Lol, Damn. I didn't know it was that shallow. I was looking to see what romance with compliment my playthroughs (example: Maia romance and siding with RDC as an Aumaua merc).

I was wondering about some of the content. It's not that I want to know what exactly happens during the progress of the game (unless you would like) but more of the context. 1. Like what type of relationship (playful, serious, ect) 2. What is some focus of the romance (example: Maia and her bird) Maybe how you felt about the relationship overall. Anything you want to add. I know the natural flow of the friendship is intertwined with it, maybe the romance complimented it well? Open discussion.

Ouch, looks like console versions will release much later than I thought. It looks like quite possibly February or March 2019 if it follows up after the third DLC and 4.0 patch.

Hey! In hopes that the team looks over some topics. I humbly request a unique hatchet! Lol. I just feel like the two we currently have kind of pigeonhole into certain builds. Nothing awful but I just want to have a hatchet with a fresh different direction. I'm not demanding it, just hoping. Anyone else looking forward to a new unique weapon of their specific type that could perform with different builds than what they are sporting for currently?

Yes, but the dagger modal works only vs melee weapons and most creatures don't use weapons (fangs, claws, etc. aren't considered weapons). Ha I never realized. And the Skrim bonus from Gladiator's sword is 5 defl across the board? It seems like it is across the board as long as you are wielding a shield. At least from the wording, but I don't know in practice. If it is only range, hopefully they will modify the wording.

So does Gladiator's Sword really only have one upgrade (Sharpened Blade)?

I agree that your set up is awesome. I don't remember why the Apex Ward was not my top pick for a dodge tank. ..hmm, isn't it locked out behind a heavy negative rep with the Huana and a high tier ship battle with that faction? The very faction that would have your character fit in with the cool aumuau appearance.

Does majority of people "abuse" the Empowerment button? Or do people usually use it to restore power to continue using abilities instead of auto-attacking (either from mistakes or prolonged fights) or empower an ability that a foe is weak against to gain an upper hand or turn the tide? I know you said it feels like cheating but it serves it's purpose mechanically. Those who use it aggressively by resting a lot to steam roll encounters over and over seems like cheating but I don't think the Devs planned it for that. Players can exploit it but players who choose not to, don't have to.

How do y'all feel about the Gladiator's Sword and Bronlar's Phalanx paired together? Also, as an Unbroken fighter. Is it actually overkill or does the equipment and subclass compliment each other well? What other weapon and shield would synergize better for an Unbroken if the above is subpar?

True, plus the Falcon Helm adds another -10% Recovery. I always thought DEX was the most important due to hitting the fastest but it wouldn't be better if the hits aren't as strong ..Hmm.

I know that there are age old questions. I'm not here to say who is right or wrong. I know many classes require different layouts depending on their build. I just have general questions and any feedback or information to add is welcome. I know some basis of the conversations are objective since there is statistics to back up the claim so even that is welcome in the conversation to nail it down. Many people are saying that Might isn't as profitable on Rogues because of their damage modifiers (and Might is addictive). Would the same be said about a Two Handed weapon user as a Aumaua Devoted Fighter that sports a 16 Might instead of 20? I've heard that Perception is a great attribute as far as accuracy of attacks and spells. I'm trying to figure it out.. why would 4 points for 4 accuracy outweigh putting those 4 points elsewhere (outside of PotD)? I'm not saying it is a bad choice. I know it slides the scale closer to Hits/Crits (PEN aside), I'm just baffled by the +1 ACC per point and Resolve's 1 Deflection per point. I have three planned playthroughs (Two Handed) Aumaua Devoted Fighter. (Arquebus) Wood Elf Sharpshooter Ranger. (Dual Wielding Scimitar) Chanter that I am considering race and subclass at the moment. Here me out, I really want to hear the community's outlook. I understand it is a small part of your character and that talent choices/equipment define a character more. I would feel better knowing what is considered great in your eyes. Otherwise, I will likely restart countless times, lol. Any input is welcome. I've actually decided to multiclass and dual wield my Chanter due to people responding to a topic on weapon question.

I think with Arquebus that the two items would compliment the build. It just seems that the two items plus gunner talent might have too harsh of diminishing returns but if I can get it down with the Chanter phrase as well, I could get the reload time cut more than half with 18+ Dexterity. Hmm.. So instead of 6.8 seconds, I could possibly get it to 3.5 or less with DOC breastplate and the four reductions.

Nice to hear about the rapier though. More is better regardless of its' stats.

I forgot about the Two Hander Battleaxe. I'm hoping they release some more weapons of certain types by the time that the third DLC is wrapped up.

Does the Sharpshooter's Garb (Gunnery: -20% Reload Speed) and Acina's Tricorn (Shootist: -20% Reload Speed) stack with other? Or does one of the enchantments become suppressed?

It's not really a class but I would like the Gunhawk subclass (with the addition of a bird companion). Perhaps just add a type of bird immune to engagement for all rangers.. and add Gunhawk's benefits to Sharpshooter with lower beneficial effects to not become too OP. P.S.- Nevermind. It wouldn't provide much benefit for bow users. Just add a gunner-type subclass.

I'm waiting on a PS4 port.. I check every day to see an announcement of timeframe or preorder button. The minute I see a preorder of Deadfire on PS4, I'm ordering the best edition I can (if there is different "tiers").

Boeoer, I'm sorry to revive an old topic but I am hoping they add at least ONE more unique weapon to: Arbalest (maybe two more) Crossbow (maybe two more) Battleaxe (maybe two more) Club Wait,..the more I list, I'm starting to think maybe half of the weapons are underrepresented instead of listing all of them, I got an idea. Maybe have minimum of three uniques per weapon type. I'm not asking for OP uniques, just a chance to have a selection for your favorite weapon.
