  1. And the results are in! Here is your #1 game of all time, Obsidian forums! 1= Quest 64 (1998) Developed by Imagineer Published by THQ Votes: 36 Points: 3600 Voters: algroth (100), Bartimaeus (100), Leferd (100), Raithe (100), Katphood (100), redneckdevil (100), Pidesco (100), IndiraLightfoot (100), eimatshya (100), Fenixp (100), ShadySands (100), Hurlshot (100), Keyrock (100), Tigranes (100), SonicMage117 (100), evilcat (100), Epaminondas (100), Amentep (100), TrueNeutral (100), Zoraptor (100), Malcador (100), injurai (100), marelooke (100), Mamoulian War (100), melkathi (100), Jozape (100), Humanoid (100), Fiasco (100), ZyroMane (100), Huinehtar (100), Wormerine (100), Messier-31 (100), Azdeus (100), blotter (100), FlintlockJazz (100), SadExchange (100) I'd like to congratulate you all for picking the perfect game to conclude this wonderful series by algroth! Truly, no game deserved it more than Quest 64. The thread is now done and there's nothing left to discuss, so uh, we can just, you know, close this down now. Yeah.
  2. Yeah, I wrote about it probably a month ago: played it for the first time with a friend in the co-op mode, and we were not impressed. The hitboxes-staggering dichotomy was one that they, uh, really got wrong, probably because they made it a dichotomy at all when they really shouldn't have. Would've been fairly easy to solve if they had just made it so that only attacks over a certain stamina level caused staggering (or over a certain health percentage of the enemy, or...anything but what they did with the magically disappearing and inconsistent hitboxes).
  3. If you look very closely at my list, you can see the telltale signs of a truly vengeful ne'er-do-well who very specifically chose games to spite our dear SonicMage (...ignore that we apparently actually had a game in common, from what I'm seeing of his list right now).
  4. wow, hard to believe this many games tied for #94
  5. I remember when I first played DS1, I never used the kick or jump attack attack because I was using a cheap Logitech controller that just would not do it more than 25% of the time. Later, I went to an Xbox 360 controller and it become way, way easier to do consistently (although still not quite perfectly consistent).
  6. It was either him or Eddie Lacy. Your team's brass went with Eddie Lacy.
  7. Talk about an impact player. Only QB to have a passer rating >=100 against the Jaguars this season.
  8. hell of a way to end a season, dem crapboys (e): rofl, kicking a FG on second down and MISSING it, even better.
  9. And a very merry new year to you, too!
  10. Meanwhile, your list very nearly forced me to make Hitman: Blood Money my final entry...but alas, I felt the game had one too many flaws to be deserving.
  11. Looking through everyone else's lists, I would like to amend mine with a final 5 games to bring up my total count to 25. My original list was this: Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (2000) - BioWare The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) - Nintendo Undertale (2015) - Toby Fox S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007) - GSC Game World MOTHER aka Earthbound Beginnings/Zero (1989) - Ape Banjo-Kazooie (1998) - Rare Diablo II (2000) - Blizzard North Dark Souls (2011) - FromSoftware Planescape: Torment (1999) - Black Isle Studios Terranigma (1995) - Quintet Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest (1995) - Rare Bloodborne (2015) - FromSoftware MOTHER 2 aka Earthbound (1994) - Ape Half-Life (1998) - Valve Corporation Portal (2007) - Valve Corporation Super Mario World (1990) - Nintendo Age of Empires II (1999) - Ensemble Studios Neverwinter Nights II: Mask of the Betrayer (2007) - Obsidian Entertainment Life Is Strange (2015) - Dontnod Entertainment Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan) aka Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (USA) (1986) - Nintendo ...and these are my final 5: Faster Than Light (2012) - Subset Games Papers, Please (2013) - 3909 LLC WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002) - Blizzard Entertainment The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991) - Nintendo ...Dang it, I can't think of a final game. Give it to...uh...screw it, give it to Tetris (whateveryear) - the developer.
  12. The primary differences are supposed to be viewing angles and colors.
  13. Too bad the DLC is still another $25...
  14. looks like the ignore list is back on the menu, boys
  15. Nothing on Twitter or Reddit about it, so not sure where he's getting it from.
  16. (e): actually, I lied, there actually is a game I want to play on there
  17. Say hello to the new sale, same as the old sale.
  18. I wouldn't say "disappeared", given that his latest post was yesterday.
  19. Hey, at least he isn't calling you the worst teacher in America like Sharp_one might.
  20. Yeah, George Lucas really outdid himself there.
  21. Still not sure why Before the Storm was made by an unrelated company from the guys who made the original. Seems like a weird thing to do for a brand new property that probably needs another game or two to become well-established. At least BtS didn't turn out horribly (from the sounds of it, anyways - I haven't played it yet).
  22. I actually have not. Somehow, I have resisted clicking on it about the 13 times or so you've posted it so far. Gotta stay strong...
  23. In other news, Dems officially force a 50-50 split in Virginia's House of Delegates, as a very close and contested election finished its recount today with the Dem winning by just 1 vote. Republicans lost both their supermajority and their majority now in this election.
