Monolith used to be the hottest FPS maker back in the days, but I was quite disappointed with their latest offerings, Condemned 2 and FEAR 2. Probably has to do with some changes forced from WB. Either way, here's hope they're working either on NOLF 3 or some new IP.

Nobody knows, but I'm glad they're not wasting their time with FEAR 3.

The simple fact is that due to the distances involved and the fact that you can't travel faster than the speed of light, we're not going to encounter aliens. Ever. They may exist, but we'll never find them. Well, like you can judge how fast Aliens can travel. Just because we can't fathom it doesn't mean it's impossible.

The Hammerhead missions are not really hardcore platforming. It's just a nice deviation of the main game, nothing wrong with that.

Wow, Alien 3 Extended Cut is an altogether different movie compared to the release version. Not sure which one I like more though.

Already did. The first one was bad, but I finsihed watching it. The second one was so bad that I quit shortly after. I'm totally keen to see the two new Alien prequels. Go Ridley go!

Played the Vanquish demo but didn't like it at all. Gonna wait for the Castlevania demo next week.

Currently nothing, but I think I'm gonna get Divinity 2 Flames of Vengeance. I heard it's great albeit being a bit buggy. But it's definitely a better option than this awful Gothic 4.

Ah yes, Four Lions. Was really cool. Right now I'm re-watching all four Alien movies as Extended cut versions.

Well it doesn't really feel "Gothic" to me, but that doesn't automatically make it a bad game.

The worst thing tho is the new protagonist. He lacks any grittiness, but appears to be a sunny-boy instead. Maybe he mans up later in the game but still...

Technically it's a solid effort. It runs smooth maxed out on my Q6600/4970. Graphics are good, but not great. Animations could be better, but then again the game had a smaller budget. Unfortuantely, I ran into a game-stopping bug. The witch said she gave me scrolls so I could defeat some critters but I find them nowhere in my inventory. Hmmm.... Writing is inane and bad, as is the voice acting. But that didn't stop us playing the predecessors either.
