  1. I'd like to hear what Webb has to say, but I can't stand listening to the other ones.
  2. Wait, so you're saying anyone that drops out of the runnings for a job is a traitor... I was commenting on something else, McCarthy dropping out was definitely a good thing. Saudi Arabia is p. conservative, yet I would not call them free or economically successful... Mississippi is incredibly conservative and its the poorest state in the U.S. Mississippi is historically rural and poor. If they were a country being conservative might help them more, but as it is they still have to obey all the federal rules. Exactly. Now read my post again. I did read it. What philosophical depths did I miss? "kind of worked" still means it did work, not "it did the opposite of intended".
  3. Its one of those stories when you actually read it you realize its not such a big deal.....you guys need to just learn to accept that people want to immigrate to the USA and there is nothing you can do to stop it so rather learn to embrace it There's tons of things we can do, but the powers that be are benefitting from it, so nothing ever gets done.
  4. Actually it didn't. What he called traitors were completely innocent people. Big part of the reason Soviet Union did so bad in Finnish war and WW2 initially is he purged the military of most experienced officers.
  5. Before you defeat the enemy you first have to purge the traitors.
  6. WOD I cannot believe you are taking those links seriously...they are full of biased, untrue, scurrillous and ignorant points. Please don't believe them...I get you don't like Obama but that doesn't mean you have to let people manipulate you. Just a few examples of what is patently false or ignored in those articlesHe clearly thinks Putin is this great leader and seems to admire his ruthlessness....lets analyze that for a moment. The Russian economy is in a recession....I'll repeat that...The Russian economy is in a recessionhttp://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-08-19/russia-rewrites-blueprint-for-growth-as-recession-dooms-consumer http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/11/news/economy/russia-crissis-gdp/ And its not just the fact the global oil price has dropped and Russia never diversified its economy ( another sign of a " great " leader, placing all Russia's economic eggs in ONE basket ) its also a result of the Western sanctions as Putin, the "great " leader has in his infinite wisdom believed he could illegally take the Crimea and basically get Eastern Ukraine to secede and join Russia like he did in Georgia....and he thought the West wouldn't actually use a military option..." Obama is weak remember " Yes the West wouldn't use a military option but battles and ideological conflicts can be won or ended without actually attacking a country...sanctions did work and are working So it amazes me that a Texan and I assume a Capitalist is not concerned with a leader who had made decisions that have caused his country to enter recession And then I keep explaining this and its getting a little frustrating ....the USA is not more involved in Syria as it doesn't want to be. This is not a sign of weakness but prudence ...and who exactly should the USA be ashamed in front of ? No Western country is prepared to send ground troops so it can't be them he is referring to...oh wait he means the countries of the ME Seriously the USA needs to feel humiliated by a group of countries that are currently the most dysfunctional in the world ... countries that despite all being Arab have a major problem where certain members just refuse to help fellow Muslims and Syrian refugees And you want the USA to beg to be liked by these counties....why? The USA and Obama have nothing to prove to the ME and once again as a Texan this surprises me that you hold these countries in such high regard? He also dismisses the Iran negotiations and considers them "failed " Anyway I could honestly go on and on ...but I think I made my point Actually I don't think Putin is great, and while a lot of the facts stated in the first article are correct, I don't agree with his overall conclusion, least of all of co-operating with Putin, who is clearly our enemy. That's why I also posted the second article. My point was that Obola's obvious weakness and incompetence makes Putin look good by comparison. No better enemy, no worse friend.
  7. Actual quote from the Obola/Putin meeting : "Bend over, lady-boy!" How low have we sunk when Putin looks good by comparison? http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/10/putin_the_indispensable_man.html Hard to argue with his facts. Don't think cooperating with Russia is a good idea though : http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/424930/four-dangerous-realities-putins-middle-east-power-play-david-french
  8. I'm talking about the ones who want to preserve Jeffersonian democracy, capitalism, Federalism and Constitutional law where no one is either above or below the law. I guess some of those things are already gone so may be trying to restore them would be reactionary?
  9. What victim card did I play?
  10. Saudi Arabia is Islamic fundamentalist, pretty much the opposite of what we call "Conservatism" in America, which is sometimes referred to as "Classic Liberalism" or may be "Neoliberalism", I'm a little confused. Words have different meaning in different contexts you know.
  11. So if you could choose, no budgets would be passed and the government would be in perpetual shutdown? There are no budgets passed, it's simply one continuing resolution after another. Yet somehow Dems get everything they want, and Conservatives who supposedly control the House and the Senate if you believe the liars who call themselves Conservative every time they're up for re-election get jack squat. And that's a big part of the problem with politics in the U.S. today-- the rival party is viewed as "an enemy." A reasonable public servant who earnestly wants to help provide for the common defense and promote the general welfare of the Unites States of America is not my enemy, even if we have different opinions on the appropriate means by which to carry out the government's constitutional duties. Elected officials who are willing to burn **** down to prove what badasses they are might be, though. I was using "enemy" in a generic sense, don't get your panties in a bunch.
  12. Yes, totally the same thing.
  13. Yes, he waited until she was 9 or 10. Also this is still common in some Muslim countries.
  14. We'd be the only conservative country in the world, and therefore the most economically successful and freest country in the world. And really, don't Conservatives deserve their own homeland? Btw, efforts to secede haven't led to war anywhere in the Western world, and one might remember that the feds backed off when confronted with an armed population in that dispute with the Nevada rancher.
  15. Yes, one always loves moderation in an enemy.
  16. I haven't actually accepted Bruce's joke premise that Obola would declare Sharia in Texas. But you should read up on the new British Labor leader Hurlshot.
  17. Here you go, cultural differences : http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/21/world/asia/us-soldiers-told-to-ignore-afghan-allies-abuse-of-boys.html?_r=0
  18. I'd love that, we'd finally stop being a flock of sheep and secede. Edit: Btw, style point, "Sharia law" is redundant. You do realize that seceding would mean facing the full power of the US military which in the case of preserving the Union would not hesitate to resort to total war if it needed to. The Texans would be forced to stay, or if that became impossible they'd all be killed, by nuclear strikes if needed. No state leaves the union; much less with it's people alive. I don't think the military would fight against Texas for a commie government. Most of people in the military are either Texans or Southerners. Scotland was allowed to leave, how's that different from Texas? Even the republics of the Soviet Union were allowed to leave, are you saying our government is worst than the communists? Edit: In reality, there'd be a civil war in Texas between those wanting to leave and those who don't, that's the real obstacle.
  19. I'd love that, we'd finally stop being a flock of sheep and secede. Edit: Btw, style point, "Sharia law" is redundant.
  20. May have something to do with his viewing the job of the President as being "Defender of the Prophet", while never having a good thing to say about Christianity, you clingers to God and guns. Also Trump is right, he has no obligation to defend Obola, whether it's one of his supporters or not. Edit: And btw, after watching the video the question wasn't even about Obola, it was about terrorist training camps which we do have in the country, so Trump would have to parse and respond to every word, which isn't reasonable to expect regardless.

  23. "Parties working together" generally means Democrats getting everything they want. Thus not that popular with the Republican base just now. More popular with the Republican establishment, but their only job is to be corporate whores.
  24. I already explained the judge has no authority to do any of that. It would take the Kentucky legislature or a local prosecutor, all of whom are themselves elected and thus are likely to be sympathetic to the clerk. What the judge did it simply the same thing he would've done with anyone disobeying a court order.
  25. First of, how do you know I disagree with her? Second, why are you inventing stuff that didn't happen? Third, she's not going to be in jail for life. Even Susan McDougal was released after a couple of years although she refused to testify in the Whitewater case.
