certain black tribes ....things are never boring in SA

I have no idea, the truth is Im not really an outdoor camping bush person so I have very limited knowledge of animal behavior . I like mountain camping and beach holidays

Guys if you have an interest in animals and conservation here is a heart warming and true story. The man in this story, Laurence Anthony, is a family friend. We grew up with his kids and he had a business with my dad until they had irreconcilable differences and parted ways but most of my family remained friends with his family and him He also was the South African who traveled to Iraq in 2003 to help animals in the Baghdad zoo who had been displaced by the Iraq invasion https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/9131585/Lawrence-Anthony.html I didn't know about the Elephant whisperer story until today when my stepmom sent us the video

Imagine how exciting its going to be as they develop each book into a different season or at least align the seasons on the general themes in the books. I have to be honest I havent read any of the books but the PC RPG are some of my favorite RPG I have ever played, especially the last one. I spent about 350 hours on W3 so I am familiar with the Witcher universe Also I imagine they will use degrees of artistic license but the good news is unlike the GOT TV series, which I also loved but the books were better IMO, there are so many subplots and brilliant ideas in the Witcher universe they can literally make many, many seasons and be allowed degrees of latitude in there interpretation without being heavily criticized understandably by upset fans...so I guess what I mean is the Witcher doesn't necessarily have the same ardent and large fan base which is a good thing in certain things Finally I must read the books, I thought they were only in Polish but you can get them in English

But it does it have things in it that really matter around the overall plot and emotional narrative ...like hot women in bikini chainmail

Gorthfuscious why are you a hater of a modern and better world, we cant live in the old and benighted times of the past...think about the convenient, amazing new things we have due to thinks evolving?' I am very close to perfecting my ability to traverse the time stream with someone else so until then you not allowed to play the classic " things were better when I was younger " card
-
No, I dont think that is accurate His latest antics are a distraction but I haven't heard anyone suggest he raped underage girls. This is about the Mueller report and just solidifying support with his base
-
I think the series looks excellent, that trailer was brilliant. I am super, super and ....extra super excited for the release of The Witcher

Interesting enough I have also been told to " go back to Europe " because Im white and therefore Im automatically a colonialist and I dont belong in Africa but there is context and nuance to this Firstly no one has told me that to my face, this is comments I have heard sometimes and from small groups of people in the media and on talk shows. I have never taken it seriously or even become upset about it because its so ridiculous and irrelevant. But its still said So typically the debate in SA around this is about " can white people call themselves African" and its always non-white people having this debate. My response to this if I participated in the debate would be I dont refer to myself as an African, I am a South African What defines citizenship and identity is basically 2 things, what does your ID say and who do you identify with. In other words do you consider yourself to be a citizen and are you legally a citizen. Other peoples opinions on this should become inconsequential because for me I was born in SA and I am a citizen So Shady Im not suggesting my own experience on being told " go home " is the same as yours but I have also faced similar comments from small groups of so called activists and historical commentators

https://www.tellerreport.com/business/2019-07-16---a-9000-year-old-village-discovered-near-jerusalem-.H17iDLi-r.html An ancient 9000 year old village discovered near Jerusalem, really interesting as it has evidence of these early civilizations being much more advanced than we thought. Archaeologists are ecstatic Here is another link that discusses more interesting details about what is new about this find https://infinityexplorers.com/9000-years-old-town-in-jerusalem-discovered-by-archaeologists I wonder if " white male privilege " was used back in those days ?

https://fareedzakaria.com/columns/2019/7/18/the-cancerous-consensus-in-todays-politicized-washington Interesting read from the erudite Fareed Zakaria, in this article he makes the case the USA defense budget is out of control and needs to be reigned on..I'm not sure I agree with this as its good to spend money on important institutions like the military in any Democracy that has good intentions for a better world

Not really, its a probing question because its unclear what you are suggesting. I am also interested in what think are better ways forward than negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia?

Skarpie, I hear what you saying but the USA legal system definitely use to have a seriously well meaning but unbalanced and problematic way of enforcing real jail time and trying to enforce drug control I wont post links but in summary , people could be sent to jail for possession of cannabis. African american communities would be at times specifically targeted in the interests of arrest quotas in certain places , yes the police were doing there job but you cant think possession of cannabis means jail time. So in other words someone who is simply smoking weed gets sent to jail where they probably will end up becoming a serious criminal Its not effective and its not fair. We not suggesting hard core criminals get a pass but you only make things worse when you end up creating criminals for someone using cannabis, thats one reason why legalization of cannabis is so common nowadays. I hope this makes sense

I watched Borat late night again, the first time I watched it was when it was first released in 2006. It must be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen because now I understand the parody and various tropes he highlights as the fictional character " Borat " His interview with the feminists and the speech at the Virginia rodeo was hilarious, I was reading up how many people tried to sue him and the production company after the movie was made but almost all cases were dismissed. I almost loved his constant and intentionally fabricated " ism's " , you name it he demonstrated it, and how people responded Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius and the movie is a must watch if you havent seen it

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-49053383 More provocative actions from Iran as it seizes a UK tanker for unnecessary reasons....Iran doesnt seem to understand its precarious reality in any military conflict

Its not and it never has been, Sarex and some other Serbs have never accepted any responsibility for there countries war crimes in the conflicts in the Balkans . He will tell you that Serbs have been unfairly targeted but they weren't. Both the Croats and the Bosniaks have citizens also facing war crimes but Serbia does have the most people at the Hague because proportionately they committed the most war crimes. This should be something that people just accept as a bad time in there countries history and move on, its not a negative reflection on Serbia nowadays but trying to deny history is unhelpful https://www.juridipedia.com/NL/The-Hague/213571248658853/International-Criminal-Tribunal-for-the-former-Yugoslavia---ICTY https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Criminal_Tribunal_for_the_former_Yugoslavia It reminds me of criticism from certain African dictators and leaders who committed egregious war crimes and human rights abuses and now undermine the ICC and claim " its a Western tool to prosecute African leaders " when in fact it provides a way to prosecute people who cant be charged in certain African countries because these countries simply dont have the institutions or resources to effectively do it

But GD you seeing this in binary choices and its not, Biden for example is not extreme left.....you could vote for him considering the alternatives?
-
Friedman is often on CNN where he is one of my favorite, insightful and logical political commentators. He also offers very honest and critical views on Netanyahu and has written several books I agree with most of what he says as usual but not his view on Biden as I still believe he will come out as the final and most reasonable Democratic candidate in 2020

This post made me laugh, I agree. In some debates and in some public forums " it becomes a race to race to see who can....play the race card " ...now that is an example of tautology for those who have wondered when that word can be used appropriately

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-says-progressive-congresswomen-should-go-back-where-they-came-n1029676 Im sure most people are aware of this latest Trump story where he said 4 congresswomen must " go back where they came from " My question is do you think its racist? I am not sure, its uninformed, unnecessary and offensive but I'm unclear if its racist. I also think its typical Trump strategy to create a distraction so the Democrats and his base can focus on that so other major events get less attention...like Mueller testifying tomorrow Another reason Im unclear about whether its racist is because of the general playing of the race card I see nowadays as an immediate response to certain comments so unless its blatant or usage of derogatory words I prefer to wait and see the outcomes. CNN is calling it as definitely racist but they dont always get everything 100 % right in the sense sometimes there commentators all have the same opinion of a particular topic, so you wont always get a balanced view. This is normal with most international news channel
