Got talked into checking out the browser game Fallen London. By the same folks who did Sunless Sea. It has that amusing, mildly addictive writing to its gameplay.

I think it might be part of the Legolas effect.

I'm somewhat fuzzy on this I'll admit, but I half recall that there needed to be a parliamentary motion for the referendum to happen. So in a sense, wouldn't that have been the act of parliament for the results of that referendum to be valid if they needed one to hold it?

You have to appreciate how the Australians do it. They never seem to do a fuzzy popular vote. Any referendums they call strictly lay out the legal aspects and are put into law as stated from the get go. The trouble is, neither side on the Brexit vote actually looked at it.

There was a voter turnout of around 76% if I recall... One of the highest voter turn outs for anything in years.

So the best result is going to be Hilary getting elected, and then follow in her husbands route into impeachment so the US gets one of the VP elects running the country?
