They don't generate focus Stalker's patience very good for souldblade/monk with that extra attacks.

Hey bro, i suggest you to try druid it has very good dot spells, and you can go melee with boar form(Boeroer style) it has a very powerful dot attack too. Also Priest has very good fire based dots but you need to be patient for few levels it feels weak at the start. Have fun!

There is a mod makes Serafen Trickster/Beguiler its perfect. I don't know about Xoti, single class priest is decent enough.

Pistol maybe too hard for solo, i tried hand mortar monk/assassin aoe arterial strike and run around with no engagement armor. They ll die chasing you its very fun :). Use invisibility if you re cornered or something to reset the fight.

Most annoying thing with Nalpazca is arcane dampener... You get lose all your buffs AND get drug crush. Imo its not worth it. If you have good healing support in party go with Helwalker.

You should stay ranged until you get some levels, you can get tidefall with full party around level 8-9 if i remember correctly. Weapon focus soldier covers arquebus, start the combat shooting this will give you much focus to buff up. Resolve dont do you much you may want more constitution from frront lines. Greater focus is not good imho but you can retrain anytime you want. After getting borrowed instinct and time parasite game becomes easy mod.

Ranger/Beguiler with Veilpiercer is what will gonna satisfy you. Backup weapons: You can start with Kitchen Stove thunderous report. Essence intrupter as second weapon very good.

I ll give you a warning before you build around vanishing strike, it may be bugged in community patch. Invisibility brokes after 1 hit. I think its because backstab change(its raw damage with comm). I play with Balance polishing mod now and its works as intended.

Is frenzy speed bonus from that items stacks with captains banquet, swift strikes and daom i wonder?

Also another bug i find: Captain's banquet doeesnt give damage bonus to Tricksters spells. I don't know maybe this is intended.

Hey guys, first of all i use community patch and no other mods. I wanted to try single class trickster, old school dual wield sneaky chracter with some casting(oh boy gaze of the adragan + freezing rake combo very satisfying with the eye of wael+sun and moon power level boost). Anyways my vanishing strikes breaks invisibility after i hit, it shows vanishing strikes duration(8.7 in my build) but when i hit with auto strike or any ability my invisibility immediately breaks. I hope i could explain myself, can anyone test it if its happens to you too. Thanks in advance.

Willbreaker Souldblade/Trickster soo much fun. Very good defence and offence with casting. Modal gives -25 fortitude better accuracy for our disentegration.

In harder difficulties enduring dance is hard to keep up when you re in front lines.

I'm pretty sure crits will give you phrases even they deal no damage. You should try this weapon for instead of rust btw: https://pillarsofeternity2.wiki.fextralife.com/Kapana+Taga gives more accuray with every engaged enemy very useful and 2 damage type.

Well i had a game where i use vanilla bashing shield with Souldblade/trickster using mostly soul annihilation for attacking. It was very fun but overall its very niche.

Well in vanilla only good bash shield is the monk one. To be honest i find the unmodded game is unplayable.

Hi, you can download shield bash fix from nexus mods, its not op shield gets normal weapon scaling(with low base damage).
