My bad, you were talking about disengagement attack and I talked about break engagement only. When I use it, I got wounds for Parting Sorrow. It breaks engagement, but doesn’t trigger disengagement attack. Or I may just confused it all and be wrong.

The monk’s Force of Anguish triggers disengagement when knock back, maybe it works the same

Talking about Druid MC, is there any viable solo Druid/Priest idea?

For me, Dance of Death is useful only if you are a ranged Helwalker.

For me is pointless to do a melee sorcerer and don’t use spiritshift. The Druid doesn’t have any martial ability that worths this combination.

I started a solo run with a shifter/BM, it’s a great combo. If you want to go melee, you can cast your Wizard buffs, and then shift. As a shifter, you can shift 5 times per fight, so even if you still didn’t get Wall of Draining it’s a good time. And there is no penalty if you don’t shift. If you want to cast spells while shifted, take a look at the Thundercat build

Played a bit with this Tempest, and I don’t know what I think for sure. It’s a good build, cleared the digsite without problem, but I think he can’t be a main tank. Tomorrow I will play more and see how it performs.

I will try a Furyshaper/Shifter. I guess will be better low a bit RES instead CON to put more points into MIG. DEX with the ward and frenzy buffs I guess won’t be a problem.

Thanks for the good answers as always. The fighter was my first choice mostly because the engagement slots, I am not used to tank in a group an I was afraid of letting go the enemies, the engagement system is a bit confuse to me. I never thought about a barb to do a tank, I will take a look at it. Another class that I am considering is a Stalker.

Some questions: The Animal form doesn’t have good defenses, is worth I max resolve it is better if I put more points into MIG? Since the Fighter has armored grace and is able to reduce the armor recovery time, isn’t wasted the animal form? I mean, there is no advantage in take this combination ? Paladins could be a better choice due to his increased AR like @Boeroer said, but they can’t engage enemies enough to be a main tank.

Hello. I gave a break on the solo run and will try go with the party for now. I did an Unbroken/Shifter because the engagement bonus from the fighter (Unbroken + Stance), and this is the stats: MIG 5. CON 19. DEX 10. PER 15. INT 20. RES 21. Is a pure tank, but able to cast some buffs/debuffs with the Druid before shift. What do you think about it?

I played a bit more with the Shifter Bloodmage. I agree with @Boeroer that he misses more martial abilities, but in the end of the day he is with more pros than cons. It is a very well balanced build, good healing, and offer me the flexibility to choose how I want to deal with the encounters. Question: Spirit Shiels stacks with Woodskin?

True, rogue it’s a good combination. And with all the dots and afflictions, it will be very close to World of Warcraft Feral Druid. Last question (for now): What happens if I vanish while the dots are still actives?

My problem with FF monks is that I always put lots of points in RES to lower the curse duration, and then I have to lower another atributes. In some cases I can do a balanced build, but in this case that Druids needs all atributes I don’t know how to spread them

Some more questions : If I cast Nature’s Terror, and then shift, the spell continues or is canceled? An Assassin/Shifter can shift from stealth? I mean in a solo try. Also talking about solo, if I want to try a monk, is the Helwalker too squishy? Even if combined with Druid HoTs and animal form?

Well, I insisted and played a bit more with Shifter/Bloodmage. It seems an odd combination, but when the pieces are put together, he is being a blast. I am starting fights with Nature’s Mark. Then I am using Large Shield while I buff (Spirit Shield, Fleet Feet, Vital Essence) and the enemies come closer. Then I cast Touch of Rot/Chillfog/Combusting Wounds, and finally shift. I stil can use the Druid healing spells, or if is an emergency I cancel/change form.

Played some hours with a shifter/monk and a shifter/Wizard, but it wasn’t like I expected. I like the Druid offensive spells, and with the shifter I am too much melee oriented. And I really miss the weapon and armor while shifted, I think it’s a fun part of the gane you find a good weapon that combines with your build.

I would pick Ghostheart.There is some good guides in the build list.

Hello everyone , I am playing solo with the Thundercat build from @Not So Clever Hound, and he is really great. Then I had the idea to go with a Bear instead the Cat, to do a more tanky build, but until I got WoD the duration of the shift is too short, and then it’s a bit pointless to lose the cat speed buff , since I can just cast Spirit Shield and have high AR anyway. And if I go with a Shifter? It wouldn’t be a good combination with Wizard because I can’t cast while shifted. If I use the wizards buffs before shift I think it will be a waste of the other spells. Shifter + Rogue? Won’t be able to extend the shift, but I can pass almost entire fight using all shift forms, and have the good damage abilities from rogue Shifter + Barbarian? Able to heal the frenzy’s self damage and good damage from barbarian too Shifter + Paladin? I think the Goldpact buff with the shifter forms and zero recovery would be a great tank, and with all the paladin defense bonus would be a win/win I guess. Don’t know about a solo run with this anyway. Please, give me your thoughts about this, and if anyother class have better synergy . Thanks
