  1. Yep, but have to snark at the F-35s interesting development history. Seems like the S-400 is the better purchase here, though, in any case (then again, have to account for marketing BS - see Gulf War and Patriots)
  2. I think they do. It's a sinister plan to make the US adversaries waste so much money on a similar program.
  3. US looking at it wrong way. Good chance to study one more easily.

  5. Iron Maiden can't be bought indeed.
  6. Got new glasses. Not sure if the change is actually correct or the doctor was wrong as one eye is so blurry it makes vision a pain. Always love any small change to lenses, adjustment period always sucks.
  7. Forgot this gem
  8. When it's just a means, it's a good sign you don't care about it
  9. Was going to start that next week. Good to know I've wasted my money, now, though!
  10. Huh, also learned Rachid Taha died last September
  11. New WoW patch, basically just doing dailies over and over - though complaints that all we do is grind this patch have me puzzled as to what genre people have been playing for 15 years. Nazjatar has some the best music WoW has ever had though, and is a cool zone. Sort of shame it's not a fully fleshed out zone though, given it's importance to lore events.
  12. Showes are superior, anyway. Best banter I came across during the WWC was a joke on Morgan falling down as easily as WTC 7
  13. Who ? Oh Canada ? Wish they didn't even reach that, seeing Sinclair weep at defeat was glorious.
  14. A sad day when any American wins.
  15. The Patriot ?
  16. Dog walking out of a fire gutted house, great photo if just for the way everyone's eyes are on him.
  17. Youtube recommendations yield something good. Though, not sure entirely how I ended up on this after Manowar.
  18. Maybe he just needs eyeglasses. That must be it.
  19. Seems like that is it, well or at least just NPD and the ensuing need for admiration.
  20. I guess we'll have to wait and see some studies on the damage from EA's MTX schemes.
  21. Americans sure are strange, strange people.
  22. Give it 10 years. From asking about it does seem that EA's evil is just them fleecing gamers (although one told me their marketing was akin to mind control...). I guess the thinking is they're like cigarette companies peddling addictive wares - minus the causing death and all.
  23. Only if they have to hurdle him.
  24. Think they're parked, concerns about tearing up the pavement on the roads. https://www.kmov.com/news/st-louis-county-reaches-settlement-after-woman-s-dog-was/article_27d2bbea-9d45-11e9-8a4f-53af5a03fcd6.html SWAT raid for an unpaid gas bill, well a crooked cop didn't help either.
  25. https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-07-02-ea-i-struggle-with-the-perception-that-were-just-a-bunch-of-bad-guys# "25 years at EA and I still struggle with the external perception that we're just a bunch of bad guys," says Matt Bilbey, EVP of strategic growth at EA. "We love making and playing games. Unfortunately, when we make mistakes on games, the world knows about it because it's of a size and scale." Is funny to have people view EA as a truly evil corporation, as opposed to something like Nestle or something that has more serious effects
