  1. I think it would be cool if the game could track some stats. Like how many wolf spiders killed, Food eaten, food cooked, distance ran or swam, times slept, items crafted, you get the idea.. Just a thought
  2. Hopefully you have it well supported in different areas. Would hate to hear that it came crashing down because your connecting supports to the ground got broken.
  3. I don’t think it will crash from having a high number of supporting. I have had in the 50s before. The only thing that will make it crash is if that supporting floor breaks.. whatever was being supported will all crash down.. add some wood supports under it, it will lessen the load in some areas and also make it less chance of crashing, meaning more supports would have to be broken in order to crash it. Hope this makes sense..
  4. This was a thing. You could use web bouncer and grass walls to jump up the wall. I think they patched it or something because I couldn’t get it to work yesterday.
  5. Hooking ants together and loading them up with planks and stems and then having them follow you would be awesome.
  6. The frustrations are real... I must of built in the perfect spots.. I hardly have anything bother me. Occasional wolf spider will wander from the oak tree but I can hear him making his way over. Avoiding areas that are over populated with spiders unless I’m hunting for them. The hostile insects I feel are usually in the same areas everyday. Minus the wandering wolf spiders. Build high and avoid places you know they spawn. I have only played single player mild and I know it is harder to start a new game today than what it was few months ago. Get good with the bow. Enemies will wander away if you jump on something they can’t get up. Jump up and let them walk away as you’re shooting at them. When you want to lure them back In, jump down to the dirt and then jump back up when they get close and start shooting again. The marksman cap is worth it to craft. I don’t both with all the different armors.. I only have ant armor as I feel I am always hauling something. And then my marksman cap. Mosquitos were spawned in at one of my bases also. It has since been abandoned. Sometimes when they change the game.. you also have to change the way it’s played. I do feel they need more mission type stuff to do instead of the low point burgl missions. The game for me is kinda at a standstill. Afraid to build too much as it could get wiped out in the upcoming updates.
  7. For the ones that know about the grass wall and bounce web elevator thing.. Can someone please try building one and let me know if it works for you or not? I think they may have patched it so you cannot build them anymore. Totally understand if they patched it but it’s kind of a bummer being the ladder is so slow and the acorn stairs make me dizzy when you are going up several levels.
  8. Make sure you are analyzing everything you find. Will help learn new recipes.
  9. You should see a chunk near burgl on the other side of the glass. Opening is not always noticeable. They will respawn every few days. I think there are 3 chunks in there. The cave with the cable and mites is another good spot to dig some up if you didn’t notice it when you first went in there. Don’t forget torches.
  10. I have had problems before with the pesky ants digging in my chests.. Been a long time for that. I just caught this bee digging in a high up chest... Butt in the air pulled out some nectar. Never thought I would see that happening.
  11. I have seen a lot of people saying they have found one or two. I have plenty. so I am not hunting them out but I have seen just a couple since update.
  12. I play single play and also notice the grub exploding. You have to click to collect it immediately after it dies. I noticed when I wait or take too long, that is when it goes everywhere.
  13. Def build a dew collector or canteen when you can. Dew collector also requires 8 quartzite though
  14. I think it is tougher to start out now rather than when I started months ago. You do not need a clay foundation in order to build walls. It does help with uneven areas. As far as the build being half underground, all I can suggest is move it around until you are happy with the height and anything built after should snap to it. Water is random. Some days there is a lot above on the grass and some days they are hard to find. You can find a few pieces of quartzite in the oak tree lab near burgl. I suppose though if you have not ventured the mite cave burgl may not even be a thing yet. Don’t give up. Once you get established the game get a lot easier and you will learn where you should and shouldn’t go. Good luck.
  15. In the map screen if you move down to trail markers you can select to toggle them off and on. Dropped backpack I think is always useful to have active but may be an option they will change later.
  16. There is one I found in the stories spoiler section. 7th post down I think mentions a potato chef
  17. By the mysterious machine are lots of weeds stems to chop up
  18. Some may be months of playing but I think most are in creative or multiplayer. My bases are pretty basic as I play alone. It is very time consuming to build anything. Working on towers for the zip lines right now and its taking quite a while. I can’t imaging building some of these bases people have created. I’ve seen some pretty awesome ideas though.
  19. I think there are other posts about it somewhere on here.
  20. Just an ant hanging out on a dry grass blade. Keeping an eye for those feathers by the mysterious machine I’m sure Liked the colors wanted to share
  21. Do debug option in the start menu see if it helps. It helped mine. They were doing the same thing on the lights and rocks and oak tree.
  22. I mean the hunger and thirst dropping makes sense. I just feel sleeping needs more of a point rather than just making it light again. I guess I could see it dropping some from what you were at, but not totally draining.
