  1. Don't forget the "mission" system. The game is pretty much a map with waypoints that are battles and cities where you get missions and new weapons. Nothing wrong with that, as long as combat is challenging and fun. I mean, I prefer better gameplay over some kiddy story anyway. Not sure if I can stomach the wierd look of FF4. Is combat in FF4 any good? And how's FFXII Revenant Wing? I'm prolly will get none of those and get The Last Remnant for PC instead.
  2. Yeah, about the FF games. There're plenty available for the DS, but which one would you recommend for a dude whose only experience with JRPGs has been The Last Remnant demo (and I even liked that one)? According to Metacritics, FF IV and FF Tactics A2 are the best, with Tactics offering a truly deep TB combat system. How's combat in FF4 compared to Tactics? Otherwise, I'm really enjoying my DS. I got stuck in Metroid because I can't manage to beat a boss while doing weird things with my left hand (in other words: D-pad + stylus + left trigger at the same time seems to be impossible for me to manage). Worms is really cool, even though difficulty changes quickly from easy too "what how do I do this?" level each mission. I'm also waiting for Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Resident Evil and Ninja Gaiden to arrive. Good times should be ahead.
  3. I hope this game as some decent narrative, because it would be really lame to make the game about babysitting Little Sisters the whole time.
  4. Dawn of Sorrow. And I don't like it at all. I also played a bit Star Wars Clone Wars which is okay-ish, but I think I'm gonna sell that one. The game I'm having must fun currently is Worms Open Warfare 2. How are the Final Fantasy games on the DS? I mean I know they look stupid and childish, but is the gameplay any good?
  5. Why are you playing the first Big Daddy when the game takes place 10 years after the original? There were other Big Daddys before, and why are you more human like this time?
  6. Metroid Prime is really fun to play, although the controls feel a bit awkward at the beginning. Castlevania however is total crap. It's so...japanese.
  7. So, what's the exact difference between Fallout and Wasteland anyway?
  8. Now it will be the inevitable battle of the Titans: Dragon Age vs. Alpha Protocol. This sucks.
  9. The demo was pretty dull and boring, so I won't touch the full version. Edit: But I found a copy of Resident Evil for the DS. Hehehehe!
  10. I wish they'd drop that goofy Big Daddy/Little Sister stuff alltogether and make Bioshock2 more relevant about the places and people and the horror.
  11. Well the PC version will likely have higher res textures. Duh.
  12. Playing a Big Daddy... Now this is ridiculous!
  13. From the little bit I've played, ETW is just Rome with slightly updated graphics. And more bugs.
  14. No way it's touched up, as this is normally not allowed. I guess the capture is just taken from the PC, that's why it looks so good.
  15. I totally forgot about the original Resident Evil. I'm so gonna get that.
  16. Well, having once owned both consoles, I can confirm that the 360 has more vibrant colours, and a sharper picture. However, the PS3 pic quality doesn't look that bad as showed in the above screenshot. I guess it's taken from a video.
  17. I think it's because they've a debug build running, which is always slower than a final compile. Some animations seem still to be jerky, but that's not a fun breaker for me. Overall, I'm now even more looking forward to AP. Only the interviewer asked dumb questions: "How many endings? 5? 6?" Geez. They travel all that long way to keep asking dumb questions...
  18. Stupid websites post every nonsense they can grab from every stupid source. "Hey Kotaku! I got official news! Bioshock 2 will have mutated puppies!!!!" Now just wait and see...
  19. Why is this Hades drilling in his nose?
  20. Gore and blood isn't scary - just tasteless. But I like scary stuff because I like the tension and the edgy perception of my environment. It's all about letting the imagination going wild. What's that sound? What might be behind this corner? What if I enter this dark dungeon?
  21. Looks like the first GTA. I'll buy that as a bargain.
  22. Then grow some ballz.
  23. There's a youtube video somewhere that features how to completely disassemble a DS.
