True Lies has a very fond place in my heart. Arnie taking fun of his own character type, as he'd tried the previous year and not had work out. Although I still think Last Action Hero was ahead of its time.

You did. They made about 8 episodes of the show back in.. I think it was '96-'97 or so? But the main lead died in an accident, so they ended up scrapping the whole thing rather than re-cast. It had a weak pilot episode, but apparently picked up in quality for the few episodes that did get shot and shown.

Avatar was a glorious visual feast. And an incredibly trashy, tropey story mish-mash of white man saviour to the environmentally-friendly, tech-poor savage natives. Hence so many of the "Dancing with Smurfs" variety of comments in the years after. Eh, Honest Trailers pretty much nailed it.
