  1. Is that even possible in a GTA game? Also, using the phrase "clean" to refer to a GTA playthrough is comically inappropriate. Hm, certainly could be - easiest is to not kill pedestrians and other drivers, harder with the shootouts. Partial enjoyment in the challenge in that regard.
  2. Hope it goes well for you. Well and your GM allows you a little stipend to get some better gear than the default stuff (we got 100 thrones to spend, if I recall).
  3. Well if you went speeding on country roads, it'd become boring. All depends on your frame of reference, after all.
  4. If you really think there's no distinction between the morality of Putin's Russia and how the EU functions then ...well that's quite interesting. Well there is, but I didn't actually make that comparison in my post. Not really much more the states than can do than nag anyway, really, so I guess it is unfair to snicker. The EU going to war, heh. And the US really wants to fight over Ukraine. Posters here though, well, that's snigger worthy.
  5. Soon, Kane will reveal himself as Putin's adviser. Peace through power!
  6. GTA 4 still, just going through it doing stuff I didn't do the first time. Perhaps should also try a clean run that involves me not killing people needlessly.
  7. Who's portraying that ? Just powers doing what powers do. It's just fun sometimes to snigger at US/EU moralizing sometimes.
  8. Had a very good lasagna for $7 food court lasagna.
  9. Expected as much from the betas I played, shame, but isn't a total POS by any means. The RPS review I found annoying, just in the writing style. Comments aren't much better but then again, they are Walker's monkeys.
  10. Also Jensen's Moebius was out yesterday, reviews are a bit negative on it.
  11. Broken Sword 5 Episode 2 is out today at 6 PM BST.
  12. In this forum thread, remember. That would seem to be the two sides as mainly it's the West/NATIO wagging their finger and squaring up to Russia over Crimea. So that's the two sides in the squabble we've been wasting time over.
  13. Yeah, but the term 'privilege' is bandied about like a hammer these days, so it's as if you think they are are bad things. Shade above the "Oh yeah, well why don't you criticize Iran and see how they like it?" you hear bandied at protestors by some people. And eh, absolute cynicism isn't that bad. You'll end up realizing your politicians are either veteran whores or whores in training and stop voting and become disinterested. Absolute trust means you're more apt to be used.
  14. Well, in this thread it's apparently Russia vs West or so some see it as.
  15. Well given that Bruce was referring to Anti-Western and pro-Russian. Also "masters crap", heh, referring to the government - the guys that rule over you, remember ?
  16. Right, when it's framed the way he did, it certainly comes across as the former. Also, how exactly is it privilege at work to...doubt what your government says ? Or point out hypocrisies, etc.
  17. Really ? You've been preaching enough through these threads that the sides should be obvious. Yes, but the second half is about people being distrustful of their governments and don't stand behind what they do (not sure why you mention that unless you mean to imply that is required).
  18. So, people being cynical and untrustworthy about politicians is bad to you ?
  19. Amazingly people in Western countries are allowed to think differently than what their masters think, no ? I don't know why you can call one side narrative and the other is truth, given the penchant of both for lying through their teeth.
  20. Probably at best you get a confused or scared reaction - some random stranger asking that is either a) creep b) mental case. At worst you'd get swore at for your impudence. Actually here, you'd get a dirty scowl and then they'd bad mouth you to their friends afterward.
  21. He should've contacted his superior, and if the answer was negative, he should've just let it be. Ahh, well damn, he's an idiot then.
  22. Well, you got lucky and got one that wouldn't tell you off. I'd not bother talking like that to any strangers here.
  23. Well, like an old quote says, it works better than the alternatives.
  24. I didn't assume you were being serious, thought it was some stupid joke you made to a stranger.
