Still funny how The Orville got trashed so hard by critics while STD was praised... and here we are, still praising The Orville and trashing STD. Haven't seen the new STD yet. Will probably wait till there are a few more episodes out, or maybe even the full season. I just have no motivation to go through all that garbage again right now. But I'm craving for the next Orville episode. \o/

Pictures of your Games 11 - The Quickening
Lexx replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
Weird, I don't remember the location on the last screenshot. -
Hope you bought all the charm converts (from fragile to whatever it was called), because that NPC tent will be gone too if you do the banishment.

So I just realized that the handgun shown in the Outer Worlds gameplay looks a heckin lot like Fallouts 10mm pistol (which is actually a revolver, but everyone gets it wrong). The whole shape is pretty much the same, just the surface details seem different. Just saying.

Where are you? Canada? From what I've heard, it's disgustingly expensive. I think Finland is the best, as they have super speed for cheap since years already. Germany is a very mixed bag.. you get a great connection in one town, but the next a few kilometers down the road is back in the stone age.

Because it sounds like a scam. These people write a review about a non-grindy game that later might be super grindy. It's not like they said the game will get just a final balance pass... they clearly stated the economy will be different. And yes, this does have an effect on the gameplay.

Solo is one of them movies you watch once and then never again. /Edit: So I watched Bird Box. Was not bad, but there is this one big question I had at the very end of the movie:
-
1) that happens the rest of the game. I rushed the last part of the story because it got really annoying and tedious. 2) Everyone said they are swimming in cash, but I somehow never had enough over the entire game. No idea what exactly I did wrong / different.

Seeing Sawyer this old actually makes me feel old as well.

I've noticed back in the days that sending job applications via e-Mail rarely triggers a response from companies. Probably because it's too easy to just delete / ignore a mail, while physical post needs some extra care.

There's a log book if you press one of the arrow buttons for a few seconds. Don't ask me which one, because I don't remember and I rarely used it at all. :>

While we're at Operation Flashpoint, here's some unasked adverts for my ArmA3 campaign again. Still working on something new... for over a year now. Still a long way to go, though. /Edit: Also the announcement of Yoga Fire turn-based mode.

You'll meet him again later in a different town. I think if you're going back to the start location in Valentine, the bar keeper will tell you where he went as well.
-
Will have to rewatch it. Though, suppose there are fairly limited ways to fall when clinging to a railing. It's when they bang on an object and start flipping / rotating around. I don't really remember, but I think even the sound is exactly the same.

Just made it through Punisher season 2. Not sure yet if it was better or worse than season 1. Had some very good and some very boring moments, just like the first one. I guess the Billy story could have been fleshed out some more, or maybe it's just because I expected something different. In any case, waiting for season 3 now.

Finished Battlefield 1 campaign yesterday. It was.... mediocre. The game has some great moments and ideas, but at the same time at least the same level of stupidity. I like the idea of multiple mini-scenarios spread over the world, but they tried to have me feel emotions that I can't feel, because the exposure to the characters was way, way too short. Apparently they want me to care about people I barely know. From all these scenarios, I'd say the tank one was the best. Probably because it's also the longest. I was hoping for something about the german or austrian side, but as to be expected, they are nothing but proto-nazis. Slap some swastikas in the maps and it will look like any other WW2 game with weird weapons. In general this game feels like any other (back then very popular) WW2 game, just in slight WW1 disguise. I think they actually really wanted to make a WW2 game instead of this. Hell, it even comes with its own Normandy-like beach landing mission. The gameplay was tiresome. First you sneak, then you shoot waves of enemies, then the mission ends. Not much different than all the other Battlefield or Call of Duty games, I guess (haven't played them in ages). In this one, though, they seem to have integrated multiplayer stuff into the singleplayer. The icons and how your friends are market, sometimes you have to hold an area, which looks like your usual capture the flag mechanic, etc... I'm guessing they use it as a tutorial for the multiplayer mode as well. Wouldn't be surprised if most of the maps are taken 1:1 from the multiplayer as well. The weapons... boy, this annoyed me the most. Every other weapon is some sort of machine gun. If you have a bolt action rifle, it takes literally 10 seconds to get any machinegun. There's your assault rifles, machine guns, heavy machine guns,... they look weird and clunky, but at the end of the day, they are exactly the same as in any other shooter. Here it really shows again that they actually wanted to make a WW2 game. So scared of doing something different, "players might not like it if we don't have machine guns!".... Annoying. All in all, I will likely delete the game now and never touch it again.

They are using the same falling animation for multiple scenes. It's really damn obvious.

Oh damn, Punisher s2 is already out? Now I know how to waste my time this weekend.

So why were people walking out if it was so great?

I just lol'd hard, because Google has rolled out new adverts on their site. If you're searching something, the first thing that happens is a full screen of adverts that looks almost identical to the normal search results. Apparently this isn't live everywhere yet, but gets activated step by step. Example: ^ First row is adverts. On the normal keyword search, it really fills my whole screen with adverts and I'll have to scroll down to reach the actual content. This stuff is pissing me off. Hopefully the advert blockers are updated soon...

I didn't even manage to beat his first rank, because he is so god damn random. Even if I would be able to beat him, his next ranks are even more crazy and completely impossible for me.

Robbing people isn't worth it anyway. It takes seconds till the magic police arrives and then you get a shootout and bounty that costs you more than you made from the actual robbing.

This is the most pansy bïtch äss move I think they've made yet. I'm not surprised when corporations are greedy and driven by fiduciary responsibilities to grow their investors money. This is totally different. These are called "Test Cells." I first visited one Oblivion with a console command. It was well known, the console itself was not even hidden away. PC gaming culture at the time reveled in the freedom the console exposed, and it was tradition to both enter cheats there and general tinker. Bethesda knows better than anyone the mod-culture that they've promoted and embraced over the years. I've since used them in Fallout, Fallout NV, and Skyrim (the last Bethesda game I saw worthy buying.) Fallout 4 had them, and it looks like even Morrowind had some. These have been part of the Bethesda's fan-base culture for sooo many years. I do not expect a dev to ban it's paying customers for what are left in the game as easter eggs since at least Morrowind. "Oh but this is a multiplayer game and it allows people to cheat." Well fine, take the test cells out. Don't ban your PAYING CUSTOMERS you fücking neanderthal pillocks!!! Problem is that 76 is a multiplayer game and thus it affects all players and not just your game. Other than that, the bans are retarded, as it happened because of Bethsofts failure at making a good game. That they can't even revert the inventories or whatever of the selected players makes it more funny.

Nope. I know Grimm Troupe is a thing that exists, but I'm only going to find them if the process isn't overly convoluted It's not, they're hidden behind a breakable wall like a lot of stuff. I think that's quite convoluted already. Without a youtube video I wouldn't have found them, ever. Didn't started playing it yet, though, just activated it.

Yes, and spider man appears while parker accidentally isn't around.
