You sound like a gamer, boy... I did like a video by Matt Lees (no idea why he is relevant, I am sure he is for something) which was theorizing that without women the games industry will stagnate and that if you just like playing games and not talking about them, you should **** off.

She'd be less suitable for melee combat than an equally trained male though (well, at least in what is required of line infantry), I think Fighter's post had a "ceteris parabis" that was pretty obvious. So, what was the issue ?

Problem is a lot of people are insane and find gaming is more than a hobby where we are all suckers that consume entertainment. It's art where we all are part of a shared communal experience or some weird stuff like that. But gamers don't figure into that as they just care about the games as entertainment, so probably why you see all these "gamers are dead" talking point stuff out. Not quite analogous to a bunch of half-committed club members booting out dedicated ones, but is partly there.

All of that tends to get people's backs up and then nothing gets done. Resistance to SJ issues isn't some huge bloc, you have trolls, psyschos, some people with issues with what is being presented. After all, it's bad to label a whole group and attribute a stance to them you find convenient.
