But he didnt, he failed to undermine and erode the core foundation of the US Democratic system by somehow staying in power and ignoring the Biden win So its not necessary to overact to this EU proposal, lets see how its implemented and what impact it has and then we can heavily criticize it....deal ? Interesting link by the way -

GD Americans disliked the UK Monarchy and UK leadership so much they even went to war to ensure independence but why are so many Americans so interested in news and updates about the UK Monarchy...like this Harry and Megan scandal ? That is your former Colonial power and 50 % of Americans interviewed on various US news channels actually wanted more news on the British Monarchy....not less ???? -

Okay, I understand your concern Dont worry technology and things like facial recognition software has been improved and is vastly more advanced than the era of the Cold War so that is good news Also I am sure during the Cold War monitoring and surveillance in places like the USSR was literally about controlling of freedom of speech and making sure people didn't speak out against the state. Also during most of the Cold War the Internet and most digital communications didnt exist. The www was only invented in 1990 And this is not the same as trying to control or restrict peoples views on any topic, so its not the same as the Cold War This is about reducing the amount of Child Porn that is prevalent and spread on the Internet and other forms of digital communication -

Has this system been implemented before, you seem to know a lot about all its shortfalls and failures? -

You may be right, I may be too trusting of governments and the advantages of Internet surveillance and monitoring But I just battle to believe legitimate Child Porn monitoring means victims of abuse now will somehow not have a voice or be potentially prosecuted This is the EU after all, its not some banana republic or Russia or China where they do monitor and arrest people for many things they say on the Internet -
Great news, I have played all 4 Gothic games and their various expansions ( 4 was a disappointment but I did finish it ) and all Risen games and I loved them I hope we get new quests or something new because I remember the narrative of Gothic 1 and I am not sure I will play it again as it would lack excitement
-
People like that need to be prosecuted, I definitely dont support wealthy people using their money to bypass normal vaccine allocation or the same people thinking they above the same virus regulations we all have to adhere to. We have seen several politicians in SA thinking they above the rules and its very irritating and they should have been fired immediately

You know me well, I would be absolutely furious and very concerned if they denied me my weed and strip clubs But neither of those has anything to do with Drone strikes or EU attempts to reduce Internet child porn, sorry -

Nah, thats a very cynical view to have and overcomplicates something very simple Its easy to read or scan an email and know the difference between someone talking about abuse or sharing a lived experience of being abused and people talking about wanting to have sex with children I am surprised you guys think its so complicated ? I think your objections and issues with this legislation is really about a perceived invasion and erosion of your EU rights. But its not, its about slowing down the scourge of child porn that exists on the Internet -

No, I am in favor of the Internet not being used to disseminate child porn That has nothing to do with necessary drone strikes, I dont see the parallels at all ? -

How would the scanning of email, and other electronic communication, for child porn lead to abuse victims not being able to digitally communicate ? Yes their may be some " false positives " but the two conversations would be very different and could easily he separated by anyone with just a little training I support the complete eradication of child porn from the Internet and Dark Web so I think this legislation makes sense. I am not sure it will succeed in its objective because real child porn communication occurs primarily on the Dark Web and this wont stop that -
And I see you have SA variant, nasty. It spreads quickly but isnt more deadly We have been able to slow our daily infection rate from 16k/day to about 200/day as of yesterday and since we lack the adequate resources and vaccines in our public healthcare that has been from literally the " normal " virus best practice which is always the same primary steps Always wear your mask in public but we allow people to take them off in restaurants Avoid crowded social functions like clubs, bars, funerals and weddings ( personally I think this is the worst virus spread vector ) Practice social distancing where reasonable I never told you but last year before the global lockdown my entire SA family ( about 20 people counting the kids )went skiing in Lech with about 12 members of my UK family. Everyone flew first to London from about 29 Dec-1 Jan 2019 and then everyone made their own way to Lech from about 4 Jan-15 Jan 2020 which is when everyone went home. I didn't go because I had just started my new job in Cpt and I couldn't take leave. Anyway what no one knew is that time period was when the virus was already slowly spreading in Europe but asymptomatically, so people didnt know they had the virus Anyway SA " first " official case was on 1 March and it was from a family who went skiing in Italy but actually the virus was already in SA due to asymptomatic carriers. It made me laugh because in SA some people play the race card over everything and anything and their were honestly some initial comments on talk shows from some people who said " this virus only effects rich, white people who go skiing in Italy, black people dont have to worry " ( how biased because most South Africans actually go to Austria and what if you snowboard ) Luckily my family were just ahead of the real spread in Europe so no one initially got the virus from that ski holiday but the point I want to make is how skiing holidays are real virus spread vectors. You think of the large breakfasts and eating lunches in those crowded mountain restaurants and then all the fun with drinks after skiing in crowded bars So in other words, skiing tourism definitely isnt a good idea when the virus is spreading exponentially I am very sorry for Austria because all you were trying to do is sustain your economy which we all trying to do. But it was bad idea and now you dealing with the virus mutations and a spread of the virus But how are things now, I see the article you posted is 1 month old ? https://www.thelocal.at/20210215/austria-how-did-the-south-african-coronavirus-mutation-come-to-tyrol/

You predicted this, you said their was a rush to open the ski-industry for tourism purposes and the Chancellor and also been criticized for mishandling things

Well I think this something that we probably agree on if I understand you correctly, I dont think Romance is as important as other mechanics like normal party interaction, quests, lore, combat and interesting towns and dungeons to explore But if you are going to include Romance then it needs to be done normally without genderless characters or bisexual party members you cannot Romance

Free market economies and privatization definitely doesnt mean the poor will necessarily suffer, you will still have labor laws and regulations that ensure the rights of unions and general workers rights It will lead to your economy becoming stronger but I am not sure why Sweden would want to make such sweeping changes because your economy is already strong under the current hybrid socialist\capitalist models that exist in the Nordic countries So for example its not like you have real inequality so why change the economic fundamentals ? -
Thats a strawman argument, of course their will be lots of fantasy in the RPG. Thats to be expected but its not the same as saying " we should have genderless characters to improve Romance arcs " Ask anyone who enjoys Romance if they would be happy with that and I am sure the response will be a resounding " no " Optional Romance can only improve a RPG and we should be expecting it in the interests of realism and immersion when it comes to how you interact with your party members in any party based RPG
-
Thats another terrible idea, do you participate in Romance in your RPG journey? Because Romance like most other RPG mechanics requires you to identify, and have reasonable degrees of realism, with what you doing...hence the words " RP ". For example I wouldnt want to play an RPG like BG 3 as an earthworm So as a heterosexuals, male I dont want to be genderless because of how unrealistic and meaningless that would make Romance arcs...so no, terrible idea

Weekend beckons which means its the ideal time for me to treat myself to a nice, "unhealthy ", hybrid English Breakfast. As I mentioned in the past I always add different accompaniments to the standard English Breakfast. Today I am having fried eggs, bacon, toast, fried banana and fried tomato ....damn their seem to be preponderance of the word " fried "

What an informative link, I never knew that at all around the origins of the game Nice one, I am going to share that with some of my family who work for UK banks and we sometimes joke about things like monopoly and its relevance
-
What !!!! Shady I am shocked you would support a game that is steeped in Capitalist ideology and supports the financial system which leads to inequality.....how do you sleep at night??

Neo-Nazis are mostly former Democrats? Do you have examples of this because that is the first time I have heard that ? I am not saying you wrong, I would just like some links to corroborate that opinion? -

Valid point and accurate historical precedent matters around many debates we have nowadays But the world has changed a lot since the era of the Versailles Treaty and how Europeans voted and felt about their governments post-WW1 So for example when you look at the voting demographics and see exactly which groups of people voted for Trump its not the same reasons as why Mussolini or Hitler came to power -

I dont think its helpful to malign millions of US citizens and question their level of intelligence when it comes to "why would you vote for Trump ". I can give you several reasons why a vote for Trump makes sense for some but I am concerned with a world where people become obsessed with a person in politics and make them into some sort of "cult personality " They end up supporting the person irrespective of anything the person says or does and in the case of Trump some of his base decided only his views are true and they seem to ignore all forms of the media unless its Trump or right wing channels like FOX So you end up with a reality where people make voting decisions but its not based on being well informed about the actual policies or the persons real behavior . That worries me ? -

The thing is Trump did deliver on some real historical Republican objectives like the SC placements and tax breaks So I would imagine from a GOP popularity perspective and Republican voters he did do a good job and he did deliver on certain things But how his presidency ended with the Capitol violence was enough to put me permanently off ever wanting another 4 years of Trump....nothing is worth him refusing to accept the results of the 2020 election and also how he handled the pandemic in the USA
