Did you ever hear the tragedy of Chris Avellone, the Obsidian owner? He could even stop his own projects from getting finished. Is it possible to learn this power? Only from Chris Roberts

Subduing Victoria in one mission was fun, literally ended with my Hunchback and her Catapult exchanging melee attacks

Totally forgot I backed this, there's an actual beta! -
I have about 400, 280 or so on GOG, rest on Steam and a couple on Uplay

Found it because Metallica covered it at a concert, and always looking for stuff to weird out neighbours with. Metallica covered Lady Pank abroad? Oh, wow. Now I've heard everything. What's next? Non-Canadians enjoying Celine Dion? No Dzem

Found it because Metallica covered it at a concert, and always looking for stuff to weird out neighbours with. Playing Arabic music makes people cross the street to avoid my house

You don't "have" to trust anyone, though. That's entirely your choice. The sentence itself uses the words "if I had to....", as in, if someone put a gun to my head and said choose or die. I didn't say I trusted either. Though I will say Avellone has done more than enough to prove he is untrustworthy. How about I write it so Codexer's can fully get it. Of the two, Chris Avellone and Feargus Urquhart, which one "appears" more trustworthy based on the data that is available? Feargus Urquhart. Still with the angry dog act, I see. Also, you say you don't trust either, yet you just know that Avellone is untrustworthy Ah, people here.

Hm, maybe, haven't looked in a while but did see a post on Reddit. Will remain skeptical about damage to Obsidian. But hey, they can blame any poor sales on Avellone Better than piracy.

Yep, which is why banding about insults on either is most comical. But oh well, people here. Fair enough. I have had my foot in the Codex door every little bit, and am just getting snowblind coming back over here because of the sentiment toward Feargus and Josh over there. Reality is bending and I'm having trouble separating the two. Yep, the Codex thread has a bunch of crap to skip over. Though I do like the part where they were going on about where different forums have their sacred cows, Codex has Avellone, SA has Sawyer, etc. He pays someone’s mortgage. Some people have the ability to look beyond their own circumstances. Hm, would wager such sympathy would be far too selective, but fair enough.

Even if it is Paradox.. Finally got a Hunchback with an AC/20. Feels good to swat Commando's or Locusts with one shot.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - FREE WHITE HOUSE MONTAGE
Malcador replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
They do say in the splash screens that they do not encourage or endorse any of the behaviour in the game -
No, it seems like the response of someone who has dealt with dumb asses like Avellone in the real world, many times. I have zero tolerance for his type of person, they are nothing but problems waiting to happen. You seem to know a lot about Avellone for certain to carry on like a dog, heh. Also, people seriously believe that ranting on the Codex is going to damage Obsidian (though, why people care that much is also odd - not like Urquhart pays my mortgage) ? As someone mentioned earlier about grousing over beers, as everyone does, seems a lot like just the online version.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - FREE WHITE HOUSE MONTAGE

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/05/03/star-traders-frontiers-is-the-best-space-game-ive-played-in-ages/ Looks like an interesting game, maybe on sale. $15 is too expensive -
Derek Smart is near deranged, Avellone isn't near that yet.
-
Seems like a good fanboy response. I like the repeated insults on Avellone
-
5 years for non compete? Wow, would be surprised if that could be enforced.

Watching Arsenal continue to fail as they're going out to Atletico Madrid today

It's basically 4chan but somehow even more racist and utterly convinced that the ability to play video games that are really old makes them an instant expert on any subject from literary theory to geopolitics. Eh, wouldn't say it's that bad, at least in the subforums. Either that or I'm just practiced to skip over the idiocy, there's decent posts there
-
Eh it's fun to watch, what harm can come from it
-
Well, it's updating via Galaxy, didn't see any downloader links at the time. Ok...it's just stuck at verifying files, so maybe it's in the middle of something right now.

Eh, I doubt anyone is going to be losing their job as a result of Avellone's comments on the Codex of all places. I meant his comments might be reason for lost sales. We had already one person in this thread to cancel his pledge. I am wondering how many more people could do the same... Even 1000 people cancelling, means about 50000 USD to be paid back. And that is basically money for 1 person contracted for 1 year... Well, I also meant the sales. I don't think many care that much about Avellone, or if they do, care enough to abandon the game. People still buy games from studios where people have reported crunch or some other rough working conditions, after all. As 213374U said this is the best window to take a shot if that is the case, I just doubt it'll hit.
