  1. Adventures are just too slow and boring, so I'll stay away from those, no matter on what platform. I've to think about FF and Chrono Trigger. Right now there are plenty other options that don't look so..ugh.
  2. I already ordered Metroid Prime. Based on that we'll see how well FPS games work on the DS. Not that there are many interesting out there. How is Age of Empires: Mythologies? It gets some good scores...
  3. System Shock DS would seriously rock.
  4. I wonder if that FPS stuff works well on the DS...
  5. Yes, I already said I consider Zelda. And have you played Civilization Revolution? Have to look into these CoD games... Man...so many games.
  6. Me neither. But most of that footage is old it seems. I remember there're plenty of scenes that I already saw during the E3 2008 presentation.
  7. Oh my so many games! And they have Worms indeed! I'm not so much into Adventures and racing. Adventures are too slow, racing is too impersonal.
  8. I'm not principly put off by JRPGs...but damn, gotta get used to the looks. I'm not really interested in tanks, choppers & co war games. Too boring. But I wouldn't mind a Worms like game for the DS, if there is one.
  9. Chrono Trigger looks so Animaygayish, but from the videos it looks like it has some solid gameplay. Hmm...
  10. Wow, I can't believe there's even a "M" rated DS game out there. Dementium: The Ward
  11. Pretty awesome. Love the music. And MCA got really tyte muscles from all that dialog typing.
  12. Yay, that should be enough for a start. Thanks.
  13. Oh yes about Sonic Chronicles. Well, not that I'm particularly fond of Sonic and his crew, but it's from Bioware, and it has TB combat I think. Why, do you think it sucks?
  14. Well, I'm pretty new in that area, but from the videos, Castelvania really looked fun. Metroid prime should be kewl as well. I seem to remember there's a Final Fantasy game for the DS as well. Oh, and Warhammer Sqad Command, but that got horrible scores.
  15. Great screenshot. I see like...nothing?
  16. So, in order to restore my inner juvenile self (and to kill idle time while in train) I ordered a petty DS Lite today, and also bought some used games at ebay (Castlevania, Metroid Prime Hunter, Clone Wars). I'm also thinking of getting these games later: Sonic Chronicles, Civilization Revolution, Zelda Phantom Hourglass. Are these games good? Any other stuff you think is fun to play? Also, I want System Shock 1 ported to the DS.
  17. Undying almost scratches on being an alltime classic. It's really very atmospheric, has great art, and is at some spots very scary. The early parts of the game seem to be a bit tedious ("won't budge" comment drove me crazy), but it's nonetheless a must-have for all FPS-Horror fans out there.
  18. Yo, Thorton goes totally badass how he opens doors.
  19. Yeah but Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Thief etc. had ugly characters, yet these games had depth and personality, right? The best game NPCs so far go to Mass Effect. They look pretty, they're animated pretty, and the facial expressions are one of the betters out there.
  20. 1 AM Friday hopefully means Friday very early morning, not Saturday morning. Stupid Americans.
  21. I liked the way how System Shock 2 handled weapons. Sure it was very unbalanced, but I liked the fact that I had to concentrate on upgrading a few weapons that I really required, as opposed to games that have plenty weapons (Deus Ex, Fallout 3 etc) but for the most part never were used.
  22. I'll let Empire ripe a few months with patches before I start playing a game.
  23. Neither F3 nor Bioshock are classics, but nonetheless very good games on their own. Oh well, perhaps I should be a bit more optimistic about Bioshock 2. Knowing that Jordan Thomas is the creative guru, I can hope for a more scary experience this time around.
  24. God thanks finally something. Mid 2009, so that sounds June-ish after all.
  25. It gets some good review scores, but on the other side, I also hear the campaign is rather shallow and only a chain of boring skirmish maps. Anybody played it?
