  1. 1. Turn-based combat. (Hey, don't look at me like that!) 2. Swashbuckler. 3. Beguiler. 4. A couple of prestige classes for Bards. 5. A custom prestige class created specifically for SoZ. Arcane Scholar rocked.
  2. At least Hale is capable of expressing emotions other than "I'm tough, and you are not. Suck it down.".
  3. I'm half-way through the game with a male Shepard, but I'm seriously considering starting over with a female char. The voice actor is ****ing atrocious.
  4. That's why I want my Swashbuckler. A member of this class would fit a chaotic party much better than, say, your generic Fighter. Pretty please, kind sirs at Obsidian?
  5. Make Swashbuckler one of the new base classes. kthxbye.
  6. KotOR MMO is pretty much a dead deal, I think. However, I doubt it will be KotOR 3. A spin-off set during Mandalorian Wars is more likely.
  7. If you aren't going to actually use P&P rulebooks, but for whatever want to buy one, get either Mage: The Ascension, Planescape Campaign Setting boxed set or one of the Changeling games. These have the prettiest art and the most interesting fluff text. EDIT: Forgot about Ravenloft and Dark Sun. Those are cool as well.
  8. And then there is that tomb on Korriban. Two flashbacks to the Mandalorian Wars correspond to the past, the encounter with Kreia corresponds to the present, and by that logic the fight with Revan corresponds to the future.
  9. Rope arrows. I want them.
  10. Kucan also directed cut scenes in The Legend of Kyrandia games.
  11. That is one epic preview. Whoever wrote that crap probably thinks that MMO and RPG are sinonimous. This is my favorite part.
  12. It hasn't been announced, but I, personally, would be surprised is this feature made it in.
  13. What multiplayer mode?
  14. You mean side quests don't float in vacuum and are actually interconnected with main quests? If so, can I have your babies?
  15. This is a weird one. The guy has obviously been hit with shot, but the laws of physics hasn't kicked in yet, so he just stands there. Amusing. Best screenshot thus far.
  16. I'm sorry, but what examples do you refer to? Tale's? Not sure if you've noticed, but he wasn't serious. There are no examples of cosmic secrets of unthinkable horror in the books. Sure, you can crack a your momma joke every time your warlock uses this ability, but nobody encourages you to.
  17. Come clean, guys! What did you do with Mitsoda?
  18. And where's the proof part? You know, I have a friend who works at Nival, and he say that they are developing Heroes of Lightsabers and Force, a HoMM spin-off, at this very moment. See? I can do it too!
  19. Fair enough. I would be surprised if everyone loved Lovecraftian flavor.
  20. That's a wrong impression. I can understand why some people may call 4E a miniatures wargame, but an MMO? Sorry, but no. Fact: your 4E campaign will have as much role-playing as the DM wants. Read: as much as the previous editions had.
  21. A ridiculous statement, but whatever makes you sleep well.
  22. u doin it rong. The spells deals 2d8+CHA points of damage and gives a -1 Will penalty. -(1+INT) if you have a Star Pact.
  23. Keep in mind that the damage buffs and debuffs deal is usually laughable. 2d10, and that's a level 29 daily. Still stupid, but I can live with it. Not to mention that it will be right at home at pulpy settings, such as Eberron.
  24. Nah, I'm halfway through PHB, and 4E seems good so far. The way some powers look and work is pretty ludicrous, but there are some real gems, like this: Stylish and badass, without being over the top. I like most of the changes made to the core mechanics, so if you think you can stomach the flashier powers, definitely pick up a copy of PHB.
