  1. While entertaining ... it is a pathetic, given their legacy of spinning off pop music (three-chord repetition does not a punk song make) suddenly to release an album with an "agenda" (questionable at that). Though it's the most punk they've sounded in a long time, that still makes them even greater posers and commercial whores.
  2. ... yet sad that the Master (Anthony Ainley) died recently ...
  3. While you may classify the Fox movie as horrid - McGann was certainly a fine incarnation ... will have to see how this portrayal/personality plays out. Personally most vehemently hated was Colin Baker ...
  4. Hopefully we can at some point (the sooner the better) receive word on what 3d rendering suite(s) will be supported so that the community can anticipate and design a library of resources for their own use. Even without knowing the gross parameters that will be permissible (ex. poly-count), one can always model on the high side and 'dumb-down' any base models to fit. It's far simpler to take a single model blade you created, for instance, and break it up and adjust to fit the specs. Even if it in the long run it means wasted effort (as some models might be too low or need too much work to convert) at the very least potential custom content creators will have practice time with whatever suite(s) and thus streamline the learning curve (and maximize content release) before day one hits.
  5. ... and later on in the thread ... Lucas is no Gene Roddenberry (though he could learn alot from the collaborative process as shown in related novels and other media). Years ago I recall hearing that should he die, he takes it with him to the grave - giving no one rights to continue his work on his Star Wars. In a sense it's a decent plan to keep fanatics from assassinating him to end his reign of terror. Worse crime would be if it was bequeathed to his daughter, as she allegedly wanted NSYNC in the last movie ... imagine what horrors she'd unleash with the powers of the dark side .....
  6. A draft would be a good tool to reduce the byproducts of a poor educational system ... cut the dead wood as it were ... but they have not the war to support it.
  7. I'll take that GL card ... thank you.
  8. Certainly a system that takes into account the max portage capability - as currently anyone can fill up every space way above their limits (granted be slow as hell). Attempts at trying to add something heavier than their max carry capacity should result in an auto-drop. Additionally, varied container sizes would be good. Originally BW had planned to have small, medium and large containers but dropped it - which resulted in the tardis effect (small boxes and large bags having the same capacity - ooh look, I can stick a polearm in a small box!). Even without varying the sizes of the containers, a gross max weight allowance for containers would be even better as it would take care of varied container sizes without additional inventory sizes.
  9. Having seen that QuickTime footage of the Marvin prototype has me depressed ...
  10. Certainly works for me, though the validation key e-mail that didn't get used managed to throw me for a momentary loop. Love the options.
