  1. Hard choice, but probably HK-47 just cause he made me laugh. Hes definetly got some very opiniated thoughts on life. Its weird, hes the assasin droid killing people for fun(mostly), but hes probably got the most straight-forward view on life then any other character. Everyone else has their own little problems and demons, but HK has it all figured out. Thats messed up.
  2. You could always go the way of Jolee Bindo, right smack dab in the middle, and be able to be your self all the time, making descisions how you want to make them, not by following some code from either the light or dark side.
  3. You'd be a Moral relativist, then. I.e. you don't hold that there are any absolute ethical truths. Like eating babies is wrong under all circumstances, for example. Thats not what I meant when I said the DS is your own choice and views. I'm not saying I support it, I'm just trying to say that the "DS" is not absolute in the fact that the "boundaries" of the dark side can be changed and peoples view of the DS will change with their circumstances. Just look at our world today. 300 years ago, white europeans saw nothing wrong with having slaves or treating them like dirt, not like actual people. Today, the very idea of slavery is disgusting and revolting to everybody, even those whose ancestors probably had slaves. The view of society just changes over time.
  4. Just wondering what you thought the best crystals are/ best crystal combinations for your lightsaber. Which ones were most effective for LS/DS? And what kind of lens and other upgrades do you think worked the best? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the advice, but I did that already and had Visas in the party (crap). Know any other ways to get influence?
  6. Do you know if there was any specific reason she used a lightsaber like that? Like it went with her style, had significant importance to her? or did she just like it like that?
  7. Wasn't there some Sith apprentice, I think Asajji Ventress, or something like that who used two curved hilted lightsaber that could make a double bladed lightsaber when put together? I think she was in the comic books from during the Clone Wars. There was a big thing going on between her and Obi-wan if I remember right.
  8. How do you get to convert Bao-dur? I've got a lot of influence with him, but every time I talk to him, there are no dialogue options.
  9. True, especially since there will be different fighting styles for different time periods. Learn to fight in a time of war, you'll learn a more agressive form. Go up against a lot of blasters, and your technique will be more defensive. All the people in the poll are extremely good swordsman, so you have to look at who they fought to get a true idea of how good they were.
  10. If you dont get the code right you can always just shoot the control panel.
  11. A trip to Mandalore would be cool. Get to see the mandolorians at work. Would be a nice cross between a city and a rural farm.
  12. In K1 I used Jolee a ton as a ranged spellcaster, and then switched between Canderous and Carth. Used Canderrous on the Star Forge. Put him in Cassus Fetts armor and upgrade his gun all the way and you have a real beast when used with rapid shot. Used myself as the main close range damage machine. Didn't use other characters much. Just thought I had a good combination. In K2 I used Kreia in the same role as I did Jolee in K1, and usually used Visas, Handmaiden, or Atton for melee. This allowed me to back off and use some force powers. Atton was really good once you got him to be a Jedi and used him with his Spirit ability. Kept coming back and dealing out the damage.
  13. I'd probably have to say sacrifice. I would like to see the Mandolorians really get into their groove and start kicking major butt. That will be sweet. The book as a whole is a good turning point for the series. Without revealing anything, lets just say it gets personal now.
  14. It all really has to do with your point of view and how you look at the world. If you think its acceptable to kill one person to save another, then its your choice. I think every individual person really defines their own dark side. The dark side as what the average population sees is just what is acceptable and what is not. That idea will change over time.
  15. In K2, I have always found it pretty easy to get the Zeiason Sha Initiate Armor and the two Jal Shey versions. My question is where and how do you get the more powerful versions like the Zeison Sha Warrior armor or Darth Malaks armor? Is there a certain level I have to be at or something I have to do to get them? Or is finding them just pure luck? Thanks for the help.
  16. It almost makes it worse that we know the good ending is there, but they didn't put it in. I almost would have rather just had the bad ending and leave it at that instead of knowing that a really good one was that close to being put in the game and was ultimately left out. Still, there is hope (Restoration Project)
  17. That guy wasn't even a true Sith master. He was still an apprentice. The only reason people have trouble with him is because you haven't discovered your full potential yet. If you've done even a half decent job with your character, at the end of the game, Revan could whip that guy with both hands tied behind his back, blindfolded, and having to hold his lightsaber between his toes.
  18. It would be nice to have different overall goals on the planets, instead of the same goal for every planet, like in K2 and K1. Maybe you could solve a political crisis on one world, fight in a war on another to get an important ally, find a crucial item on another, ect. ect. It just gets kind of old doing the same overall thing on all the planets.
  19. Its sad, really, cause if you add the extra content that was left out, Obsidian made a very good and very deep game. Its a great story, just has major holes that should have and could have been covered.
  20. Dont even think GO-TO has quite gotten to that level of hatred yet. Still, he is the most evil and hatable character in the game by far.
  21. True, but that comes almost 4000 years before the others are even alive, and probably didn't include all the Jedi and Sith up to that point either. When talking abot Tulak, Kreia does say that the Jedi and Sith of today are "mere children" compared to the old masters, so that could include unknown Jedi or Sith
  22. Obsidian left out some major parts to the end of the game and the story line (not enough time to put them in? ran out of money?) but there is a way, I forget how, to get the "real" ending. Its embedded in the game somewhere. From the videos I've seen, it actually might have been pretty good. Oh well
  23. I'm new to this thread, and haven't read all of the previous posts, so forgive me if this topic has already been discussed. I have a little theory I'd like to throw out there and see what you think: What if, in Kotor III, there is an invasion from outside the galaxy by an unknown force that causes the galaxy to unite and become the weak Republic Palpatine overthrows thousands of years later? That might not be quite a shock, but the next part might be: The invaders are a combo Yuuz-han-vong and the "actual" Sith (Species) led by a Dark Lord left over from Exar Kuns little fiasco a few hundred years back. While you might think thats impossible, here are a few things that helped me come up with the theory: 1. Almost 100% of the time, when the game talks about the Sith as a species, they almost always say something like "havn't been seen in the galaxy for hundreds of years", "Sith were cast out", or "Their empire destroyed. it never says anything about the Species actually, with a 100% certainty, that they are all dead. 2. Not for sure about this, but there had to be at least a couple Sith Lords who didn't die in the Hyperspace War and weren't killed off by Exar Kun, Freedon Nadd ect. ect. 3. Zonama Sekot enters the galaxy as a seed from Yuuz-han-tar, or more likely is coming to frutation as planet around this time period. There is the possibilty that, as the Vong destroyed their galaxy and their homeworld, a large fleet could have been dispatched to track down Zonama Sekot. 4. While Zonama Sekot might not be the reason the Vong are in the Galaxy, they are there as evidenced by a conversation with Canderous in Kotor I. It went something like this: -He starts telling you one of his war stories where he lead an assault on a ring of ice and uses thermal detanators on them to destroy the enemy. When one of the ice boulders blows up, however, there was something laying doramnt inside. It came to life and flew toward his fleet. -You respond "It was a ship!" -He says yes, then says something that makes you reply "It was alive?" -He says yes again, then explains how it flew at his fleet, and destroyed most of it with molten projectiles. He then tells you how they tracked it to the edge of space, but stopped when it went beyond the galactic rim, because there was no way it could survive in open space like that. That ends the conversation. 5. This encounter could explain what Revan found in the Unknown regions when he went dark, and what he went back to destroy later. 6. If the Vong were in the galaxy, their lack of a force presence would explain why Kreia said there were places in the galaxy where "There are wounds in the force, and at these places, no one can hear it" or at least something along those lines. 7. This is probably one of the weirdest theories I have, but here goes: Not Yoda particulary, as he is not old enough, but his race was the one that the Vong hated so much for defeating them in their war with the machine-using race that caused the Vong to go all "primitive". 8. As the only three known members of yodas species has shown, they are all force sensitive, and very powerful too, so they could have stripped the Vong of the force after defeating them. 9. It also could have been Yodas species that shepered Sekot to this galaxy, away from Vong control. 10. This would also explain why no one knows what species Yoda is, why there aren't many like him in the galaxy, and why no one knows where their homeworld is. I know it was an extremely long post, so thanks for reading it. Let me know what you think. If you have any questions, just ask.
