  1. Going with that Mild Grunge Nomad look for that 2nd run through....
  2. Merry Wotsits and All. May all a good time and cheer be had.
  3. Interesting the way they handle it with messages left from various characters you met in the game as part of the end credits. Not sure if it was because of dialogue options I'd made, but even though I'd had the Judy romance option and she was with me at the start of Path of Glory, her message was a bittersweet kind of "Dear John" one. Was amused when Goro Takemura started waxing poetical, referring to death poems by samurai before commiting seppuku and then going with the "but I have simple words for you... Go to Hell!"
  4. Well after 96 hours of play, I completed my first game with a Path of Glory ending. I'm like, dang it, that's pretty much a setup for a continuing future DLC. Still, the route there has some nice emotional moments, the making decisions on the rooftop with Silverhand before deciding just what you're going to do was smoothly done.
  5. The Baker - A low key UK film where Damian Lewis hitman Milo is having second thoughts on his career, when his rival Bjorn (Nikilaj Coaster-Waldau) causes trouble and the organisation they both work for decides to terminate Milo. Milo ends up hiding out in a rural Welsh village where his mentor Leo (Michael Gambon) has some secret property. Milo gets mistaken as the new Baker. When the locals accidentally discover his identity, and rumors spread about his profession, and all the petty dislikes and rivalries of the villagers blow up. While Milo remains unaware and is just seeking to start a new life with his freshly discovered love of baking. One of those not quite a comedy, not quite a thriller, with that slightly absurd, darkly wacky UK tone and characters. It gives some smiles, but it doesn't go far enough to be an actual dark comedy, while not tense enough to be a full thriller. If you like that slightly odd sort of film, it's worth the 86 minute run time.

  9. Ran through the drive-in date with Rogue, then meeting the rest of the band in the aftermath. I guess it's kind of quirky that my V is wearing Silverhand's boots, pants, jacket, and shades and none of his old "friends" comment on it. Rogue does comment if you're driving around in his Porsche, so half thought there might be other dialogue, but alas, no.
  10. I believe his quote at the time ran along the lines of "They've added f***ing dragons and elves. I give up."
  11. Although, as I recall Gibson did sue Cyberpunk when the rpg originally came out, so it's not like he thinks fondly of it... Plus he's been making fairly passive aggressive comments on 2077 since the first teaser trailer dropped.
