  1. Oh, they're gonna avoid that issue until the bitter end, I agree with that.
  2. And what about used games? That still hasn't been confirmed. I wonder why...

  4. Somebody who gets his gaming news from the telepgraph needs to check his neural systems in the first place...
  5. They can either allow playing and selling used retail games, or they can do it like Steam: Making regular sales on their own respective stores. Both should work.
  6. Wishful thinking. They have neither confirmed, nor denied this.
  7. John Riccitiello's advice to Sony and Microsoft about successfully launching their consoles
  8. Alright jump to 22:00. Feargus basically says big AAA will be a privilege to Studio owned developers, while the likes of Obsidian are only going to create parts of such AAA games. F:NV was relatively cheap to create due to a) an existing engine and b) Ninjas & tools. So while Obsidian probably won't cease development of AAA games in the future, it means they won't take on creating one from scratch, but instead provide assistance to an other developer. Kickstarter and tablet games will be more of a focus in the future. Perhaps a Bioware/Obsidian combo of Kotor 3 could still be possible in the future?
  9. Summary: It's probably for the best. Also that means no Kotor 3 now it seems. **** you very much EA/Disney. But whatever you make Obsidian, my loyalty and money will always follow you 'cause you guys are awesome!
  10. The Walking Dead. Nice little adventure from Telltale in the vein of Heavy Rain, minus the exorbitantly high production values. But it proves you don't need the latter in order to tell a nice little story.
  11. Sony teases new game reveal; nice little trailer: http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/panopticon/
  12. I don't know much about Estonia, apart from that is a Eurozone country, is growing, was for decades under the Soviet boot, and has close relations with the Scandinavians. Also dem wimmin. But yeah, Eurozone man. Very uncertain right now.
  13. Is it really that hard for Obsidian to get dignified deals in today's environment?
  14. Sounds like Dreamland. Sounds like Russia.
  15. Obsidian co-developing Russian MMO "Skyforge"? Google translate: A new low, man.
  16. Metal Gear Rising confirmed for PC Why not. Is it any good?
  17. Yes but it's still a poor corridor shooter.
  18. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/05/17/pre-thief-dark-camelot-footage/ I'd rather pay full price for this than that new Montreal abomination.
  19. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-05-16-former-thq-president-reveals-metro-devs-terrible-work-conditions Ukraine. Great place to make games.
  20. Iron boot? Judging from that interview Sid seems to be quite happy with 2K.
  21. Why would a company owned by a publisher need to resort to kickstarter in the first place?
  22. Baldur's Gate in the NWN2 engine? No thanks. I rather play the IE original over some mod with a botched engine.
