  1. I have to do that some day as well. Shortly after I have purchased it on a release day, I played it a lot, but at some point, I just ended up playing Pazaak all day long, and then some new games have been released, so I’ve never actually finished it
  2. Anyone here has some experience (positive or negative) with ATOM RPG and the standalone expansion Trudograd?
  3. Report from Avdiyivka frontline, Dmitri has in other tweet also a link to the source (if younknow Russian language). Interesting is, that it’s circulating on Russian telegrams a lot, also another interesting thing is a news, that UA destroyed troops deep in Donbas which were meant to reinforce the meat grinder, which was not reported so far by UA side.
  4. We’ll see in a month or so, if RU can sustain the self-inflicted destruction of their troops, and UA the number of shells shot at them. From what I have seen, IMHO there is a very high chance that Avdiyivka will fall, but the cost is beyond irrational, and if UA could hold long enough with favourable casualties, this could weaken RU army as much as banging their heads against the Kyiv and they might lose some territory again. But as she said, I am worried about the possible stockpiling of crusie missiles for the winter as well. But as always, they will probably shoot only at civilian targets, so UA troops should be safe.
  5. First estimates of body counts during RU Avdiyivka cluster**** are out. No wonder, the UA love their bottlenecks so much By new UA Minister of Defense: https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/10/28/7426140/ And by UK Ministry of Defence.
  6. OMG, man ends up longer at budiness trip, and someone already ninjaed his job!
  7. Well, "we" is correct in the context of Lithuania being part of EU, and as such EU made a promise, which is so far not fulfilled, mainly due to the Orban's obstructions And Lithuania together with other Baltic states made one of the biggest donations to UA in connection to countries GDP. So they fully deserve the pass, when criticizing others
  8. Yeah Avdiivka, if Russia has enough meat to grind, will probably fall in week or two. Still Ukraine, with such terrible Russian losses during this offensive, has already achieved victory in this particular battle. And it will become even worse as they will have less "iron" to cover their troops. This is one more assessment from the front, from yesterday evening, before the situation has worsened according to Butusov.
  9. Well. I would agree about this assessment of yours, if Russia had unlimited personel. Which is not true. Currently Ukraine has more troops than Russia can possibly raise, as Putin is affraid to call for total mobilization, as it would made much bigger stain on his “election” as few hundred thousand corpses from Russian colonial provinces no one gives a crap about at home The other reason why I cannot fully agree with your assessment is that Russia helps tremendously to Ukrainians with their “brilliant” tactics, all we need to do is look at all the Russian “glorious offensives at Kyiv, Bilohorovka, Vuhledar and currently at Avdiyivka (etc.). All Ukraine needs to do, is to set their artillery at fixed points and load it as fast as possible as Russia is sending one meat battalion after another. And now Ukraine has cluster bombs which makes their job even easier. As Elerond said, Afghanistan won the war of attrition against Soviet Union, which ended up in collapse of Soviet Union, and Ukraine is playing out for them even worse in that regard. War of attrition is not won i. Two years though… So unfortunatelly for Ukraine, this will be very painful for them as well, but… I recommned you these videos as well for your research on the matter, which analyzes the attrtional warfare:
  10. That’s pretty nice gimmick… I do not remember such feature in any other game… ever
  11. Yes, the Ukrainians should also do what Russia and throw thousands over thousands of soldiers, run them over with their own BMPs while dropping them of, and hope that at least one percent of the soldiers would not get cluster****ed so they could put thier flag in the middle of a destroyed wasteland. That’s how proper offensive looks like, right?
  12. I am the owner of Gold Ticket from the start of the campaign, but I was not logged into my account for more than 5 years
  13. I ended up in final dungeon of Chapter 12 in Star Ocean 5. I have almost finished the storyline, and I need to get down three more bosses including final one. But this walkthrough is my trophy hunting one, so I am slowly getting more and more of materials for various crafts and getting some Battle Trophies as well. These trophies are much easier to stomach than the trophies in SO4, and there are much less of them, but there is on ridiculous one... 1 million hits on enemies... And I have after 100 hours or so, around 180k we'll see how this one will fare...
  14. Russia made another record yesterday. At Avdiivka Again, this is the only media, which I have found and could be posted here…
  15. Probably, they moved to Israel for the very same reason already (including “chief rabbi”, who was threathened because he was not willing to publicly support the war). As Russia is the country with the biggest number of neonazis in population in the World
  16. Nah, I know very well how that works, I am even willing to doubledip on some games. I get the game on release and GOTY after some time, if they offer a physical edition, and the game is exceptionally good. It's my personal way, how to reward the developers for their effort. I just loathe the Paradox way of DLC production, which Relic is a big fan of Myself I do not play their games, but I like to watch the let's plays. They do not sell it on GOG, so no sell for me. The issue is that most of the games are designed solely from the financial aspect, and they are missing soul. That's why I lately rather play indie games, even if they are flawed, because you can feel the very souls of the team put into some of them. Unlike the Triple A's
  17. well, they are saying exact the same since they got the WH licence, and they are still making these DLCs. And I can understand, that all of the people get sooner or later highly annoyed by this tactics, as DLCs for this game is dirt cheap to produce, and guaranteed sale And I did not read Steam reviews. I have read some articles, and watched a guy, which I know, that he loves them despite these shenanigans, and I trust his reviews of TB content. But yeah, this does not mean, you or other people might not like it.
  18. Everyone is talking about how bad this one is, so maybe this time it might not be much off.
  19. I am moving forward, with Star Ocean 5 on Galaxy difficulty. I am in chapter 10, and I got again access to fast travel. Which makes the game much more fun again. I am trying to create some new items by synthesis, which I have never made before and slowly filling up the list of items, enemies and battle trophies to fulfill the prerequisites for some trophies. I am missing a lot, and I will definitelly need one more playthrough on Chaos difficulty, so I am not wasting to much time with the stuff As I said, I am again having much more fun with the game, and looking forward to finishing it. Mainly because I completely forgot most of the plot after 7 years
  20. Just wow, the Russian offensive near Avdiyivka is such “massive success”, that in Donetsk, they ran out of body bags
  21. @xzar_monty regarding the pipeline and data cable between Estonia and Finland, Stoltenberg made a statement today. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/10/11/7423592/ Do you think, something might happen, or the Finish government might choose the similar approach like Romania and Poland, and use a wording, which will try to deescalate the situation, so the NATO would not need to be involved?
  22. Russians started offensive against Avdiivka stronghold. And it did not went very well. Here is a summary of their losses during this offensive: And the only available video, which does not break the community rules of the boards:
  23. Despite not much time, I got to Chapter 7 of Star Ocean 5. And as before, during my first playthrough, this is the place where the game starts to slog a lot, due to its flawed world and quest building. In some cases the game gives you fetch or hunt quest, to which you have to run around the whole map with no way of fast travel, and this takes sometimes more than 15 minutes. And it does it a lot of time. The fast travel option the game removed in chapter 4 or 5, and reintroduces it back again much later. But the damage to the enjoyment of the game has been already done. Despite that, I still like the game much more than Final Fantasy XV, which was released by Squeenix around the same time. Mostly due to the world map being much smaller and less empty. So you get over the most painful fetchquests much much faster.
