  1. I know what harem animes are - Have seen more than enough of that garbage.
  2. Well if they would at least show something There's always something in front of it or obviously hidden. I'm just sitting here like, man, I'm clearly too old for this.
  3. They introduced a new (female) character in the latest episode, who just took a bath at the main characters house for reasons. Obviously the guy storms into the bath, because he doesn't know who's in the house (could be a fraud or burglar!!!), and oh no, that girl is standing completely naked in front of him now. Then because of shock, she falls down and gives our male lead a full front view of all the goods. By the way, that woman has the body of a young girl but as established in a later scene, she is actually older than the other characters around, because of course. This is cringe level over 9000.
  4. Of course My Dress-Up Darling is turning into a harem anime now and features the exact same levels of cringe. I don't understand why people want to watch this. And I'm not sure why I keep watching it. Maybe because it's just a weekly 20 minutes exposure?
  5. Why are you people watching this garbage anyways. I couldn't even finish STD s2e1 and I haven't finished Picard either. Picard hurts probably the most, because I was so looking forward to it back then ... sad.
  6. Finished Reacher. The ending was a bit mhm, but still good all in all.
  7. That Lightyear thing looks p.nice, imo. Probably going to check it out later.
  8. Started watching Reacher yesterday because of you people. Made it to the 2nd episode and so far I like it. Had to lol about the police woman who clearly had the hots for Reacher from the very first minute. And it was played up in episode 2 even more. Can't really blame her, tho, it's basically the real-life JoJo muscle chad gym god meme. Only because I never saw Reacher before. Only the advertisements and names and stuff, and it just looked all the same. Same reason for why I didn't watch the Tom movie .. it just looked like another Mission Impossible to me, so had 0 interest in it.
  9. Wow, so this is what confused the hell out of me. In the last few years have been so many Jacks, who all kinda are the same?? Now it makes sense...
  10. Binge-watched Uncontrollably Fond. As usual with those k-shows, the middle part was incredibly stretched to the max, but all in all it was still a nice show. Also, so sad.
  11. Funny, it really does look a lot like it.
  12. Something ain't right here, but I can't really put the finger on it.
  13. Yeah, that's exactly what I hated about it. They could have just not done that and it would have been a great movie anyways.
  14. I'm probably the only person who is meh about Train to Busan. The last part of that movie just killed it for me and had me rolling eyes again.
  15. Watched All of Us Are Dead yesterday. Basically binged the whole show in two days. All in all it was good, but some parts were a bit too slow and a bit of a pain to get through. Also a couple times people died for very stupid reasons + it made me furious how they don't just build weapons and armor. Park Ji-hu was the best. I liked all of her scenes, especially with her father. What I find interesting about korean shows is when they show the class struggle. Seems they have quite some issues with rich vs poor, which kinda makes sense, considering their history, I guess. Also the bullying in school was pretty crazy. I wonder how much of that is just hyperbole for tv.
  16. Just watched Netflix' Don't Look Up and now I'm depressed.
  17. Well, I don't like the old anime style, tbh. I just can't get into it. I like stuff that is like My Name and such. Modern, fine lines, detailed. Your Lie in April and Erased looks also kinda nice to me. And of course the new JoJo, which also looks great. Sadly animes of that quality seem to not happening all that often.
  18. Damn, I really like the visual style of My Dress-Up Darling, but everything else about it is so cringe.
  19. Wait, I just learned this new Star Wars show with Bobby Fat is out? Somehow nobody at all is talking about it. Is it that bad?
  20. I never finished PoE1 because it was simply too long and for me it lost a lot of steam later. However, I think PoE2 was exactly the right size and hell, I even finished it twice.
  21. Just finished How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? and it's hilarious. Waifu muscle kink stuff but most of the time not even that cringe. Honestly, I have seen far worse animes. At least this one isn't the usual harem stuff that makes you want to vomit.
  22. The writing clearly suffered from the "more = better" crap that was going on back then. I still blame Planescape: Torment for this. We all thought that more text = better rpg, because of a single miracle case of a game that came out like 20 years ago. Oh boy how wrong we were. Turns out it's really not the amount of text, but the quality of text that matters. Lots of the stuff in PoE1 could have been cut out and nothing of value would have been lost. Stuff like reading the "souls" or whatever that was didn't help it either..
  23. Jeez, PoE2 became profitable in 2020 -- 2 years after release. I knew it was running bad, but didn't expect this bad. Personally I feel like it's because the majority of players were tired of the top-down-classic-rpg-esque stuff? Like, PoE1 relied heavily on nostalgia still, which then everyone got their fair share fulfilled with. Also we got the new Torment game, which also kinda ran into the same direction. So at the end of the day, I really think the majority of generic players just were tired of it or thought it's going to be just more of the same. Then again, if I remember right, they decided later to do full voice acting for PoE2, which sure as **** was not cheap. So this probably also blew up the budget crazy high and then caused unrealistic expectations?
  24. I mean, they did show mars' effects in season 5 more extensively. There was Bobby's arc, and Alex seeing it as well. I don't think it was necessary to go over it again in season 6. We got earth in the beginning of s6 now, which was lacking a lot in s5 (Amos' arc was supposed to show that, but imo it didn't really work well). My problem with the "tricking" at the end of s6 is that this was a *huge* gamble... just to even get into that position. It made for a better show, but the "realism" went a bit stray there, I'd say. However, I still think it's good the way it is. Probably going to binge-watch s6 again this weekend, now that it is completed.
