  1. I think, the relationship between Ukraine and Georgia has been positively boosted during the war, as Georgian are amongst the most numbered members of foreign legions, and they have a lot of know-how about soviet era/russian doctrines, so they should be amongst the most useful as well. As I said. We’ll see how this will unfold. As far as I know, even Estonia has raised demands to get back their territory, which was stolen from them by Russia during/after WW2…
  2. IMHO, this will depend on how big ties they have made to Azerbaijan during this year, because they are significantly backed by Turkey, and Azerbaijan hates Russia as much as Georgia AFAIK. The other thing is, how big damage to UA will be able to do to Russia during the winter. To me it seems like foolish thing to do, but realistically, Georgia will not have better opportunity to get their territory back, than during this conflict. And you never know, maybe US will send one or two HIMARSes there with some backing as a goodwill gesture… Only Time will tell… The only other possibility for Georgia to get it back would be, that if Ukraine’s victory would be so decisive, that they could force Russia to anything, when signing peace treaty. And as much as I would love to see that. I do not think, that this is realistic scenario in the foreseeable future…
  3. According to one of our Main TV stations (which is in my eyes not the pinnacle of journalistic integrity, although they do have very high reliability, if they do not intentionally omit some stuff) Georgia will be holding referendum, whetter declare war to Russia, to take back Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Slovak trolls paid by Russia are now whining all over local “internet”. And I am enjoying it, while it lasts
  4. The same rhetoric was used, when Soviet Union invaded Czechoslovakia in 1968. It ended without slaughter though, with few people being killed in my homecity as well. The reason why no fight against USSR happened, was that we were at that time country overwhelmed by communist collaborators...
  5. There is still a possibility of HRIM-2 system already existing. Neptune missiles were for everyone just a fiction, until they sunk Moskva. This one would be able to attack Kerch Bridge soon. But there is a lot of S400 around, and this if it exists, has definitely very limited stockpile of missiles, so shooting it to soon, might be just a waste of missiles and money for UA. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hrim-2
  6. With the current armament, the Kerch bridge would be in range only from deoccupied Crimea. Namely Primorsky city is the furthest one from where it would be reachable.
  7. Tales of Symphonia Remastered is going to be released in early 2023. Obvious choice for getting as much money out of the remaster as possible, but myself, I am kind of sad, that they have not chosen Tales of the Abyss instead Also, it looks this time, that they will not release the Symphonia “2”. https://en.bandainamcoent.eu/tales-of/news/tales-of-returns-one-of-the-franchise-most-beloved-stories-tales-of-symphonia released on Steam, PS4, NSW.
  8. Wrong thread
  9. Navalny is also a Russian nationalist, but I think some of his “nationalism and racism” could be attributed to the similar Russian rhetorics, as they are using against Ukraine. …yada, yada, Ukraine, yada, nazi, yada, special military operation… But I have seen at least one article about him on Washington Post, where he was quoted speaking very dirty about Georgians…
  10. This one article is very interesting. You just need to put it through Google Translate from Czech, to your prefered language. Exclusive interview with Ukrainian SBU officer, about Kharkiv counter-offensive and more. https://www.seznamzpravy.cz/clanek/zahranicni-spion-popsal-taktiku-jak-presne-ukrajinci-pracuji-na-osvobozeni-od-okupantu-214010
  11. Speaking about hilarious stuff in Russia, there is one about that ferris wheel. Two Russian hacking groups have claimed responsibility and demand repercussions at Russian government for the failed defence of Kharkiv Oblast, else they would destroy it And believe me, if there is someone ****posting some Russian doing utterly stupid and hilarious things, it’s most likely truth Like this one
  12. According to one newspaper in Slovakia, there is information, that 84 deputies already signed the demand for Putin’s resignation. As much I would like to believe it, this newspaper is in my eyes not amongst the most credible one. So we’ll see. Would be big breakthrough if that would be true…
  13. People are also not aware, that currently the most blame for ****ed up invasion, is on the shoulders of Shoigu. Putin already works on getting out of blame for this. So unless there will be more than these 18 deputies, he might still be save. That could also change with the fall of Kherson, because as kanisatha has mentioned, the most elite Russian forces and a lot of FSB is stationed there.
  14. Approximate cost of captured/destroyed Russian equipment during 1 week long Kharkiv offensive is estimated by Forbes at almost 700 million USD. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/09/12/7367169/
  15. Little bit of speculation. The deepstate map, which I consider as one of the most accurate maps, already have some grey zones extended behind Oskil river. The fact is, if Russia does not have defesive lines already established in Luhansk Oblast, they are pretty precarious situation, as most of the retreating forces from Kharkiv Oblast are not combat ready anymore, and it can take a lot of time for them to get consolidated and regrouped in working BTGs… https://deepstatemap.live/en#8/49.654/37.336
  16. There are rumours, that UA army continues deep into Luhansk oblast far from Oskil river… I am now starting to worry about overextension If that is not another PsyOps
  17. Comparison of taken and lost territory for Russia since the beginning of June.
  18. You are again escaping the question and scapegoating. Vysokopillia has been occupied during the first 2 months of offensive, so no one was defending it, that’s why it was not destroyed. Popasna is a prime example, how Russian acts, when the go full on offensive and someone defends. Vysokopillia on the other hand, despite being much smaller, is the prime example how Ukraine is going on offensive, when someone is defending. So I answer for you, Russia almost completely levelled Popasna with artillery before they took it. They are doing The same currently as well, when they are shelling currently liberated villages in Kherson blast all day long… Maybe you’ve missed it, but Ukraine has a lot of artillery currently as well, and despite that, they choose not to destroy everything in their path, like Russians do. Now back to Vysokopyllia. Some time between july/august there were reports that Ukraine encircled 1200 Russian soldiers at their stronghold. Have you noticed any crazy artillery, to get it under their control? No, because it did not happen. Instead Ukraine fortified their positions around the city and pushed heavily for disruption of Russian logistic and command hubs, until they attrited the Russian forces there, and were able to defeat them, without ruining the whole city, like Russians did previously with Mariupol, Rubizhne, Sieverodonetsk, Hirske, Pisky, Popasna and dozens of other smaller or larger cities, which they levelled to the ground… it took Ukraine one month longer to liberate it, but they saved countless of civilian lives and infrastructure. EDIT: the simple reason, why I took Vysokopillia as an example is, that there are no settlements occupied after April, and recently liberated, which were not destroyed by Russia beforehand…
  19. Well, You can for example tell the difference between capturing Popasna by Russians, and liberating Vysokopillia by Ukrainians, can you? Both are strongholds, where the opposing side have decided not to retreat and defend them until the planned retreat. Both offensive took approximately the same time, and both were in good conditions, before the attacking side decided to get them
  20. Well, that’s why I have asked for your input on comparing how Russian and Ukrainians are waging their current offensives. That’s the obvious most recent example, isn’t it? Clearly you can give us your insights on differences how they both impact civilians. I am still waiting for your answer
  21. Well, Zoraptor, judging by your logic, if I wanted to be an utter cynic, NATO bombing YU and attacking civilians, happened, because they “took an example” from Soviet Union killing civilians in Afghanistan, which took example of USA killing civilians in Vietnam… and so on, until we end up somewhere in Antics And it will be always the same kind of whataboutism, you are bringing up all the time. Yes there were many atrocities in the past, committed by different people. But currently, it is Russia who deliberately kills civilians, not USA, nor Rome… Just for a second try to compare Russian offensives in last few months with current Ukrainian offensive… Behind Russian actions, all you can see is completely destroyed towns and villages with thousands upon thousands killed civilians. Now look, and tell us what you see behind Ukrainian actions… Although, I am 100% sure that even in this case, you will be able to squeeze in there some kind of NATO/USA/Ukraine bad as well “trivia”…
  22. Please enlighten us, how the illegal NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, make the current Russian invasion of Ukraine a just cause? Or do you have by any chance access to similar resolution legalizing their attacks?
  23. If they would use half the effort, which they use for targeting civilians to actually target UA army, they would be celebrating in Kyiv for a few months already. edit: coincidentally blackout in Belgorod as well. And electricity mostly restored in UA.
