So gunfight hub, dialogue hub, gunfight hub, dialogue hub. And if there is conversations during one of those combat hubs the gun is automatically holstered?

I'm just not seeing this, or more correctly hearing this. If you find the VA crap of DA, you must find most rpg VA crap, because it seems like the usual Bio/Obsidian quality. As for the graphics quality, it seems to change from trailer to trailer, sometimes I wonder if the poorer ones aren't the consoles version, either way they are nothing stellar. But then so many people like to say that the focus rpg devs put on graphics are the reason rpgs are becoming 'crap'/shallow etc.

Obviously the first, sure undying adulations is great, but it doesn't pay the bills(Troika),they would rather have 3+ million in sale and the undying adulation. You know, sort of like Bethesda. Yes, Bioware are considered a 'heavyweight', it's what happens when you create 5 or 6 commercially and critically succesful games. Well they are playing AP and therefore have better insights then you. So if they feel it's inferior to ME, they are pretty much allowed to. And yes ME was advanced in this area, leagues ahead of any rpg to date. Bloodlines was a great game, with more depth and replayability then ME, but when it comes to digital acting, thats a joke. Oh looky, here we go again: Oh no, previewer don't agree with my opinion, *throws toys out of pram* they must not of been paid.

Most responses on this forum will say no. I will say nothing will matter if this game doesn't ship 2mil+ considering it's on both consoles and PC.

It's already out. Isn't it? I read the article about it and spore months ago. I'm also sure the steam version doesn't have it. I'm pretty sure that style of DRM is dead. For DA:O everyone that buys DA new gets Shale(pc companion) for those that buy it second hand pay $14.95. I think they might be using Stardocks model. Which is a good thing.

NWN2 patches sometimes did more damage than good. Having said that though, I personally never had much trouble with NWN2 and it's expansions, but the posts on the forums tell me I was the exception not the rule. Here we go again, the fanboys are giving Goldstein **** once again for that preview. Although 2 of 16 comments flaming him is a pretty good ratio for him. Still it's not APs most glowing preview.

Not an excuse, it's a fact, doesn't change the lesser quality, but does explain why. Agree to disagree. No it explains why it is Bio weakest SP/OC effort. It was rushed, by both publisher and dev. Lucasart wanted to quickly capitalize on the originals comercial success, Bio wasn't interested in doing a sequel, so it was passed to Obsidian. Obsidian, while the devs were experienced, was still a new company/team and as such not able to complete the game in time. Both are at fault. I would say Oblivion was a step back from Morrowind, and FO3 was three steps forward.

No not really, the only one there that can match Bio is Obsidian. And then there best effort MOTB, had Mitsoda as the lead who as we all know, is no longer at Obsidian. SOZ was never a game that was going to deliver a strong narrative with interesting characters. NWN2 OC is far better then NWN. NWN wasn't even going to have an OC through part of it's development. KoTOR 2 is proof of a rushed game. Nothing more, but even if it wasn't I still would of prefered the original.

I've said it before and I will say it again, Star Trek is not all about ship combat, many devs seem to think this, but it's not the case. Now I'm not saying I haven't enjoyed many ST games(Bridge Commander was the best IMO, Elite Force was good too), but I wish a dev would get a hold of it and make something besides ship battles. It's a shame Bethesda has forgotten about the ST licence they have, hell I would love to play the Elder Scrolls: Star Trek. Because funnily enough, it would suit their open world/sandbox design.

No not really. No one said anything about not wanting romances, there was talk about M/M romance and that is the respone by those on the bio boards when someone posts something derogatory in those threads.

Have no desire to do that, just as I said before, was voicing an opinion, if you got a problem with it, too bad. But you do realize you are 'bitching' about 'bitching'? I don't recall saying I hate the bio boards, just that some of it's contents raise an eyebrow.

Bitchy much? Never said it was a good idea, also seems that the ME2 thread would be appropriate for it, given you know it's a Bioware game. But hey I'd rate it on par with the, defending the honour of HL2.

Pfft, I'm not jumping to any conclusions, it's been said guns out all the time. So if I think that is a bad thing, I'm going to say it's bad. Is it going to stop me from purchasing the game, hell no, but do I think the game is poorer if said occurrence happens, yes.

That doesn't make them mandatory for the player. It was more about the undue/disproportionate attention romances got. I've got no problem with romances, in fact I can enjoy them, I just don't see them as the main point in bio's games.
