Someone did something last year that had nothing to do with him, but he's still a victim because being a victim is now the highest status you can achieve in USA, so even though it had nothing to do with him whatsoever, he "feel's" like it had something to do with him because it affect him, and that’s all that matters — not the truth, not facts, all the matters is the way he "feel" and America is racist ‘n stuff.

New information against Avellone from Kotaku article

I'm starting a fundraiser starting next month to erect (no pun intended) a statue of Chris that could be toppled and vandalized. -

Ex-Obsidianite Chris Avellone accused of predatory behavior
Skarpen replied to Boeroer's topic in Obsidian General
People will do anything for attention this days. Wonder why Obsidian is jumping on some obscure tweet that got no range whatsoever. Did CA's arguments for Microsoft to fire top management fell on a fertile ground? -

Yeah. That's probably it.

Well, insurance companies have to show profit all over the world and so is private healthcare. Yet I didn't heard of some ridiculous deductibles or astronomical bills for simple procedures outside the US. So I don't think we can blame universal economic factors for something that occured in one country. As for the research costs. Unless you claim that US still pays Flemming tantiems then I think it doesn't hold water. First of all other countries also use the new medicine, even the same medicine and they have much lower prices. Also in US the price for long established basic medicine and procedures are higher then everywhere else and research cost for those are I think long paid for.

Well it's ridiculous in itself that Americans pay for insurance AND still have to pay for healthcare. Like, what the hell is that? I've never heard of deductible in any insurance I ever had. If an agent would tell me that my insurance will only kick in after I've spent some crazy amount like 40k I would probably need medical assistance from the amount of laughter. The bigger problem however I think is that Americans pay tens of thousands of dollars on medicine and procedures that costs pennies everywhere else. I wonder how did that happen?

So it's similar then. Was it common to cite being homosexual or trans person as a reason for termination? Otherwise I don't really see what would be the impact of this SC decision.

No surprise for whom? I've had an accident at work a couple years back. Spent a week in a hospital and had surgical nose reconstruction under general anaesthesia. The bill (covered by universal health insurance) was 35k PLN. Which would be at the time about 14k USD. This I will agree, medical costs in US are not even through the roof they are through the stratosphere.

How is it in USA? In Poland for a contracted employee employeer need to state a reason if fired.

USA now have a simulation of a socialist state in CHAZ "free state". The walls have been built almost immediately, there are violent thugs extorting people, they use massive deportations and don't allow immigrants, the food has run out and the "governmental" farming looks like this (article is in Polish, but the tweets are English so the context is clear): https://www.stefczyk.info/2020/06/13/to-trzeba-zobaczyc-antifa-wziela-sie-za-rolnictwo/

Why irony? The guy clearly supports the right for people who want to leave to do so. It's solid stance in my opinion.

You don't understand. This is very politically savvy virus and he supports BLM and doesn't spread during peaceful riots. Unless the police use tear gas or tries to prevent peaceful looting, then it spreads. So republican doing anything = virus spreads, democrat doing anything = virus doesn't spread.

Maybe I didn't pay attention but I don't remember people paying this much attention to how the consoles look. Well we are lucky no one noticed that in this design the black is "held" by the white or we would get PS5 banned...

Then why it would need a charging station?

A lot of fun memories with this RP system

I remember the case. I watched the video and though that I would shoot the guy way earlier than the cop due to his behaviour. Being acquitted was a no brainer for this case. It's sad the cop had health issues because of this later.
