  1. ...although having a killer cyborg dog on your side sure would be cool.
  2. That's pretty strong, coming from a Brit... I'm sure you're now gonna tell me what a "normal" British community is like.
  3. Like I give a damn about the old Austrian Empire. We're better off today wothout those eastern European suckups anyway. Seriously, how can you keep 24 slaves in such condition without noticing anybody? Are such methods still accepted among British society? Must also explain the British Fritz case, where social workers strolled around and "didn't notice anything suspicious". But that's not important. Important is only chanting FOR THE QUEEN AND HER GLORY!!!!
  4. Sorry to inform you Slowtrain, but the game business ain't about entitlement and "serving the fanbase" today anymore. EA can do with it's IP whatever they want. See it on the bright side, at least Peter Molyneux isn't working on it.
  5. I soo bet it's gonna be March. Like ME3. Or XCOM. Or Max Payne 3. Why not add Syndicate to that?
  6. Slavery? Keeping and starving people like dogs? In the middle of the Great Empire of Britannia? Why am I not surprised at all?
  7. Dude, no, just...no. Once you walk down that alley, there's no way back. Indies are a disgrace to the once proud and mighty PC gaming era. @Sogg Maybe you haven't realized it yet, but the business of Activision is only CoD.
  8. Activision owns Arcanum now. And Activision being Activision, don't expect them to sell the license cheaply.
  9. Deck 13? Venetica? Who needs another Adventure game that is being sold to us as an RPG?
  10. Well I read somewhere it's not just a linear FPS, but more akin to GTA. So you got a huge city to explore. Well, we should find out next week when the Swedish Gamereactor mag reveals the game.
  11. You might disagree, but I see more innovation nowadays in shooters/action games than I see with, say RPGs. The great thing about shooters/action games is that they're so...mallable. Mix in RPG elements, make it semi-open world (Fallout 3 anyone?), put in conversation wheels and what not, people are still gonna love it because at it's core, it's visceral combat and great immersive (I know people hate that word) atmosphere. What's not to love? You can present a world much better within that genre than, say a top-down strategy game. Even Bioware realised that a long time ago, and see how they're thriving. Hope it isn't too late for Obsidian to realise this FACT. Well, Fallout NV should have opened their eyes.
  12. I've seen worse reanimations. I mean, Starbreeze making a shooter? They make a game within the genre of their expertise? How could they? Blawablawah... etc. No seriously, it makes sense. 'Cause it will guarantee lots of heaty discussions and b-hurt, thus contributing to the mouth-to-mouth marketing.
  13. Looks pretty awesome. I always enjoyed Starbreeze products. Never played the old Syndicate games, so I'll just treat this as a new IP (same with XCOM). Oh yeah, and please spare us all the whining this time please? Let's keep the discussion to the reboot, and for what it is, namely a SHOOTER Shooter shooter shooter....
  14. Jeremy Soule doesn't compose so much nowadays as he used to be. Why? I'd like him to make music for Bioware again (Dragon Age), 'cause Inon Zur clearly sucks.
  15. So you guys are saying you'd totally get a pirated/cracked copy to play on LAN? Wow.
  16. Chris Roberts making return to games, possibly new Wing Commander? (German)
  17. Now that's a bit far fetched, no? Ever thought about that Blizzard got tired of hunting down cheaters/hackers and shut down their accounts? Not to mention constantly issue patches because some funny hacker screwed up the whole online infrastructure because Blizz decided to make everything open? Why even bother with these people? That's like trying slapping a NDA on the Diablo 3 beta in an age of youtube, facebook, and "You are connected" age. Not even worth it. And LAN? Who even uses that today? LAN used to be cool, like 10 years ago when internet speed used to be a lot slow(er).
  18. You kidding me? Harrison Ford himself stated in an interview not a long time ago that C&A was a silly child movie. ...and a silly child movie is **** by default because...? ...because there's only so many silly child movies someone can take before stop watching movies altogether. Hollywood used to be cool. Like, a 1000 years ago or so. Now it's just ridiculous.
  19. You kidding me? Harrison Ford himself stated in an interview not a long time ago that C&A was a silly child movie.
  20. Only game that I ever really enjoyed using TB combat was Gorky 17. Maybe Obsidian should try to get a copy and play that. I'd pay good money (read: not some pathetic $2) to play something akin to that again.
  21. I wonder how Shadow Sun from Ossian will turn out. At least it doesn't have Anime graphics...
  22. I like those Wh40K artwoks Wals provided much more than the kid...I mean colorful version we see in Space Marine.
  23. Lol, "free time". I didn't know devs had so much time to put work into a side project in the first place.
