I started a new game few weeks ago and I found it was very challenging starting out again. Even on mild setting. Very slow with being able to get proper weapons and armor and then having the right items to repair your weapons as they drain fast. I agree the acorns are the best quick food. Definitely make Jerky racks and dew catcher when you can. Near the oak tree there are two lights that come on at night. Harvest your gnats there and you can have jerky for days. Don’t sleep unless you have to. That just drains your hunger and thirst more. Don’t give up yet... this game is fun once you get yourself setup. They are still working the bugs out and always adding new things. The last update I noticed the spider spawn rate doubled. I’m hoping this will get reduced as to me all it does is make people avoid that part of the yard. good luck

Grass seed... I think there are a lot of people who could use some grass seed. Maybe something craftable and not a drop from digging grass up. I would have an inventory full of grass seed if I got it every time I chopped a blade of grass.

Love all these ideas.. except more spiders and snakes A bed or furniture that replenishes your stats instead of draining them would be nice. Otherwise what’s the point of sleeping? I only sleep if it’s too dark to see what I am doing at the time. Pallets that hold more stems or grass.. I like to load up my supply before I do a build. All the pallets setup everywhere just get in the way. nice stem sized pillow for the end of the zipline Devs.. I love that you guys actually listen to your players. A lot of suggestions... Dos or don’ts you see them all. I bet it makes it tough what to add or change. I enjoy seeing the game as it progresses towards completion. It is already a huge place to explore, I can’t wait until the yard is done. I can only imagine the fun you guys are having with all the endless possibilities while creating this great game.

I have not been hunting for them, but I have only found one since the update also.

Just noticed you cannot collect sap from the collector. First person or third. Just gives the option to relocate or recycle. Xbox single player. Reload did not fix. Not sure if anyone else ran into this issue. I am liking that when filling the pallets it says full now and they don’t just drop on top of it

I only used smoothies a few times. I feel the lasting effect of them are not even worth using them. It seems to wear off after one or two trips. Would need an inventory full of smoothies just to get the job done.

some great ideas but holy moly.. You could just go design your own game with some much to change

I actually did restart a multiplayer with my kid about a week ago. I love the game and thought would be a great game for me and my kids to play together. I can’t get them into it and can’t figure out why. I mean how could you not want to play it It reminds me of Bugs Life for Playstation. Another good game I miss.

The lag is also the one that bugs me. I’m very impatient I find myself hitting the button few times thinking it’s my controller. Seems slower moving while moving around in inventory also. Def bug expected. Just wanted to point them out. I’ll still play. I love the idea. Few setbacks with bugs here and there, but as you said it is to be expected. Can’t wait for the full release. I may or may not want to restart.

Found my bow on a blade of grass It was thrown from the platform in the picture.

xbox~~single player~~281 days~~mild •While in inventory food and water is displayed wrong. •game lags when exiting inventory, sometimes when entering. •”Threat detected” is stuck on screen after threat is gone. Reloading fixes this. Happens randomly. •When in inventory, controller is sometimes unresponsive. Can sometimes switch between tabs and it will work again, otherwise reload fixed it. Happens randomly. •Wolf spiders are getting stuck in the Oak tree and rocks. Never seen one of them stuck on anything before. •Diving bell spider chunk in inventory and chests are displayed as a white square. •crafting and workbench armor. “Lower body” and “upper body” need to be swapped. •Noticed a bone icon over my damaged sprig fences. Fixed them and bone was still there. Reload fixed this. •Noticed the big mushrooms were gone by the mysterious machine. The smaller ones around it were still there to be picked. Not sure if removal was intended. •probably not a bug but noticed this few weeks ago when the feathers started respawning. The crow doesn’t come around much anymore or is just very quiet... when I do see him he just sits there now making a few noises then nothing. I liked it when I could hear him across the map so I could find where he was perched. Then I knew where to search for feathers. •Note to self.. disable the throw/huck button. While admiring the new view across the yard I threw my bow over the edge of one of my zipline towers.. never to be seen again I’m sure

They went away after I reloaded the game.

Does anyone know what this bone icon means? The fence was damaged and I repaired it but there is still bone icon. New bug maybe?

Ladders were just added

You can occasionally find drops on the ceiling. I think I seen this in the hedge lab. More clean areas would also be nice.

Mine keep getting stuck in the oak tree roots near the pond. That is the area I see them the most.

Faster would be great. I think they should hold more grass or stems.. Even just for storing. I have them all over the place. Or even sending the whole pallet across the zipline and not have them fly everywhere when they get to the end.

Haha yes that does appear to be another issue.. I have only sent them on a long zipline just to see them go. I never went after them until now and saw them flying everywhere.

You can send weed stems on your zipline..

About 7 days into new game. I needed 1 more fang to craft an insect bow. Almost got one wolf spider and ran out of arrows. Then everyone decided to join the party flinging my arrows everywhere. Over 40 arrows and I was able to collect 15 of them. Could not find the rest by the time one of them killed me. This time going in with 80 arrows and my little sprig bow, also making sure the two are sleeping under the tree. I have never seen 3 wolf spiders together and I have almost 300 days in on my first game.

I think if you completely dig it up it will not grow back. This is the problem I am having. I built grass walkways around the tree for quicker travel and dug up all the close grass which has not grown in weeks. Takes longer now as I have to go further away for grass. Try leaving the stump, it should grow back.

Hmm wait.. I just reread your post. Misunderstood the first time lol. So you have cut the grass, even the stump and it is growing back? They must have changed it. Nothing that I have completely cleared out is coming back. But the stumps regrow. Kind of bummer on mine because I have to go further away to get grass to the oak tree.
