  1. Finished my playthrough. Unfortunately it seems that even if you find the spy in the Followers their ending is still bugged. Started Fallout 2 with the Restoration Pack 2.0. I will probably build an altar dedicated to Killap.
  2. If true, too bad, he seemed a nice and generally helpful guy (even with all the damn NDA ).
  3. You haven't played the game but you already know about the bugs? Wow.
  4. I don't know.. it's true that it can be exploited, but what's the point? It's not like playing in Hardcore mode gives you any benefit, and switching it during your playthrough gives you the possibility of testing it and deciding if you like it or not without having to replay from the beginning if you find the game too easy/too hard.
  5. On the Beth's forums the community manager (uhm, I think he's the community manager) said it has nothing to do with their games. So yeah.
  6. You just made me happy sir.
  7. IIRC one playthrough should be around 20-30 hours. It's a game tailored around replay value not length, as far as I understand Obsidian's intent.
  8. ....Glad my lack of money spared me doing the beta-test for Bioware.
  9. Fallout with unofficial TeamX Patch and a restoration mod that adds back the spy in the Followers of the Apocalypse. Sweet.
  10. Still haven't bought and played the expansion but on my PC the memory leak with the OC were never THAT bad. Sometimes after 2/3 hours the loading times would become Witcher-like () but that was it. ....... So you're telling me they managed to make it worse with the expansion?
  11. However, the scene we were shown didn't fully convince me that these lofty goals will come to fruition. Sure, the scene happened in two completely different ways, but they still both happened in the same place, at the same time, with the same people. It's a remarkable achievement in many ways, but it only puts it on par with other games with branching narrative released months before it. Aehm, so, when the girl is pissed off Mike should meet her in another place for no reason whatsoever?
  12. You know your sign is wrong.. right?
  13. TBH I agree that the game looks a bit generic, but that's true for a lot of other blockbuster games also, Dragon Age for example, so it's not that big of a deal.
  14. A person's title does not automatically reflect their influence on the project or team. This is especially true in the game industry, where titles change from company to company. Should I interpret this answer as a simple clarification or as a thinly veiled 'that guy is SO full of ****' ?
  15. ......... You know the date, right?
  16. Whoa man calm down, they just postponed the game to 2011, but hey, look at the bright side, they're scrapping that ugly-looking UE3 engine and using their brand-new Onyx technology! Not mentioning the fact that now you'll have the possibility of customising your Michael or should I say customising your Michelle? REALLY PROMISING!
  17. The fact that you can beat bosses with different approaches is definitely a plus in my book. Also it seems that they were interested in co-op since the beginning but scrapped it for, I guess, time constraints.
  18. Does she know? That he's screwing her or that she's a gamer chick?
  19. TBH, scrapping KOTOR combat system for a more action-y one would be quite the good choice. KOTOR combat was easy, incredibly broken and boring to watch, its only redeeming quality was that spamming force lightning made you feel like a badass jedi.
  20. Probably a bit of wishful thinking.
  21. As long as you buy the PC version I think it should be pretty easy to mod it out, but since I don't really now how UE-powered games are modded I could very well be wrong. It doesn't bother me anyway.
  22. TBH pre-production wasn't exactly what I was thinking when I heard Obsidian's working on a new unannounced project, not to mention that they're hiring and the website quite clearly mentions a 'top secret project'. Anyway, I'd be happy with Alpha Protocol 2 too (Beta Protocol?) as long as they can manage to expand the social/stealth gameplay and keep the same reactivity (assuming what has been promised untill now is true for AP1 ofc).
  23. As far as I understand from the information available on The Witcher's forums, a programmer actually said they had to redo the faces from scratch from 2 reasons : 1) the new facial animation system 2) they didn't seem good enough compared to the more proportioned new characters' faces. Also, they're not final, Geralt face's textures are pretty much a placeholder and they're still thinking about giving the possibility of changin' Geralt's hairdo. This is what the developers are striving for when designing Geralt's in-game face.
  24. Uhm I don't think it's AP2, the pre-orders don't really seem to justify working on a sequel before the first comes out. I hope it's actually a totally new IP.
