Well, I guess the person that said it was one, but the sentiment behind it is still pretty valid - fixing symptoms is great, root causes is too uncomfortable.
I hate this ****ing prosperity gospel bull**** I always see peddled.
Not a bible quote, but sure everyone knows it.
"When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why they are poor, they call me a communist." —Dom Helder Camara
Might be tricky to find suitable space for that in some cities. Here in Toronto some community gardens have been lost because yuppies need condos, heh.
Yep, our app is just a POS. And appropriately, my Windows password is going to expire. Time to make it password67 instead of 66. Recall that these fixed life passwords may be counterproductive as it makes people choose poor passwords rather than just using a passphrase - $EAsucksRipWestwood2003neverforget! is easy to remember and decent quality.
Wish that'd apply to us. Apparently someone has it set so the passwords expire after 3 months, but then the first failed log in locks the account. So the user gets no notice that the password is expired so they can't avoid the lock out. I guess this was done in order to give our L1 team something to do ?
Nah the door to Nina's dad's place. Funny, never really interact with him that much in either of the preceding games. Think I am scraping the barrel of point and clicks on GOG...may have to get Jack Keane next.
Secret Files 3 is a bit disappointing, so far the two puzzles I've been faced with have me sealed in one room. Good thing I played the first game recently, too, would be left in dark otherwise, hah.
