  1. Of course they want to come to Mama Merkel. They get all the benefits without the need to adapt and contribute.
  2. Even those generic Brotherhood fetch/kill quests lead me to places with cool backstory and atmosphere. Starting to love the **** out of this game.
  3. Start air dropping bomb-rigged goat fleshlights over the desert from tomorrow on.
  4. Sand to glass.
  5. Preston's comments on environment, locations, your character's actions, etc. are very astute. Far cry from Skyrim (Serana aside).
  6. Of course, the terrorists aren't real muslims.
  7. Supposedly they have bomb girdles.
  8. Gonna have to join Uncle Putin in Syria after all eh?
  9. Shooting unarmed civilians with pump-action shotguns apparently. Disgusting filth.
  10. oh snap
  11. i think the religion of peace might be involved just a hunch
  12. This was a cool moment and unexpected in Bethseda game; even generic fetch/kill quests sometimes have a neat twist
  13. The sarcastic dialogue options are at times hilarious.
  14. Seems the game really is made for power armour. With the armour on all my resistances are over 1,000 but certain enemies still give me tons of damage. I guess without the power armour I would've been oneshotted. Especially with enemies no longer appearing on your compass outside combat it means you can get ambushed very easily.
  15. Does their disposition even matter unless you don't want them to leave? I doubt they have unique quests.
  16. What's interesting is that if you take down raider bosses, rival raider bosses elsewhere will comment on it on their terminals and sometimes even take over a cleared base.
  17. So in prologue you see somebody taking your son, after that you get frozen again. But who's to say when you wake up that didn't happen like 100 years ago and maybe your son is already dead? Seems a huge plothole (not that I care about plot).
  18. They are quite annoying. I did that quest with the Minutemen where you are supposed to clean up a fortress. Good lord, there were a crap-ton of those things which are hard to kill and then suddenly one of those legendary Mirelurks shows up and while I am running away from the damn thing an even bigger Mirelurk(The Mirelurk Queen) shows up and starts hitting me with some sort of corrosive thing from the distance which drains my health and kills me with 2 hits! Gotta try taking that fortress with the Power Armor and the Minigun equipped later. The poor Minutemen are still waiting for me near the fortress! Haven't found anything yet that raises poison resistance. Bloodbugs are annoying as well. Though I think the entire North east corner is a more high level area.
  19. Power armour greatly boosts your strength so it's no problem.
  20. Prestooooooooooon don't tell me he's romancable
  21. Are Mirelurk hunters supposed to be this tough? Met one with a skull next to its name, had to use the Fat man to take it out. There's also an odd place inhabited by robots, if you fail charisma checks and piss off the leader he attacks. I couldn't even put a dent in his HP bar with my best weapon.
  22. Raiders/mutants endlessly spamming molotovs/grenades with pinpoint accuracy are getting on my nerves. Hilarious if you return to them in power armour and swat them like flies. Well, as long as you don't leave your intended level zone.
  23. The storyline just doesn't work for an open-world game. Bethesda again completely fails to instill a sense of urgency, even worse than Failout 3 since it's even more family oriented. My son got kidnapped? lol just let me waste some months building settlements first and then I'll look for him. Even Two Worlds 1/2 handled this kind of storyline much better.
